Wonderful globe! I like the quality

Wonderful globe! I like the quality, the size, and the colors. The quality is good. Before this one, I purchased another globe and had to return it because the base was broken. This one is much more sturdy. The size is big. I can clearly see the names of cities, countries, constellations etc. The colors are so bright and beautiful. This is a really good item. Like it very much!

My grandkids love this globe

My grandkids love this globe. They are 5 and 10 years old and have lived in South America. We live in Germany. With this globe they can get a better understanding of the many countries of the world. The compass and ebook are great too. But, most of all the quality is the best. GetLifeBasics's owners have made a very useful and beautiful globe.

We're very happy we purchased this globe for our home. It is a great conversation piece and we're teaching our grand-kids how to locate countries and be aware of the celestial stars specific for our region. One thing: we did not receive the e-book reader as indicated it would be part of the packaging. The compass is awesome.

I love the product

I purchased a globe from GetLifeGasics recently, I love the product, works great and good quality. I didn't receive some of the parts for it but I contacted them via email, they responded quickly and did not hesitate to fix the problem. Customer service was great, very easy to deal with.

Yes, I love this, it's sets on a dark corner desk and everyone who walks in that room comments on it. I've never even been that interested in the constellations , except when I was a teenage, but not it's all come back to be. I love searching them out again.

It was actually the most beautiful globe I had ever seen

I got this globe for my grandson's 10th birthday. It was the hit of the party! Every child there wanted to examine it. They were very curious about how the world really looked and to see all the star constellations. It was actually the most beautiful globe I had ever seen. I've had a globe before and looked at several others, this is a remarkable globe, I just received it, I haven't looked at the illuminated function, but judging from what I've seen of the globe so far, I know I will be happy with it, can't wait for the grandchildren to see it. I was hemming and hawing about the cost, I am glad I decided to go with this one. It is well worth the cost.

WONDERFUL keepsake gift !!!

This was a 'keepsake' gift for a family member turning 30. The world changes...I wish I had one from my youth. Countries that exist today did not then. He LOVED it ! It is beautiful and i will undoubtedly purchase one for myself after the holidays. The globe lives in his living room and serves also as a gorgeous nightlight.

Good sized and good quality globe.

The globe arrived in good condition. I opted for this size as opposed to smaller versions (9") from other sellers, and it is as I remembered from my childhood. I think the print and detail on a smaller globe would be compromised. It has a glossy, attractive finish, and illuminates well at night. This is a Xmas present for my 5 and 7 year old granddaughters who have a plethora of dolls (for which I'm a guilty contributor). I thought this holiday I'd go in a different direction. With our shrinking world, thanks to ease of travel and technology, it seems appropriate to offer them a small scale image of "where it's all happening". The globe is pricey, but if it lasts through their school years, I'd say it's worth it.
