I bought Mellanox switches (and cables) and wanted to connect our Cisco Catalyst 3750-X stack (12.5X firmware) using the C3KX-NM-10G modules. The Mellanox cables would not work and a Cisco TAC case told me to try a different type of cable. We tried the undocumented commands to disable HCL checks on the transceivers but it was still failing. I found these and ordered 4 to test. The part number I searched for and ordered (SFP-H10GB-CU3M) was not the same as what was on the items shipped, but I assumed they were compatible so I tried it. Worked perfectly.

These cables are extremely reasonably priced and work great. We have not had any problems since we started using these and saved money. We will buy these SFP cable sets any time we have need for 10Gb SFP connections.

Recently built a storage server for my video production company. I attached 2 editing bays to the storage server via 10Gtek SFP cabling. Read / Write performance has been stellar.

Connected my D-Link DGS-1210-10P just fine (1 Gb/s Full Duplex, that is the max for the port).

I use these between two servers and a NAS that all utilize Broadcom 10Gbe cards - and they perform flawlessly. Highly recommend these units - excellent price, excellent compatibility, and excellent performing!

This product is a 10GB/sec SFP+ to SFP+ optical patch cable. I put one end of it into my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Infinity and the other end into my Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 48 Lite. It worked. What else is there to say?

Appears to be high quality however I purchased mistakenly, thinking it would work for my 3750 Switch homelab. Seller offered a return and discount on correct cable even though it was my mistake.

A little pricey but it does what it needs to do. Speeds are great and it works with various brands of switches and NIC's. I have tested Ubiquity, QNAP, Netgear as switches and HP and Intel NIC's!

Does everything it's supposed to. 10G speeds between 2 Mellanox SFP+ cards. Quality is up there with the best DAC cables, and i have no questions this cable will last for a very very long time.

Usually in high speed networking you don't want to use anything cheap but 10Gtek has really surprised me with their quality. I am using two of these to stack a pair of Fortinet Fortiswitches. I bought the ones for Cisco and they work fine. I have used their Gbics in a Ubiquiti POE switch and they have had no issues for over a year. These cables didn't even exist 10 years ago as the shortest you could get from Cisco were 3 meters long and at $250. They click in positively and stay put with no play. They also unclick easily and pull out without getting stuck.
