I got this lightboard for artwork while it was on sale for around $27- and I absolutely love it. It shipped swiftly, and arrived in a wonderful box with foam end protectors that I have kept to store it in between uses. There are some previous review issues I'd like to clarify; * The brightness is amazing! I have been able to trace through legalpad yellow paper underneath 110lb cardstock and 140lb watercolor paper (shown in the image is 90lb watercolor paper). For the best drawing results, I reccomend printing out a sketch, for computer ink shows through with spectacular results. * The brightness button is NOT as sensitive as people say. I wonder if they are trying to shove it, like a tactile button, which causes it to register touch for longer. As long as you gently touch it, like a smartphone screen, it is simple to control. * I have NOT had the issue with turning it on or off by simply 'grazing' the button during use. It won't turn off at random unless you slam the button or unplug it. * While it does not come with a USB plug adapter, the chord is several feet long and able to be used on my computer desk, with the USB end plugged into my desktop. There is more than enough room for it to comfortably reach. And if you want a plug, if you have an Android phone plug adapter, that will work. * I have had no problems with where the small end plugs into the box. I am sad some got a defective model where it fell out right away, but my connection has been consistent every time. All in all, this board is a wonderful, portable size for smaller traditional artwork. It is easy to store, not a pain to look at, and a wonderful deal for the price I got it. Absolutely reccomended for artists!

I purchased this light box for two reasons. First, because I needed a light source for foundation paper piecing quilting. It was increasingly difficult to lift up paper and fabric with any accuracy. I also copy patterns for leather stamping/carving. I especially like that the light itself is adjustable. I also chose this particular model because I don't use it a lot, so I really didn't need a rechargeable battery model. For the price, it's well made and can sit in your lap without getting hot. Before I even received it, there was a very nice email from the company explaining the warranty and encouraging me to contact them with any questions I had. That being said, I highly recommend it.

This lightpad has changed my artistic life (no exaggeration). The light is an excellent brightness and a perfect workable size, and it's very thin + light. I've used it several times already and it's been wonderful!

I originally bought this to trace outlines onto fabric, but have yet to use it for that purpose. I have, however, used it to trace pictures onto paper for some of my craft projects, and it works wonderfully. It is thin but not flimsy. Light weight so if you need to carry it from place to place (like I do) it isn't a pain. I love how the power button can be used with a small touch and also if you press it for a few seconds it acts as a dimmer. I will definitely be buying another for my son so he can use it for his tattoo artist apprenticeship.

I ordered this product because of its reviews and "# 1 Best Seller" status. I believe the product to be good however upon receiving my new product it looked liked I received a used or returned item. It came with scratches all over the face. The only reason my husband and I figured this out is b/c he wanted to look at the product before I wrapped it. The box had never been opened until this point! Being that this was a Christmas present, I can do nothing but give it "as is" and explain. Wish me luck on giving this scratched up product to our artist. UPDATE : THERE WAS A FILM THAT I DID NOT DETECT NEEDING TO BE REMOVED

This is one of the cheapest options you find on Amazon for a light box. I wanted to use one to scan my film negatives with my DSLR, and this Light box works perfectly for it. This basically is not a box, it's so thin, so lightweight. The light is very even and I got some awesome results scanning my first negatives with this (see picture). I definitely recommend this product.

I bought this light board as an alternative to the expensive Cricut Bright Pad, and I am very pleased with how it works. It's thin and light and does exactly what it is supposed to. There have been some reviews stating that the internal workings at the usb connection have come out or that it seemed faulty or weak, but that has not been my experience, however I am VERY careful when unplugging, just in case. There have also been some negative reviews concerning trouble adjusting the brightness level and that it is too bright. Again, not my experience. Touching the power sensor once turns it on full, holding your finger to the touch panel causes it to reduce the brightness level, and touching it once again without holding will turn it off. It is simple once you figure it out. It is very bright on the high setting, but that's a whole lot better than being too dim, in my opinion. What's in the box: the light board, a usb cable, several sheets of "tracing" paper, documentation. The sample "tracing paper" is actually tissue paper, which I would think would be hard to draw on as it's not as smooth as actual tracing paper, but as I am into mixed media, I can find a use for it. Overall, it's a great product so far, and for the price point I would say definitely worth it. If you are the crafty sort, you can create your own lightboard, but this is convenient and would cost around the same amount of money as making your own.

I bought this light box tracer for a calligraphy project. I had promised to address wedding invitations and using the easy approach on making light pencil lines on the stationary and erasing was not an option. I placed a lined paper inside each envelope and used A4 Ultra-thin Portable Light Box to illuminate the lines through the envelopes. It worked like a charm. The light box is a very good size, adjustable to a bright level and very portable. I would like to note that when I received my initial light box it had a problem powering it up. I do not know if it was a power connection problem or a switch problem. I contacted Tikteck customer support and flagged the problem. They were back with me immediately.. They arranged a replacement in no time. I have had no issues with the replacement. My project was completed way ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this light pad and their customer support team.

So amazing this thin piece of glass is so bright. Use for tracing hand embroidery patterns onto cotton fabric. Light shows pattern through computer paper with design and lightweight interface ironed onto back of fabric. It even shows though very dark fabric. Can control brightness with touch of a finger.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: Exactly as expected USE CASE: Review film negatives Received this today so my review doesn't is not concerned with durability or reliability, though I'll endeavor to update it if either becomes an issue. The light is suitably bright for reviewing my film negatives. The surface illuminates uniformly, having no visible screen or pattern visible under 8x magnification. (See accompanying photo.) The quality of the light is very blue; I don't have a color measurement but it's definitely not a neutral or balanced white. My color managed monitor appears yellow when comparing a full white screen side-by-side to this light board. (Monitor white point is set to 6500k and calibrated with Datacolor Spyder 5.) The surface is glossy and slick with no texture, and overall it's very thin: approximately 6mm. The weight is within expectation; it doesn't feel overly heavy or so lightweight that durability would be questionable.
