Perfect for travel and home

This travel clothesline comes with clips and special beads that allow you to space the clips and hold them in place. This allowed us to hang our clothes to dry in our hotel room shower. Perfect way to pack with carry-on bags only on a 14-day Europe trip. It's so handy I'm even using it at home in the laundry room to hang dry delicates.

Better than I anticipated!

I own a camper and always hang my wet swimsuits over the shower stall in the bathroom. But the water drips and is going to tear up my bathroom floor. I ordered this without much hope for a quality product. I figured it wouldn't be able to hold more than one or two wet swimsuits without falling down from the weight. WRONG!! I hung two swimsuits, 2 swim trunks and 2 towels on this sucker and it held them all up during a wind storm! I couldn't believe the clothes stayed snapped to the line and the line stayed snapped to the trees I strung it between! This clothline is one of those simple fixes that actually does what it claims to do. I am thrilled with it and highly recommend it. My camper bathroom is no longer cluttered with wet swimsuits that drip all over the floor! It also comes in a nice zipped case for storage, which is always appreciated in the tight confines of a camper!

Field tested

I really wanted to try this in the field before writing a review. Now It's been a few months since my camping trip and this picture has been sitting in my computer. I tried this on a sunny windy afternoon . There wan't much in the way of good hanging spots so I slung this between two tents. I hung out my wet swim suit and it held just fine, didn't sag or slide. I thought that I would make a non stretch version of this and I tried that last week and it really wasn't an improvement (other than I made a really long one). For personal use this is a great tool to have in your bag of tricks.

Best Travel Tool Ever!

Purchased this portable clothesline just before a trip to the Caribbean. It was so easy and convenient to use. The secure clips and movable stoppers allowed me to hang and space wet bathing suits or small hand washables with ease. The elastic line helped to make it adaptable to any space. The end hooks could fit onto a knob or be wrapped around something and secured onto the line itself with the hook. It is a very useful device that folds up nicely into its zippered travel pouch for packing. We will take it with us whenever we travel. It is well constructed and expect it will be durable and useful for many years.

well made and excellent for travel

The clothesline is well made and easy to use. I've used them in AirBnb's, hotels and even on a cruise ship. I normally travel very light and have gotten used to washing my clothes in order to travel with carry-on luggage only. This product is lightweight and comes in a plastic zipper lock (similar to ziplock). The long bungee like cord with adjustable locking cord locks to keep the clothes pins from sliding, strong clothes clips and hooks-not suction cups at the ends of the cord are well made and built to last. Recommended and will buy again when the time comes.

Really neat gadget

Really neat gadget. The clotheslines on cruise ships are abysmal at best. I purchased the Hawatour Portable Travel Elastic Clothesline to dry swimsuits etc. It worked like a charm. Sometimes finding a place to stretch it is a challenge but the Hawatour Portable Travel Elastic Clothesline is substantial and up to the task of hanging anywhere you can hook it around. The clothespins are tight enough to hold clothes but easy to operate. It folds up small and will fit in a corner of your suitcase. I travel light (one carry-on for a cruise or 3 weeks in Europe) so the ability to wash and dry clothes is essential. The Hawatour Portable Travel Elastic Clothesline is affordable and well worth it.

Keep your temporary living spaces tidier

I decided at the last minute to add this product to my sink detergent packets and it was a great idea. As I looked at other reviews, I quickly remembered how cumbersome bathing suits can get in a small space. The clothesline was hung up on day one and has made a world of difference with keeping our cruise stateroom a bit tidier. This item packs easily and will definitely become a staple on our trips.

Clever Item - Traveling Must Have!

I have three of these nifty items. I was prompted to search Amazon for "travel clothesline" after my dear husband reserved a house for us stay in on a 12-day vacation - and didn't make sure it had a washer and dryer! With the three lines plus a foldable metal drying rack, I dried 2 days worth of clothing for my family of four. The house had a nice deck and I was able to find posts, hooks in the ceiling, and even the umbrella on the patio table to attach these to and get the job done. I even used it in a hotel room to hang swimsuits. Customer service from the seller was also above and beyond - I emailed them with a very, very minor issue and they responded with more than was expected. I now have purchased some nice wall hooks to permanently hang one hidden behind a curtain in my home and I can stretch it across the room to another hook so I can hang laundry at home. I had a retractable clothesline I'd been using just like this, but the retraction stopped working. I'm just going to use one of these instead. That's a lot of words to say that this item is awesome! I'll probably never travel without one again - even if I don't think I'll need it.

PERFECT!! SOOO much better than the bathtub rail or the closet hangers!!

I have just returned from a vacation in a humid environment, full of laundry done in the tub and the sink, and this product enabled our clothes to dry more quickly over an air vent instead of hanging for days in an ever-humid bathroom. The ONLY thing I can think of to improve this product is to provide an extra set of end hooks with a wider curve. The narrow ones on the line are adjustable with some effort, but would then be subject to metal fatigue after a number of adjustments. Adding an extra set with a different, wider curve would enable the user to hook the line on many other different objects to hang the line and prevent the possibility of eventually breaking the end hook.
