I have a bad back and I like to photograph flowers, macro style. when I get my Canon 7D down low, I can't see through the viewfinder very well at all. The right angle viewfinder is a big benefit to me when I am trying to line up a shot and it saves on pain pills which I use enough with other problems. Highly recommended even if you don't have back problems.

Perfect for the $. I'm sure the nikon factory has a slight edge, but for $32, it completely met my expectations. I originally purchased this to help aim my Star Adventurer star tracker, but instantly found myself putting it on my camera as well. This really surprised me, as I never intended to use it on my camera. The 2x setting is also more useful than I expected, and it very clear. The included adaptors worked with my nikon and my wife's canon cameras. I was able to use one of the adaptors to make and very nice "homebrew" mount for my star tracker. Highly recommended IF you understand it's a $32 right angle veiwer, not an almost $200 nikon unit.

Simply put, my Canon EOS3 camera can use one of these adapters (22mm) , xomes with a total of 6 adapters (I can't tell them, and I just try one by one when I need to change another cam Lol). It is very clear and does not affect visibility at all in 1x settings. With this right angle viewfinder, I don't need to bend down so low. A great buy.

I noticed some reviewers commenting on the 2.5x not working properly....I believe the purpose of the 2.5x is to help set the focus when using the MANUAL FOCUS camera setting (for older, non-auto focus lenses, etc.)….which works fine, as long as you use only a very small % at the center of the viewfinder image to determine "in-focus" ignoring the surrounding area which looks very distorted and out of focus no matter what you do. I've found, the best way to get an accurate focus in that center area is to first use an auto-focus lens...push the shutter button half way so the image is fixed "in-focus".... then while switched to the 2.5x setting, use the "viewfinder adjust dial" on the camera body to sharpen the center of the image....from then on, it will determine an accurate "in-focus" within that 2.5x center area no matter what lens you use, Manual, or otherwise. I hope this helps you appreciat this device with it's inherent limitations ...I'm afraid that's as good as it gets, even with more expensive ones.

I don’t normally write Amazon reviews, but I wanted to point out that there has been a lot of misunderstanding / misinformation around the 2X and 3.2 X modes of these low-cost right angle DSLR view finders here on Amazon. The higher magnification settings work just fine. With your DSLR in Autofocus mode, first adjust your DSLR’s built-in optical viewfinder diopter (i.e. like an objective lens) to get as close to in-focus as possible, and then adjust the right angle finder’s focusing control (i.e. like a focusing lens). The 3.2 X magnification mode on this Neewer unit actually provides a really nice, wide sweet spot of in-focus range, and looks great here on my Canon EOS 80D. The only issue is that there’s no instructions included telling you how to do what I described above.

good accessory to have had some initial problems with my Sony alpha but then worked them out

I bought this for my Nikon D610 so that I could photograph the 2017 eclipse earlier this year in Idaho. It worked great when mounting the camera on a tripod and doing shots of the sun with an eclipse filter. It is also useful for shooting landscapes from a very low position on the ground without getting uncomfortable in a low position near the ground. The price is great and it is very will built so I can highly recommend it. You can purchase it without concern.

I am a big fan of this view finder for multiple reasons. I love shooting the stars at night now that i live in the mountains, but before i purchased the view finder, i always had cramps in my neck after about 20 minutes. Now i can shoot all night long without having to worry about any cramps or pains. I also love that it has a x2 option which really helps when I am trying to pin point a location in the sky. The optics are nice and it is very easy to attach.

Great tool to have in my collection. The view finder plays a solid role in my day to day photography now. It makes life a ot easier when I am laying down or in a cramped up position taking pictures of mushrooms or the ocasional beetle. I also love the 2x option that is avalible at the touch of a slide. This viewfinder makes shooting so much easier than it has ever been. Very glad to have found this product.

Crazy price, I did not notice that this price contains two viewfinders! Currently I only use one of them, and the other is used as a backup. I often need to kneel on the ground, this viewfinder helps me present a new creative dimension. The seller has done a great job on this product and should not be complained!
