This is a fast paced game that I love. It's not for those who like to sit around strategically planning their next move. The card is put down and you have to read it and respond with the appropriate card that is in your hand. Creates fun and laughter and I love it. Sometimes there is controversy over whether a card that was played actually fits and then there's a penalty, etc. It's simple, it's easy and it's fun. The only down side is that the cards are quite slippery, but maybe that is intentional to make it even more fun! It would be nice if the box held the cards more securely, picking it up, be careful, the top can slide off and drop the whole box of cards to the floor. Flip side of slippery cards is they seem to be easy to clean off in case there are dirty fingers or germs to be cleaned off.

Fun game. Kids love it, they always ask to play it. Great for small parties or to play with family. Everyone we played with enjoys it. It is funny to see everyone frantically looking through cards. funniest moment, the topic is things not found in a hardware store--first card played, hedgehog!

I got this for my niece's family at Christmas. They have 7 children under 13 years old. It was a smash hit with the children and their parents, from ages 7 and up. The 5 year old tried to play, and ended up "helping" her mother, with some hilarious results. The game is fast-paced, and I loved that every player (including me) got a chance to win more than one time. There were no tears or complaints - just laughter and lots of enjoyment. I'm very pleased with Slapzi, and recommend it highly!

My 10 year old granddaughter and 13 year old grandson love this game! I brought it as a gift when I visited them, and we played it together, and have played it on several subsequent visits with the same good fun!

Extremely fun! I highly recommend Slapzi. I came across this game during a search for Tenzi, which we love and I was ordering to give as a gift. I was hesitant to order this because there wasn't much information regarding gameplay and the images looked like it might be for very young kids. I'm so glad I took a chance. This game is a lot of fun. Fast paced and great for competitive players. The image cards are double sided. The action cards list attributes the card you need to lay down must have (shape, color, use, size, odd or even number of letters, ends in a vowel, has all different letters and more). In a nutshell, an action card is revealed and the goal is to be the first person to slap down an applicable card. If you are the first to slap down your card then that card stays in the pile and your hand is smaller, the first person to slap down all of the cards in their hand wins. It can be played with a reader for younger kids, where one player reads the card for the others. Or, if playing with strong readers, simply flip the card and everyone reads for themselves. Like tenzi, there are variations for the game, use the ones suggested or create your own. I think this game is suitable for kids only, adults and kids together, and even adults only. The images on the cards made me think it would be an easy, rather juvenile game but it really makes you think.

This is pretty simple, on some levels, but it is more than enough to keep the under twelve group happily distracted for an hour of more. It's fun, requires some skill, but it is not enough to unduly tax anyone. A must for a rainy day.

Best new game we have had in a long time! The family loves it. Took it to an elementary school academic team meet and played during downtime while waiting for results. It was a big hit! Parents, teachers, even the principal asked where we got it. Fun, easy to learn, can take anywhere, good for ages 5 - 95!

My students love this game. I use it for speech language therapy - word retrieval, word memory, categorization. Students love it.

This is a fun game for all ages. It reminds me a bit of I See It and Slamwich, but with more thinking involved. For this game, you have to think about what makes a match with the clue and quickly slap that down. It requires reading, but an adult or older child could read the clue out loud each round for non-readers.

One of the best card games I've played in a while. We played it with a very large group of my family and it was all yelling and craziness... so if your family is anything like mine, competitive and loves a good game this is it. It's like a fun adult version of slap jack, with the exception that you have to listen and pay attention to the clue card!!! Endless hours of fun entertainment.
