Its perfect.
It fit nicely on our 2016 4Runner SR5. It's textured so not slippery rain or shine, which is great cuz we have little ones that have to climb up the step to get on. Note: Amazon did accidentally send us a wrong set the first time, so before taking it out of its packaging, check the instruction paper to make sure it say toyota 4runner.

Great Value and nicely made and finished
I think these look great, and offer some real additional protection for the rocker panels and the underside of the truck, even though they are not billed as rock sliders. They also seem to be holding up to the snow, salt and dirt roads of maine in the winter exceptionally well. No sign of wear or rust. I shot about a can of Fluid Film inside before installation to give additional rot protection, but the factory powder coat wrinkle finish appears to be really tough stuff.

Very nice quality product
Very nice quality product, good looking, rugged and fits perfectly. I installed them in about an hour with just a socket wrench. Installation would have been quicker except I checked the bolt size on the running boards before I went out to the 4Runner, Tyger uses bolts with 1/2" heads. I started to take off the factory bolts, and Toyota bolts the inside front bolts on really tightly, my wrench was slipping and I was worried I was going to strip the bolt - then it hit me, I bet Toyota is using metric bolts. I swapped the 1/2" socket out for a 12mm and was able to crank the bolt right out. Also, the running boards are kind of heavy, I guess 40 lbs a piece. I'm a big guy, so I was able to lay the board across my chest while I laid on my back under the truck to manuver it into place and get the bolts started - if you are smaller, you might want to use a jack or something (or get some help)

Very easy to install
Amazing step bars. Perfect finish and fit. They were packaged very securely and arrived with no dings or scrapes. Took about 10 minutes each side to attach to my 2016 4Runner, just needed my wife to help hold up while I screwed in the bolts. Only needed a socket, no other tools. I did lose a lock washer in the grass but the hardware included is exactly the same as the factory hardware that you have to remove before installing so there are plenty of spares. Very impressed overall. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

Great looking product.
I purchased these for my 2014 4runner SR5. I went with these because of the price point and I liked the look compared to the basic nerf bar style or like what N-fab sells. I don't drive over boulders so sliders were overkill and didn't do much to help my wife or daughter get into the vehicle. Shipping was quick. Product was very well packaged. Fit was spot on. Quality appears to be excellent but time will tell. These mount where the factory running boards would mount, not to the frame. The gap between the body and step is small, which I appreciate. If you're looking for an alternative to factory or n-fab, these are it.

Not bad install was easy we'll see how long they hold up but all in all pretty happy with the purchase.

Very pleased with my Tyger Running board purchase (for 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD)
- Product arrived very well packaged for shipping. Probably took me longer to unwrap the bubble wrap and protective foam and tape than it did to install. - Perfect fit for my 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD. Took about 15 minutes to install on the first side (just to figure out my game plan and get all the toyota bolts off), about 5 minutes to install on the 2nd side. The running boards are a bit heavy but not overwhelming to do by myself - having help would make it 5 minutes each side. I put each end of the running board on a sturdy crate close to the truck that were about the height of where it was to bolt then crawled under (floor jacks or stands would work well). Dont tighten too much until you have all bolts in so you have a bit of play for hole/bolt line-up. FYI - my Toyota bolts were metric, the Tyger running board bolts are standard so have both socket types handy. I can't remember but the Toyo bolts are a 11or 12mm, and the Tyger bolts are like a 3/8 or 1/2" - Nice design. Makes roof access for my kayaks/roof cargo box easy - Minimizes side door dings from cars because of how the the running board sits/extend out (but not farther than the mirror). - I live in the rainy Pacific NW climate - surface isnt slick. - Does not mount much lower than the base of the door/body frame so virtually no reduction in clearance (but can be a slight negative or something to be aware of. Since they don't mount low under the door/body frame and they stick out a bit which for me makes getting out harder than getting in. (plus the TRD 4Runner does sit a bit higher than other 4R models which doesn't help) - Shorter passengers thought it was much better with the running board installed, and my friends 6' and over had no issue. Must be just me getting old and 5'10". Overall I'm really satisfied especially on how easy the install was, the better access to stand/get things off the roof rack, non-slip design and no loss of clearance. And... they really look good

Solid Steps, works with KDSS.
These steps were solid! They looks awesome on my 2017 4runner w/KDSS. They mount onto the body, not the frame which I already knew. They give it the look of having sliders without spending $500.00+. They are heavier than the factory steps but again, nothing compared to sliders which I wasn’t looking for since I don’t really rock crawl. Tyger does an excellent job packaging these streps. Heavy duty cardboard with foam bumpers/spacers as well as bubble wrapping. They arrived a day late which was a bummer but I believe that was a UPS issue. I also wish they didn’t go crazy with the stars and logo. I prefer a clean look. I’ll probably cover stars and logo with black abrasive grip tape which should still look clean if it attaches well on the textured powder coating.

Awesome Looking Products
It is a perfect fit on my 2017 4Runner TRD Pro and it looks awesome. It is a bit on the heavy side during installation, but jack stands were helping to get the bolts started with a fingers. All holes are lined up each other. This is a solid heavy duty product.

I like how high and tight they sit
I received the step bars in less than a week of purchase. They bolted on just as described. The step is only about 5 inches lower than the floor of the truck so if you're looking for a big drop down these aren't your steps. I like how high and tight they sit. They look great!!!
