Wasn't too sure about this, but was desperate and couldn't afford to go to the dentist for a $600 nightguard. I clench my teeth at night. Tried the mold and I messed it up, so I sent the company an email - they quickly sent me new molding supplies. Got the actual nightguard back in about 10 days. It fit great, but bothered me because it felt too thick. Emailed back to customer service and they tried to help me adjust it at home, but it still felt too thick. So, they sent me another set of molding supplies so they could make me a thinner version. Got the new version very quickly and am happy! Excellent customer service and yes, it is the same nightguard you'd get from the dentist. I know this because I had to spend said $600 on a guard for my daughter. This one is identical. Definitely worth a try unless you have specific needs and need it to be adjusted by a dentist.

Great item for the price

I've only had this one day, so I can't attest to its durability yet. However, the process of making the mold was very easy, and I received the finished product just 9 days after I mailed in the mold. The fit seems to be perfect, and it is much more comfortable than the products available at drug stores. If the guard is durable, I will consider this to be a great value.

Absolutely GREAT product

If you need a mouth guard, order this one. I have tried several types from Dr. office to OTC. This one beats all others. Fits better and is more comfortable while doing the job. Took fewer nights to get used to. Able to keep mouth closed if desired while sleeping compared to my former one from Dr. office’s bulky one. Stays in place during night. And the process was super quick: from date of buying to having the completed mouth guard was about three weeks....didn’t count the proceessing days but was shocked when it arrived so soon, and I hadn’t even done it immediately after receiving package or to mail in the impression package.. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow.... read and follow completely every detail, ex: mixing and time to take mixing. Customer service was outstanding in meeting my needs, and were quick to respond when emailed a personal concern. These people have this process down!

Lifesaver, or at least dental saver

I've bitten through 3 OTC mouth guards in as many weeks. I ordered this after my dentist told me my insurance doesn't cover mouth guards and one would cost me almost $500. I received the mold kit in just a few days, the instructions were easy to follow, and the mold hardened correctly. Only difficult part was getting the mold to come off, which was corrected by wiggling the mold to get it off my teeth. I sent the mold in, along with the additional order paper they send you. For $30 you can have them keep your mold for 5 years, allowing you to purchase additional guards at the reduced price. They only keep the mold for a few months otherwise. I have 3 crowns and a gap at my gums in between my front teeth. The mold and the guard have not affected either one. Its significantly more comfortable than OTC guards, and I no longer drool at night from an oversized bulky guard. The guard is perfectly formed to my teeth, even though I have a very small mouth. I can pop this in and it doesn't move or fall out. I can even talk with it in. Its easy to clean, and over the last month or so, there are only a few scratches where my teeth rub. I actually grind my teeth so bad I had to go in ro the dentist 4 times in 2 weeks because of chipped teeth, that were actually cutting my mouth and tongue open. Haven't had a single chip since using this guard. On thing to note though, this model is for the grinding and rubbing, not clenching. They have a double soft/hard guard that takes care of that. My teeth and jaw still ache when I wake up from the clenching, but no more dental damage. All in all, best $100 I ever spent (I got the 5 yr extension for them to keep my mold). I highly recommend this guard to anyone who wants a comfortable, durable mouth guard for grinding your teeth.

What else can I say? This product saved me $600. The dentist gave my wife a quote of $600 and some change for the exact same product. The molding process was really easy. Came with easy instructions. Sent it back. And within a week I got the mouth guard. It was all prepaid so the price you pay is a one time charge. This mouth guard is really thick and durable. It should last at least 5 years, depending on the level of grinding. NOTE: Don’t be discouraged when it hurts your teeth at first and have a lot of pressure. It hurt my wife so bad that she couldn’t wear it for more than an hour. What I did was I put it in boiling water for 2 seconds and pushed out the areas that was hurting my wife. I did this about 3 times until it fit perfectly and it didn’t hurt my wife anymore. Now she sleeps every night with it. It fits great and doesn’t hurt anymore. I bought this for about $90. So it basically saved me $510 as compared to the dentist. Seriously. What else can I say but thank you for a great QUALITY product!!! Im a very happy customer.

Great product, great company!!!

I was planning to get a Night Guard made at my dentist for $895. That is crazy, but I really needed one. I saw this on Amazon, as well as other companies, but chose this one because of the middle price point and their communication when I asked a question. I received it two days ago and was blown away at the size, texture and fit!!! it was effortless to use and did not bother me at all!!! Would definitely recommend!!!!! Really Happy!!!

Yes, it can replace your $400 dentist made night guard.

Fits like a glove. The first try did not work out...I didn't get a deep enough impression. I contacted the company and they arranged for me to get another kit. The second try was better and I recommend the night guard.

My old dentist made night guards for free. My new dentist quoted me $600. Professional Dental lab charged me less than $100. The kit arrived a few days after ordering. The instructions to take an impression were clear with photographs to help. The night guard arrived only a few days after returning the impression in their pre paid mailer. The night guard fits comfortably which makes it very easy to use every night. So far, nothing not to like after a month.

VERY satisfied customer !!!!

I was extremely skeptical that a thin cover over my top teeth could possibly help with my horribly painful TMJ. My dentist kept telling me that it a night guard would make a huge difference and help the painful popping that I had every day. The dentist charges $550 for a night guard but a friend mentioned that I could get a custom made one from amazon for a great deal less. Since I did not think it was going to help I decided to try ordering on line. I WAS AMAZED. The first night I put it in, it fit comfortably, and I woke up for the first time in years and did not have my jaw pop and shift in horrible pain. I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW OR WHY IT WORKS BUT IT DOES!!! It worked so well that I had my son order one as well. Worth every penny plus the customer service with this company is wonderful. I had a glitch with the one my son ordered ( his fault) and Joe was extremely helpful in fixing the problem we had.

Fantastic alternative!!

As many others have stated, my dentist was going to charge me $750 for a night guard to treat TMJ and teeth chipping from constant clenching and grinding. I could not possibly justify spending that kind of money on a 3 inch piece of plastic despite the benefits. I found this after doing a bit of searching and research and I’m so thrilled that I did! It fits perfectly and is ultra comfortable and I received it quite quickly. I tried another DIY home night guard that was less expensive but it was horribly uncomfortable and didn’t fit right at all. This is worth every cent and then some. Thank you so much!
