High quality with great polished finish.

These frames are not flimsy and look great on my 2019 Acura RDX. I used the screws that were already on the car which worked well, as the ones that came with the frames did not seem to have enough diameter for a good fit. The chromed plastic screw caps do snap on securely if you apply enough thumb pressure until you hear a "Snap" sound. Once I heard the snap sound I could no longer pull off the caps with my fingers. Checking for this will help to keep from loseing the caps. You should also use a adequate spacer like a washer (nylon or stainless) between the back of the licence plate and car on each screw so the plate frame does not contact and scratch the cars finish. I would but this again.

Perfect fit

Perfect fit, the die cast border of the license plate drops perfectly into the frame. I used security bolts and bolted the plate to the frame (the bolts keep the fram from bending) then mounted the frame and plate to the car using locking nuts. This is a must have for vanity plates.

Moved from California to Wisconsin -- Tags on Bottom!

When I moved to Wisconsin I didn't realize my old plate frame would cover my registration tags. I bought this plate and it worked perfectly. Shows the tags, and looks very clean. I installed using my old hardware. The hardware that came with the plates are not useless, but I didn't want to drill any new holes into my car. My old hardware worked fine however. Inexpensive, and looks good!

Very Nice Frame, includes all necessary hardware

I was looking for a decorative plate frame. Did not want a cheaply made one, or one with a message. These looked good on the Amazon page so I took a chance. The order was shipped promptly, arrived in good condition. Took them out of the box to inspect and noticed they came with excellent hardware for mounting. Each frame had 4 machine screws and nuts, 4 self tapping screws, 4 plastic inserts to use with the square holes some plate holders have, 4 foam pads to prevent rattles, and 4 sets of chrome screw covers. Another additional "feature" is that the frame does not cover any text or numbers on the license plate. A sure way to get hassled by law enforcement is to have a plate frame that blocks any part of the plate. The metal of the frame is thicker than most of the same type. It is thinner than a cast metal plate, but much thicker than the type usually stamped out. It also has tabs to keep the plate captured in the frame. The frame is polished Stainless Steel and looks chrome like. It should last a long while. Much better than a plastic frame too. So if you are looking for a chrome License plate frame, I recommend this. Heavy construction, includes all the hardware you may need and even includes a screwdriver. Good Deal!

NEEDS SPACERS read below

I bought these to use as protection for my utility trailer's license plate. In that respect they are exactly what I required. Good quality moderately sturdy. I did buy a 3/16" aluminum spacer to prevent the edge from gouging the paint. The 3/16" spacer works for me but most will need a nylon washer underneath the spacer to prevent paint scratching. I chose an aluminum spacer because unlike plastic and nylon, it will not compress (squish) over time. Amazon sells these spacers. Search for, Round Spacer, Aluminum, Plain Finish. Select the size you need, just keep in mind the height of the plate holder edge at its highest point is .187 inches. (the bottom where the plate stay tabs are) That is just shy of 3/16" or .1875. BE CAREFUL !!!! ... be certain to bend the license plate holder stay tabs in until flush and not sticking up. (a very slight bend, be gentle) Otherwise the tab edges will scratch your paint.

Very good quality and easy to install.

Excellent quality. Easy to install and all of the hardware necessary is supplied in the box. After probably a dozen automatic carwashes to both cars on which these are installed, there is no degradation of the chrome, no pitting, no scratching from the spinny cloth things. Nothing. They just continue to look great. The narrow border allows all features of my Indiana license plates to show through. The other general style of frame covers up the military veteran logo and part of the expiration date. There are cheaper frames out there but these are not expensive and they seem to be holding up quite well. I'm very pleased.

Simply looks great

This product is excellent. Its well made, arrives quickly and is a real value. The look will perk up any car's appearance. This is my fourth purchase, got one for each of my kid's cars. I have had zero installation problems, and have had no use for the extra mounting hardware that is supplied to support a variety of mounting needs. I have not cut myself at all on these, as others have. Just a good quality, solid product, that installs easily, and seems to last without any wear issues.

Nice License Plate Frame

Don't have much to add except to say I'm happy with my purchase. The frames are well made and you get plenty of extra hardware to accommodate different mounting scenarios. There is also a slot in the back of the frame that the plate fits into so you can only use two mounting screws (top or bottom) if you don't have four on your vehicle. My only concern is the caps popping off (something I've experienced with other frames), but they seem well secured.

quick shipping. look great. comes with all the tools, screws, caps, and whatever else you'll need to install these license plate frames. seem to be heavy enough that they don't bend easily. nice slim bezel doesn't cover up any required license plate data (state name, county sticker, or registration tag) - so you won't get in trouble with the law for using these. frame is definitely metal - stainless steel with a chrome polish. the screw head caps are plastic - but that's ok - and i don't know if you could even make them out of metal. look great - easy to install!

Upgrades the look of an old car!

This is the second set I've bought. You know what my pet peeve is? When you're on the road and you see these nice cars that you know people spent a lot of money on...but you look at their license plate frame and it's the cheapo one they drove off the car sales lot that is still advertising for them. You did your job by buying the car! No need to keep advertising. My car is a used, old car, but replacing the old license plate frame makes it looks so much nicer! So don't be lazy and just replace it! It's super easy to do and they give you the bolts and screw.
