I was looking for a water bowl that couldn't be tipped or dragged in cage. My rabbit (5 lbs) loves to throw water in the cage and then shred the wet paper, it was driving me crazy. I had the heavy crock bowl, but it had a 'lip' on it and she was able to actually pick up the bowl in her teeth and shake and rattle the bowl until the water flies out. Due to the construction of the cage (plastic bottom) I wasn't able to get one of those stainless steel bowls that you attach to the cage bars, too high for her to reach. I did NOT want to use a water bottle. I've only had the bowl a couple of days, but so far, she's not moved it. I think the bowl is curved enough that she cannot get a grip on it with her teeth. One of the reviews said water leaked out of this bowl, so that was a concern, but I do not see how water could leak out of a ceramic bowl, short of it having a crack. It is small, but you need to change the water everyday, so no chance of it running low. I'm going to give it another week or so and if appears this is something bunny can't throw water out of, I will definitely be ordering another bowl.

This is a very cute bowl that makes it easier for our bunny to eat her meals. We had a metal one before (small one designed for a dog or cat) that she had to dump food out of to finish a meal. She also tipped the metal bowl over accidentally multiple times, and we once found her sitting in the bowl trying to tip it over to get back out again. There's no chance of that happening with this bowl. It is too heavy for her to tip over and too shallow for her to get stuck in, and there's still plenty of room for a generous serving of food. I dropped the bowl recently after filling it and it didn't break or chip. It landed on a wooden floor but other ceramic objects have broken when dropped onto same floor. Bunny and her owners are all very happy with our purchase.

No wonder why this got great reviews from other people. I was pleasantly surprised at how big this is--I mean it's not that big, but works well enough for a water dish for our bunny. I love the design and both my daughter and I were bummed when it first sold out, but then it was in stock again and we snatched it up. It's very solid and does not tip over at all! I might just get another one (watermelon) if we ever need another dish. I would highly recommend!

My rabbits live to nudge and prod things every which way which kept me from giving them water in the way they would naturally consume it. I had to use those terrible drip bottles. Drip bottles don’t allow your rabbit to drink much at a time, if you ever seen your rabbit yanking on the metal end it was probably out of frustration in trying to actually get a mouth full of water. I bought two of these water dishes as I have two rabbits. They drink way more which gives me piece of mind because rabbits getting dehydrated is detrimental. I fill both 2-3 times a day. They don’t tip. Also these bowls are totally precious. I got one grapefruit and one kiwi, they’re perfect in my eyes.

I purchased this bowl (watermelon design) and the other two designs. It looks to be well made and arrived with no chips or cracks. I was very happy to see this as I initially thought it seemed somewhat expensive and I almost didn't buy it for that very reason. I have been looking for ceramic bowls (that aren't too tall) that my guinea pigs can't tip over as a couple of them have gotten in the habit of doing that lately. The design of this bowl makes it hard for them tip it. So far, both my little troublemakers have been unable to tip it. I feed 1/8 of a cup of pellets in it (the recommended daily amount) and it fills less than halfway full. I believe the capacity of the bowl is about 3/4 of a cup so I don't use it for their daily cup of veggies. I would like to have some of these in a bigger size for that very purpose. Although it was more than I wanted to pay, I am content with this bowl and I would recommend trying it if you are looking for a cute bowl or have a piggy that likes to tip over their bowl.

I have 3 guinea pigs, and one of them is a chronic bowl tipper. I got fed up with noisy, leaky, hard to clean water bottles and decided to take a chance with this bowl. I LOVE IT. SO MUCH. The pigs seem to enjoy it a lot more than the bottle too, as they don't have to lift their necks all funny to try and drink now. . The bowl is adorable, easy to clean, and absolutely tip proof!!!

This is the perfect bowl for my guinea pig! She has a habit of leaving little bits of food in the corners of other bowls, but this one has a round interior so she can fish out every last pellet. It's shallow enough that she can lean over it without tipping the bowl. It also has smooth sides and is heavy enough that she can't turn it upside down. Plus it's super cute! I'd recommend for any guinea pig owner!

After trying several different water bowls, this one seems to have solved the tipping problem. Bunny was tipping the other bowls on a daily basis and so far this bowl has not been overturned since it was put in the cage about 4 or 5 days ago. This bowl also looks nicer than the other bowls...maybe the bunny likes the design as well and that's why he's not flipping this one.

I know that this isn't really aimed at cats, but I have a cat with vision issues and she gets frustrated with traditional food bowls. Some call it whisker fatigue, but no matter what you call it, this bowl fixes the problem. This bowl is absolutely perfect for her. It is deep enough to comfortably hold her food without spilling over the edge when she semi-blindly face-plows into the food. Whisker fatigue is a thing of the past with this bowl. Before I got this bowl, she would barely touch her food if it dropped too far below the surface. Now she cleans the bowl out with a happy bounce to her gait. On top of it being a pefect functional fit, it's a really cute bowl. So function, performance, super cute. It's a win. The glaze is flawless with zero defects; perfectly smooth even on the underside (which I appreciate from a pride in craftsmanship perspective).

So ****ing cute. Feels very solid, tipping is virtually impossible. The bottom isn't solid ceramic, there's a sort of cavern but it's completely glazed. Also the seed/rind pattern in the center of mine isn't centered, which at first drove me crazy, but I've since just rotated the dish so it's less noticable. I'll probably buy a second. It's still one of the best small critter dishes available anywhere.
