You will love this KVM too

Installed this KVM switch for my Windows 7 PC and it works great with my wired Keyboard and Mouse，Everything has been smooth. Couple of things can be made more clear before buying would be ideal: 1. You need to buy USB-B cables and HDMI cables separately. NO cables included in the package. 2. The keyboard hotkey to switch between desktops is done by pressing SCROLL LOCK twice+port number. BUT you must press it with a 1 second pause in between the two presses (at least for me), If you press it too slow or too fast,then It can not switch successfully.

This KVM works exactly as I hoped it would.

This KVM works exactly as I hoped it would. I have three computers connected to this so far: One Thinkpad dock connected through DVI to HDMI. One Thinkpad dock connected through Displayport to HDMI. One Android box connected through HDMI to HDMI. The output is connected through HDMI to DVI driving the monitor at 1920x1200. Switching between computers only takes about a second, and I do not see anything crazy happening when I switch. It is heavy enough, and has rubber feet, so it does not slide around when I press a button. I do not have the power supply hooked up, it works fine drawing its power from the USB ports of the computers. It comes with 4 standard HDMI cables, 4 standard USB cables, and a wired mouse. I've only been using this a few days, so I'll update this review if anything changes.

Great KVM Switch, I would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic KVM switch. Sturdy and solid, the switch has a small footprint so it can be placed on your desktop or on a small shelf if needed. The cables that come with it are good quality and it works great. The mouse that came with it was a surprise to me. Although I haven't used it yet, it appears fairly cheap and light weight. It wasn't expected however so it's just a bonus. Overall great KVM switch and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone. It lets you quickly switch flawlessly from one device to another. Great buy. Initially quality but breaks after a few months

Quit impressed. Came with 4 sets of cable, setup was pretty straightforward. I'm using it with a mac and a pc right now and switching from one to the other is pretty smooth....not noticed any irritating lags. Wish the power cable was longer but still will give it 6 stars! UPDATE: barely 6months and this thing is already faulty. The HDMI port works no more. UPDATE: the seller replaced with a new device which presently works great.

This is working out great for me

This is working out great for me. I have one system in my observatory which has three monitors and another system for controlling a radio telescope which just supports one. This HDMI KVM switch allows me to seemlessly switch one monitor between both systems. With this switch I can avoid adding a fourth monitor to an already crowded control room.

I highly recommend JideTech as they certainly take care of their customers.

I had a previous 4 Port HDMI KVM switch that I was not happy with. I was contacted by JideTech and was told there was an updated unit and was asked if I wanted a replacement. I said, of course. They promptly sent the new unit. I have installed it and it is works great! Much better than the older unit and better than comparable units.

A KVM worth every cent.

Excellent product, very easy to use and delivers exactly what is promised. The casing is metal and the buttons are solid. This is one of the best KVMs I have ever owned

Great HDMI KVM!

I have to say I'm very pleased with the quality of this KVM. I was a little hesitant ordering as I've only used "name brands" professionally, however, this was for home use so I decided to take the chance; for the price, it was certainly worth a shot. As you can imagine, it's a KVM, so it's not very exciting, that said - this is EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. I'm currently using it to split my 2nd computer display between an Amazon FireTV, a PC, and an XBOX while I try to think of something else I can stick here! I intend to use the last port for the occasional home troubleshooting I do on the side as most PC's these days have at least 1 HDMI output. The included software was easy enough to installed and configured (it's required for the mouse switching). It's nice to have the option to switch with the mouse, however, I am a kb guy and will probably not use it very frequently. The build quality is right up there amongst the brands I've used before, maybe a tad better even. Personally or professionally, when the need arises for another such KVM (or more ports even), I would definitely recommend one of these JideTech units. My unit shipped with 4 seemingly high quality HDMI and USB cords for each of the channels and there was an added bonus that I did not see mentioned in the product description of a compatible wireless mouse! This was a nice surprise as I'm sure most who have used these devices before know that they can be very pick as to what if any wireless mouse they play nicely with. It's a relief to have the guess work removed and to be provided with a mouse that works out of the box! As for the mouse (pictured in the review), it's a basic ergonomic mouse that gives a good hand feel and well, it works as it should. I'm not gaming with it so it more than suits my needs. tl;dr - great and well priced KVM, would recommend, would (probably will) buy again

Good KVM, everything you need in the box

I went through a couple of units on amazon prior to this one, they were kludgy, and limited by the cable combos being built in. The JideTech comes with 5 HDMI and 4 USB cables and a power supply. It seemed to power of USB just fine though. I use it at 1080P with a Macbook pro and a PC. No issues. There maybe some keyboard support issues with certain keyboards but I'm ok here. I just use the unit's buttons to switch machines, no keystrokes.
