New puppy got to my PS4 controller and completely tore off the rubber on the thumbsticks and also chewed on them quite a bit. Not too fun to play with that way so I was looking for nice and cheap covers and found these. They look great and they actually feel better than the originals, I like the nubs that are all over the top. Only downside is they're a little loose but that's because there's no rubber underneath and I was expecting that. They don't come off though, I just can twist them around which is no big deal.

Works great for us

Like others, my original PS4 controllers' grips were shredding. We had one partially torn off, and others just starting to crack open. These covers popped on over all of them fairly easily, and have been working fine ever since. Nothing has slipped around or fallen off. We are not heavy users however, so ymmv. I purchased these largely to keep the kids' friends from picking off more of the original covers, since they were the main culprits.

Great way to restore old Playstation controllers

I have two Dualshock 4 controllers, one from early 2014 and another from 2015. Both had started to wear down the rubber coating on the left stick so that the hard plastic was poking through. The rubber coating would slip around and make it hard to control the stick, so I was extremely happy to find these covers for a fraction of the price for a new DS4. I installed these covers over a year ago and they are still holding up well after daily use including the occasional drop (angry throw) to the floor. The covers still feel very secure and do not slide around on the thumbstick even though they are attached without any adhesive.

These fit on my xbox one controller well and don't slip off. I'm not the type to press against my control sticks really hard but then again they wont slip of that easy. i've looked every where for cheap and decent stick covers and I wasn't disappointed with these.

A must have! Used on my PS4 controller

I can't believe I waited years before buying these. What a difference they make on grip control! My hands tend to sweat a little bit when playing, and the thumb pad on my PS4 controller slips just a little bit, but enough to be annoying and uncomfortable. When playing multiplayer online, that slight slip can be the difference between a headshot and a complete miss. These are well worth the money!

A Must for Fishing in RDR2

These grips make PS4 life SO much easier. I didn’t realize how useful they could be! Even if you don’t feel like you need a better grip on the joysticks, once these are on (admittedly a bit difficult/fiddly) you’ll be amazed at how much better the controller handles. I bought more just in case I lose one!

Save Your Controllers People

If you play video games like I do, you wear through controllers pretty quick. Especially the rubber on the joysticks. And one you get down to that plastic under the rubber, your controller is pretty much trash. So these, are a good investment. And this set in particular are much better than others I have tried. Goes on fairly easy and they stay on well without adhesive and if you need to you can use a little adhesive just to give some extra stick, though you really don't need to. Worth the money, especially considering controllers are now around $60. Save your controllers people.

Yay Nubs

I have an aggressive left thumb that tore half the rubber off my joystick of my PS4 controller. Once I got them on I didn't even realize it's there. Stays nice and tight even with half the old rubber there and half torn off down to the plastic. This cover grips similar to the regular rubber, don't really notice the little bumps (probably a good thing). High recommend if the rubber is damaged on your joysticks.

Perfect for the ps4

Bought these little thumb savers to do their part. Were shipped out and arrived in no time. I was a little hesitant of how "like a glove" they would be so I put some gorilla krazie glue on there. They feel great and are a huge upgrade to what I had. Clean up a old controller real nicely.
