My Mother Loves It

My mom wanted an electric skillet and I wanted to get her the mack daddy of skillets. Well without spending 300 bucks at williams and sonoma, this model from what I saw on reviews and a consumers reports review, was the best. I mean, its a metal bowl that gets hot, so what can go wrong. According to my mother, "It heats evenly, and cleans up easily" which were her biggest concerns.

The best electric skillet!

I bought this electric skillet 6 months ago. I wanted to be able to give a review based on using the skillet for 6 months using 3-4 times weekly. In my life i have owned over 10 electric skillets from different manufacturers. This Bella copper skillet is definitely the best i have ever had. The temperature setting is spot on (tested with a thermometer). The finish looks as new today as it did when i pulled it out of the box. It it so easy to clean, just wipe it out with a dry paper towel to remove any residue, hand wash with soapy water and it looks brand new. I remember reading mixed reviews before purchasing and it made me skeptical about purchasing. I am glad I with my gut instinct and took a chance on the purchase. I am purchasing another to have a back up. Dont hesitate purchasing, you wont be disappointed!

Great performing skillet

Bought this to replace another name brand non-stick skillet that lasted approx 2.5 - 3 yrs. Did plenty of research, this Bella skillet was highly rated, unique non-stick finish was well reviewed. After using now for about 6 wks it has performed flawlessly, non-stick surface is great. Plus it doesn't have the typical "heat ring hot spot" most of these style skillets have. It dissipates the heat across the surface of the unit. Very pleased with my purchase.

Love this pan. UPDATE

Love this pan. I was wary of its claims but it has lived up to my expectations. It does heat quickly and runs hot but I have been able to allow for this and use this pan often. It cleans quickly and easily. Nothing sticks. I love this pan. UPDATE 6 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE I still love this pan. I paid attention to the instructions that came with the pan. I also paid attention to the complaints of some reviewers. Given all that, this is the BEST frying pan. I heartily recommend it.

The strangest thing about Griddles

I don't know what it is about men and griddles, but they just love to cook on em! Growing up my dad would always bust out the griddle and make some pancakes and eggs....it was the only thing he ever did in the kitchen, so I really shouldn't have been surprised when I purchased this for our camper so we could leave it at the campgrounds and we'd have it for eggs and bacon breakfast, only to find my husband in the kitchen making breakfast on it the next morning at home. I don't know what it is, but if you want your husband to make you breakfast, buy one of these and don't even take it out of the box, within 1 - 3 days, without any prompting whatsoever, your man will make you breakfast with this. Like I said, don't know the science behind it, only know what I've witnessed.

In this case- size DOES matter. Love it- need it bigger!!!!

Ok ok I know size isn’t supposed to matter......If they made this in like a 24x24 or 36x36 I’d be golden. It’s my favorite thing to cook in. I literally use it every single night, but dinner takes awhile with 5 people if I have to sauté the chicken in shifts or brown the meat in parts or steam half the veggies at a time. I LOVE this thing. Easiest thing I’ve ever had to clean. Wipe it out with a dry paper towel and then clean with a soft sponge like it’s just a bowl and you’re done. Nothing sticks to it. It’s amazing. I’ve made lettuce wraps, chicken piccata, chicken scampi, tacos, meat sauce, zucchini pesto, monte cristos, literally everything I cook is in this bad boy.......I just need it bigger guys.- or at least on sale so I can get a second and maybe third one 😂

Excellent product!!! The reviews here that bash this product are a little unfounded. According to the manual (and my experience as a chef) this pan needs to be seasoned. Because it is indeed copper, the manual says, prior to using, to wash the pan with mild soap and thoroughly dry it. Then, heat it (dry and empty) for 5 minutes at 450 degrees, then shut it off and let it cool for at least 15 minutes. This will help in keeping the non-stick surface non-stick and will also eliminate the burn mark some people have claimed. The pan does turn a pretty darker copper when seasoned. I was looking for a high quality electric skillet that has actual temperature degrees on the element, not just low, medium, or high. This skillet has the degrees on the dial. Easy to clean, durable, accurate, looks great, and heats quickly. Well worth the $20.00. This exact model is over $30.00 at Macy’s. Great value! Buy this one!

So far so good

Had this for about a month and so far, it's preforming great. I'm not one to think that this type of skillet is going to last forever due to what it is. But if this lasts a year or more, it will be worth the money. My last one had one temperature "NUCLEAR"! This heats evenly, has nice range of temp controls that actually work, it is big enough for my needs, stores easy, and is easy clean, and the surface is slick as all get out. Nothing sticks.

Fast heatup and great cooking surface. Cleans up like new with just a slightly wet paper towel on a warm surface.

For 20 bucks I love this grill!! I have had very expensive grills and some medium priced. This one differentiates from the pack in that it cleans nicely with just a paper towel slightly wetted and on a warm surface. The thermal diffusivity is obviously superior probably because of high thermal conductivity. This means that I it heats up quickly and you don't have to put it on a high temperature setting to achieve a nice result. For example, I cook eggs on just 250°F and everything cooks nicely without burning. I still use spray which also helps keep things from overcooking or burning. Unlike my last grill, this one stays flat and level so eggs don't just migrate to the center. I would recommend 2 or more at that price to use for heating/serving surfaces in addition to cooking.

This one works fine for our needs

Made 40 pieces of french toast first time out, 10 as pictured. Quick clean up. We make these ahead of time and freeze and microwave mornings later. Anxious to try the other bella products.This one works fine for our needs. We replaced our teflon due to issues and carcinogens and birds in the house.
