Great Camera - Extremely Reliable

We've been through several cameras to keep an eye on our dogs inside the house and on activity outside our house (through windows) that isn't captured by security cameras. This is the best one we've found. Complete pan/tilt features. Reliable connectivity. Record to the cloud at a very reasonable price. High level of control. The nightvision can be turned off, which is an important feature for us. We love these!

I absolutely like it so much I gave it 5 stars and the Amcrest Technician "AMANDA" who help me to connect it to my cellphone she was professional, patient and knowledgeable. She took responsibility for the issue as if it were her own. I gave her 5-STARS also. She did a fantastic job. It is easy to set up and it has some advanced features ...

This camera is just what I was looking for. It is easy to set up and it has some advanced features which are really not advertised well. I bought the camera hoping it had ONVIF which was not listed as a feature anywhere expect on the box. I was able to connect the camera to my DVR and record, but only video. In order to listen to the audio from the camera or use the mic, I have to use the app for the camera, which is fine by me. The picture comes in very clear even when connecting over the internet. The audio usually lags or does not come through. I have attempted to get my kids attention by talking through it and the audio has only come through about half of the time.

Very good camera for the price

Camera works awesome. I really enjoyed the ease of setting this camera up. They are very user friendly. No special hardware, tools or specialist needed to install them. They automatically take images when they sense sound or movement. The alerts make my family feel secure and safe. For the price, you can't beat these. It's awesome being able to communicate two way from my phone also. The night vision is an added bonus!!

The night vision is fantastic..

Works as described. We use it as a doggie cam to check on our puppy in her crate when we are not home. The night vision is fantastic...she looks like a demon dog with glowing eyes. It's hilarious. We don't use the record feature. At most we'll take a screenshot of her doing something funny but never really use the picture or record features. The app works great. Took a minute to get used to how the camera to pan but now that we found the sweet spot we never move it. You can lock in the camera angle then just use pinch/zoom to zoom in closer. We tried the microphone/speaker once but realized it was mean to talk to her and make her think we were there when we wouldn't be for awhile.

I'm a skeptic when it comes to many hi-tech devices ...

I'm a skeptic when it comes to many hi-tech devices but I'm very impressed by this one. Within an hour I had it working from my I-phone. There is only a slight lag in the commands and the picture is truly hi-def. I'm getting a second one. I added a second camera and installed 32 gb micro SD cards in both. Everything has worked perfectly. I have set-ups on my PC, 2 I-phones and 2 I-pads. I'm using a 5ghz wifi and everything works great.

Best Security Camera for Nursery!!

I love, love, love this camera. The picture quality is excellent and I’m able to move the camera or zoom in on my baby’s face from the comfort of my bedroom. It’s very easy to hook up and installing the app to my phone took like no time at all! I would definitely recommend.

Excellent baby monitor!!!

After soooo much research for a proper baby camera, I was guided to look into the security sector for something really suitable. Thanks to watching many blogs and reading tech articles, this camera stood out to my husband's and my needs. We wanted to be able to access this camera through wifi, from anywhere in the world, have great night-vision, and be able to hear and talk to our baby if needed. This camera has it all! First of all, the image is great and the connection for us/the smooth live feed is just perfect. It is basically in "real-time." Please don't blame the camera is the wifi or connection is not so good where you are. We have a relatively strong wifi signal and have had no complaints. At times, it did stagger, like during a thunderstorm here, but otherwise, it has been very smooth in STANDARD mode. HD mode does lag for us. But we found the quality in standard to already be very sufficient! Now in terms of setting it up: while it looked simple, I just couldn't get it to connect to our wifi at first. While I'm not incredibly savvy, I am sufficiently so and did read the articles/watched videos on Amcrest's site but could not figure it out. So, I contacted their technical support, which is available to every customer and a gentleman, specifically Gary Hyler, was able to remotely access my computer and the camera and set everything up for me and to answer ALL of my questions, while I watched it being done for me on my screen. Honestly, this was priceless support! Everything was up and running in a matter of 20 minutes and I was more than satisfied! I loved this kind of assistance (yes, it was basically somebody holding my hand through the whole process) but I didn't want there to be any mistakes. Honestly, this is an excellent product and we will be buying a second one for baby number 2 who is on his way shortly!

Hands down, best equipment and app

Works perfectly! Set up is super easy! Video quality is amazing! The phone app works great! The desktop interface works great! Night vision is really good even in super low light. The app and desktop interface seem very secure from hackers. Amcrest provides great support. Helped me with a minor issue and haven't had trouble since. I bought and use 2 of them.

This is the best wifi webcam on the market far none!

i have seven Amcrest cameras now and i love them. I set them up for motion detection to send me 5 snapshots to a gmail account named webcam, so i don't clutter up my personal mail. I generally bulk delete them if nothing happened that day, you can always go back 30 days if you need to. I have them in the Garage, basement, back door,utility room,etc. The support is great as well if you need it. I also have a analog dvr with 7 cameras that i'm phasing out, the quality of the cams are only 720 and if you want any information you have to search for it. Melvin
