This did not come as one long unit but rather folded in half. You do have to unfold this and zip it together to get the full length but there's no dip in the middle. I placed this under the mattress and it elevates the head just enough to give my daughter comfort while she has a cold. Previous wedges I've used have angled the mattress too much and caused her to roll down to the foot of her bed, I have not had that issue with this one. Works great, would highly recommend.

My son had the start of a head cold. He was congested and not sleeping well. I noticed he slept better upright in my arms then in his crib. When he lay flat in his crib he would have trouble breathing through his nose and constantly woke up. After installing the wedge, he sleeps soundly and we are both breathing easy. The grip side holds the wedge in place. The other side is the same as his crib mattress. Great product and I definitely recommend it to for little ones.

I purchased to transition my baby from her rock n play to her crib. This worked wonders. She also has a bit of reflux and I think this helps her at night. The wedge is not very high (only 12 degrees) but enough to do the trick. The wedge is soft, easily washable and fits in the crib well. We also took this on a recent trip to use in a pack n play for sleeping and it was easy to pack and worked well on vacation too.

I was skeptical of this wedge as I didn't think it would work for my reflux baby (even medicated, she's a pretty serious spitter), but I'm so glad I got it. She had been sleeping in a rock and play for 4 months (since birth) but she's already rolling both ways so keeping her in the rock and play made me nervous so I was anxious to make the transition to the crib. I still have to keep her upright for a good 20-30 minutes after she finishes feeding but this has been working great for us so far. I needed to switch our fitted sheet to one of the Jersey knits since it has a little more give to fit this under the sheet (I'm sure our regular sheets would have fit but I didn't want to fight with it). I'd definitely recommend that product for reflux babies.

This is the best purchase we made for our second born. My oldest slept in the crib from day one and we never had issues, so when number 2 came and refused to sleep anywhere but in the bassinet by Mommy I wanted to pull my hair out. We tried everything and finally concluded it was the need to be angled when he slept. I fou d this product and the first night we had it I place my son slept 12 hours in the crib. It was glorious!!! So grateful for such a simple yet effective solution that worked for us. Every child is different, but for us this was a lifesaver.

Our daughter has reflux and hates sleeping flat. This helps her sleep so much better. She now sleeps 6+hrs a night. The only issue we ran into was that she slid down the wedge. We bought a swaddle best called Reste that attaches to the mattress so it keeps her on the wedge. Worth buying these items together.

My son hates to sleep flat! Insists on being up at an angle. The angle in his rock&play was pretty drastic so this pillow did two things for me. I was able to fold it in half when we transferred him to his bassinet. It worked well enough that we could keep him propped up as we transitioned him out of the Rock&Play. Then unfolding it the angle became less drastic and eventually I was able to remove it all together. I may adjust and add more feedback to my review once we have successfully transitioned him to the crib. But so far, so good! Especially for using it in a bassinet since it wasnt designed for that, but you guys should totally consider that as a company (make one smaller for bassinets since not all parents start kids in cribs). But this wedge was ten times better than the first one I purchased! I feel it was safer to use too because it didn't slide around.

We have a TOUGH infant. The past 11 months have been difficult in so many ways but most importantly lack of sleeping. We tried everything - and even kept him sleeping in his rock and play way longer than we should’ve simply because it was the only way we all could get some sleep!!! So in preparation for an upcoming vacation , I knew we needed to transition. So putting him directly in a pack and play didn’t seem to do it. We first tried the Merlin magic sleep suit- and even tho he looked adorable, it didn’t seem to relax him any more than before nor keep him asleep. As a last resort, we tried this. And this has been a miracle worker for us! He sleeps so well he takes naps in there now, he can turn on his side comfortably and stays asleep LONGER than before. Does he still awake? YES. But this has been a huge help for us !! If you’re having issues give this a try !

This is great! My little one has AR and this has made a HUGE difference in his sleep pattern! He sleeps longer and doesn't wake spitting up or coughing anything like he used to! I have him in our bedroom in a playpen with the elevated portion that we use as his crib next to our bed. This fits snugly in the playpen thank goodness! And it folds in half for easy travel when we visit family. I highly recommend this for any parent with a AR Baby!

I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law whose baby was born prematurely at 31 weeks and suffered from some reflux. They noticed once he was home for a few weeks, that he wasn't settling as well in his crib on a flat surface and he was still having bouts of reflux. They started using the Hiccapop at about 3 months of age and after a couple of nites, noticed an increased difference in his sleeping habits and also, the reflux decreased significantly. They are still using it and will continue to do so until they feel that he no longer needs it. He definitely seems a happier baby for having this in his crib and I would recommend it to any newborn parents!
