No more junk connectors from Harbor Freight

These are great connectors, I have been though at least 3 cheaper versions and wish I would have bough this one from the start. Pros: It is fairly heavy feeling with a thick sturdy rubber all they way though. Connectors a tinned, so they will not corrode like the brass\copper ones. The connection feels secure without having to be forced on. It feels the opposite of a plastic like harbor freight knock off. Cons: I can think of none.

Great replacement trailer connector.

Purchased this unit to replace an old unit oon out Tacoma. Typical the ground pin had been broken off the old unit. This new unit appears well made a fit perfect. Fyi, I like to use a bit of dielectric grease on my trailer connectors to keep them working easy for years longer, and prevent the ground pin from being wrenched off due to corrosion and abuse.

Good product at the right price

I like that this product is nearly half what I paid for a similar adapter at Tractor Supply Company. But why is this my third such purchase? Because it tends to fall out of its socket in transit, else it's a popular item to steal, that's why. Now on my third adapter, this time I took some piano wire and semi-permanently attached it to the 7-way mount (male side) on my vehicle.

Just right

Like an idiot I left my factory adapter laying on my rear bumper after disconnecting my trailer a couple months ago. A few days later when I went into the console to use it again, the flashback hit me! I left it on the bumper!!!!! So it's somewhere between here and there I guess. I ordered this one and so far it works just fine.

my camper has a 4 pin, my truck has both a 4 pin and 7 pin round option. One of the female slots in my trucks 4 pin connector is corroded badly preventing all lights from working on the camper. Instead splicing in a new 4 pin I ordered this adapter to slot into the existing 7 pin on the truck. Works great, tight fit. Don't know about durability yet, but cheap enough.

Just what we needed

We have two trailers, one with a 5 pin connector and the other with a 4 pin. The car takes a 7 pin. So we have to have an adapter for each trailer. This 4 to 7 pin is made of good materials. I do appreciate that there is a cover for the 4 pin end to keep it clean while not in use.

Works on 2021 Silverado with Advanced Trailering Package

Worked like a champ on my brand new 2021 LTZ 4WD with Advanced Trailering Package. I plugged it in and connected my utility trailer to it and the system immediately recognized my trailer and walked me through testing the lights and setting up a profile. Great product and I like the ability to secure it with the added tab.

Works great for a 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer

Works great for a 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer. Car comes with standard round trailer plug. This OPT7 adapter is very well made, sturdy; snapped in and holds securely. Four-way flat fits both, my utility and boat trailers. I would recommend this to anyone.
