Love it

Looks amazing on my blacked out car. Easy install and they are good plastic quality. They do get dirty from the elements and can kinda cover up your plate or make it hard to see so be prepared to clean the surface off here and there

I purchased these for a gift for my husband. They are very well made, sturdy, enough of smoked color but still able to see the license plate numbers clearly. I am very pleased with this purchase. Good choice to make your cars plate look better

I was looking for a license plate cover that wasnt too dark but would also make my plate look better than the regular plate. This was perfect for what i was looking for and easy to install. Those that have said that the cover doesnt fit, were more than likely trying to 'stack' both the frame and smoke bubble cover on top of each other. I recommend using one or the other and not both for a perfect fit.

So so results

I love the way these look on my dark grey car. But, the black trim pieces are garbage, I ended up throwing them in the trash because they wouldn't sit flush. Second, these definitely aren't scratch resistant. They came out of the box with fine scratches from rubbing the inside of the box, I was able to polish it out though.Third I had one crack when I was pushing on the black screw covers. However I do like the way they look and apparently so does my wife because she made me order them for her car and the price isn't ridiculous.

Check your state laws

Got pulled over the second day running these would run them again but not worth the hassle unless your state allows it. Gave it to a friend he got pulled over by 4 undercover officers got a warning there....then gets pulled over by state trooper got another warning. Parks on the street for the night gets a nice ticket for 150 dollars 💵

If your looking for something subtle and sleek to put a tint on your licesne plate and cover it, this is it. If your looking for a black frame and black caps to compliment your black car to give it that look and hide silver screws, this is also it. Package came sealed and in perfect condition. Came with simple instructions on how it should be set up. I don’t bring my car through washes , run over put holes , or drive In speeds excess of 120mph. The caps have held up fine for me. Liscnece plate information is still clearly visible in shade and direct sunlight but still tinted enough for a smoked apparence, you will not get in any trouble for these .

Works and looks great, here's a few tips...

Product looks great! Put on my BMW F10 M5. It was a really tight fit due to the rearview camera location just above the rear license plate on the M5. The screws that come with the kit are size M6 screws and are too big, however they will prob fit most domestic vehicles. I just ran to Lowes and picked up some 16mm .8-M5 size screws and it worked perfect on the BMW. Also, be sure to install the small washer underneath of the screw head on top of the license plate cover and frame... if you don't the black screw covers won't secure properly. Without the washer installed they came off very easily. Reinstalled with the washer and they locked into position with a snap and felt secure then. I'm pretty sure this is the reason that most people are commenting about the caps not feeling secure bc they elected to not install the small washer underneath the screw head which is how the product is designed to work (also shown in the instructions). Looks dark enough to me and my vehicle is very dark. Any darker and I think it would start to look kiddish.

These look great. Since my windows are tinted, it adds a finished touch as do the 4 cap-covers over the screws. There was a crack in one of the shields, but it aligns with a letter on the plate so it doesn't show. However, it could be an indicator that the shield is fragile and/or an issue with shipping. I also found I didn't need/use all of the bolts supplied. The directions could have been clearer as to options of assembling.

Worth the money

My boyfriend had these originally and when I bought my car I wanted them. They are super dark so you won’t have a problem with police and they are just the right tint good quality so far!

Sleek

I had no idea how to install it with all the parts. There is a good chance I did it wrong but my plates haven't fallen off yet and it's been over a month. These make my car look sleek and nice. I recommend them for sure. Besides not knowing what all the parts were for, I did also crack the plate when putting it on. It didnt crack in to pieces, more like internal cracking so I can see its durable. These are the only downsides to the plate. But I'm also not the brightest with this stuff so dont base your decision off if this! I still highly recommend these!
