Cute little electric stove
This is a cute little electric stove. Make sure that you check out the measurements before you order. I bought it for my utility room in the basement, and it gives my basement utility room a lovely glow and cozy warmth. I also love the remote control. You can use the "fire" without the heat if you choose. The knob on the door is super cute, and when you open the glass door, you can see the thermostat and the other digital numbers that tell you the temperature, the time setting (how long do you want it to run), and the flame intensity (see photo). I chose this particular stove because of the glass sides. I thought that was prettier to see the flame by three sides. One more thing, this electric stove was mostly assembled when it was delivered. The only thing that I had to assemble were the four legs; they each took three screws and it was very easy to accomplish. I loved that I didn't have to do much assembly.

So happy with this purchase!
Honestly, I didnt buy from Amazon. I bought mine from a shopping network because they have it in several different colors and I wanted Bronze... It's so pretty! We love the 3d effects, and the side views. The heat is warm, not too hot and doesn't dry out the air in the room. We use ours in our 42ft Motor Home. It's perfect and highly reccomend this fireplace heater. 😊

Best Purchase Ever
I pondered a great deal before purchasing this fireplace heater. Some of the reviews gave me concern, such as the controls were hard to see, fan was loud, etc. But....I am SO glad I listened to those who had all positive statements. Controls are lit digitally so are not hard to see...just open the door & they are controlled by the remote. It is absolutely perfect!!! It is so quiet that I don't even have to turn up the TV ... and it is right beside my chair. The heat comes out just below the lip on the top....not the bottom as stated by some. The top still remains cool-ish so not a hazard to touch. Legs may be plastic, but if so...they are really stout & probably better for my linoleum floor than metal would be. I am totally thrilled with my new purchase!

Might be the best thing I've ever bought
I had this item in my cart for a long time before purchasing. I'll admit I was skeptical it would heat 1000 sq feet as claimed. I live in a newish 2 story home. Every fall and winter we nearly freeze to death downstairs and I have bought several space heaters over the years that would warm us up if we put it directly in front of us but not really warming up the area. Cranking up the regular house heat just cooked the upstairs while it was still shivery cold downstairs. I tried all the vent adjusting and other tips but it just would stay cold no matter what. WELL. I finally decided to give this a try and for the FIRST TIME EVER WE ARE WARM ON OUR MAIN LEVEL. No kidding! This little powerhouse is warming up our entire downstairs floor! This includes a large kitchen/family room area and a large hallway/stairway and the dining room and formal living room off the kitchen. I can't get over it. The thermostat for our home is in the far front formal living room and this heater is in the opposite far back corner in the family room and it is able to move the thermostat up by 2 or 3 degrees in an hour or so. The upstairs gets cold during the day (which is fine bc we are downstairs) because the main heat isn't kicking on. I literally am so happy with this and truly amazed at how well it works. Also, the flames are gorgeous and look very lifelike. Beautiful. And the unit is a sturdy metal that is very classy and lovely. If I could give this thing more than 5 stars I would. Honestly, I might go on the road expressing to people how great it is haha. Lastly, other reviews mention it being annoying that the control panel is behind the door but it hasn't been an issue. I set it once and now I just turn it on and off with the remote and it keeps the settings you had.

Plan to buy a 2nd!
Our home is 97 years old and was originally a hand hewn log home before all the additions over the years. Unfortunately, the house never had a fireplace or stove. They opted for a furnace in the cellar instead. I always felt like the house was just missing the coziness of a wood stove and we also have baseboard heating which is outrageously expensive. For the last 2 years we've used space heaters. They work ok, but they don't circulate heat - they just radiate it, so we had many throughout the downstairs. We inquired about having a wood stove installed and due to it being 2 stories where we needed it, the piping alone was a huge expense before we even get to purchasing a stove. I wanted something that looked vintage and had character (=$$$), so I went on a search for an electric stove that looked as close to real as possible and I fully expected it to be expensive. To my surprise, I found this gem with great reviews and a beyond reasonable price. I did my research and looked at every video and review I could find. My husband wasn't sold because he wanted something that "looked real" and we all know the fake fire tends to look, well, fake. I loved that this one has views available on 3 sides since the stove can be seen from other rooms and no matter where you're at in the room it's in, you can see the fire. Anyway, long story already too long, we decided to purchase it and hope for the best. We were not disappointed. My husband even loves it and he was dead set on a real stove. We didn't want it just sitting in the middle of the room like a piece of furniture. We wanted it to be a focal point, so we built a fake hearth around it and we are in love. It hasn't gotten too cold here in PA yet, but today it's 55 and I have the thermostat set at 62 and it's plenty comfortable. I have the fire on without the heat almost every single day because it gives me a cozy cabin feel. We are confident that it won't disappoint when it comes to keeping the room warm throughout winter, so we fully intend to purchase another one for another room. I also love that the heating element is on the top, so you don't have this random thing hanging from the bottom of the stove. It blends in so much better. Also, since we opted for a faux brick for the fireplace and the stove has a faux brick back panel as well, it gives the illusion that we have a 360 degree fire view. The etched glass is a favorite feature too. My only complaint is that it is hard to see the buttons (at least on the black stove). It would be great if those at least had a glowing outline or something, BUT if you have the heat and fire on when you turn it off with the remote, you can turn it on with the remote and it goes right back to those settings. In case it wasn't obvious already 😁, I LOVE this stove and would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Such strange problems/oversights; but it's so beautiful, realistic, warm, soothing, efficient, did I say beautiful...?

Great for medium size rooms
*UPDATE* 2/2/18 Here's a little update. It's been about 5 months now since buying this heater. Our winter was terribly cold & being the first year without central heat the entire house was freezing. I used this heater in the bedroom where me and my 3 year old sleep. It kept us very warm at night even during the coldest of nights (lowest at night was 9 degrees F). What I want to add to my initial review is that using space heaters to zone heat will make your electric bill go up. My electric bill for the entire month it was freezing cold came out to be $280 when normally with central heat (both gas & electric) it would be under $200. I did run 4 space heaters (this one, a Lasko, and a radiator heater, plus one small 1500 watt utility heater) in 2 bedrooms, the living room & the washroom. We are still in some cold weather and I have learned to close off rooms that are not used, also put up curtains to close off rooms without a door (like the hallway that connects to the living room and the kitchen door that goes into the den) which helps to keep the warm air in that certain area without allowing in drafts. Closing off sections of the house we are not using in the cold days and nights has helped greatly to keep the rooms we are in warmer. This heater has worked well since the first day and I think it will last many winters to come. it is one of the best heaters I have and would buy again from this brand. First of all, let me share with you a little bit about why I want this heater for my home. We have an older home (about 75 years old) with hardwood/cement floors (no carpet), older storm windows and 3 interior doors leading to the outside. Last year I had the house 'weatherized' and this year I've put up thermal curtains in all the windows, have added medium size area rugs in most rooms, also have covered one of the doors leading outside with plastic. Winters here the temps drop into the low 20's on snowy nights and highs range between 30's and 50's for December, January and the first part of February. Those are the coldest months for us. Normally we would use a 22-year-old Central Heat/Air unit that sits on top of the house for all our heating but over the last few years that has become unreliable. The last plumber/electrician I called out when the unit stopped working was hesitant to touch the unit because he said it is a 'electrical nightmare' (a handyman of the previous house owner spliced wires and connected them in unsafe ways to repair the unit and now it has become dangerous for electricians and plumbers to repair). This year the unit has gone out again. I would like to avoid paying $300 for another plumber to come out and 'patch' up the unit enough for it to work hopefully the entire winter (last year the plumber said it was iffy if the unit would last the entire winter). For me, the issue is keeping my old home warm this winter without the use of the Central Heat unit. Normally my gas/electric bill for the coldest months range on average $170 combined, so my goal is to stay below that cost per month with Zone Heating using space heaters in the rooms we use the most. I have done lots of research on Zone Heating to warm homes without the use of any other Central Heating units and the cost is supposed to be lower, but that I am not able to say because this is my winter without Central Heating. My reasons for picking this heater is because I wanted something that will stay cool to the touch and is hard to knock over because I have a 3-year-old and cats that are curious about anything in the house and I don't want any of them getting burned. I wanted a heater that would comfortably warm an ice cold room (old house, it gets very cold) both day and night and one that will last not only this winter but the next winter too. I don't want anything with plastic around it because an older infrared heater we had was plastic casing and the control knobs melted off the top of it. I wanted a heater that has a reputable name, is metal, not plastic, will also have the fireplace look to it, because I have always wanted a fireplace and the ability to move it around (has to be light). This heater is light, easy to move from one room to the other. Large enough to heat comfortably and quickly a medium size bedroom and quiet enough to leave on while sleeping. You can hear the fan but it is not much louder than most fan heaters and projects heat at least 3 feet in front of the unit but in a closed room it will comfortably warm the room. Cool to the touch, except a little warm on the top front where the heat comes out, but not hot to burn small hands or an animal. One of my cats likes to lay on top of the heater while it is on. The front door is glass and so are the sides. The unit is all metal, except the legs that are easy to attach. I'd recommend this heater. I am in the process of buying a couple more for the other bedrooms and smaller rooms in my home.

The light effect creates a nice ambiance and runs very quietly
I have seen a variety of electric stoves and this one is by far the nicest! The light effect creates a nice ambiance and runs very quietly. The controls (including remote) are easy to use. The thermostat and timer settings have been accurate. The fire is not super bright, so I tend not to use the dimmer settings. The design is quaint and the cinnamon color looks beautiful with our bedroom decor. This is a good looking, affordable, and very safe (it never gets hot to the touch) alternative to a wood or gas stove.
