Wanna Stop Camera Shake Noises?

This case is great, feels like what should've came with a GP in the first place. I bought this, and one other underwater case, to figure out how to stop that annoying camera shake noise that happens any time the gopro's direction changes. Here's what you do (after much research and other methods) -Get electrical tape. -Wrap top left corner with a few cycles of tape; enough to where the camera will fit snugly without too much force. -You're done. It's not a perfect solution, but it vastly cuts down on the shakenoise, without covering the mic or any other crazy solutions.

Great substitute for the manufacturer's housing/case at a much lower price!

+Nice rubber material +Much easier to open and close the lid to remove and insert my GoPro Hero 5 than the original frame. +It covers the microphone ports but my audio still sounds clean whenever I record; maybe even cleaner than outside the case because it's covered so I guess it blocks the wind. +The rubber material feels much better in my hand than GoPro's plastic housing. +The fastener/bolt is easier to loosen and tighten with the wings it has. -I had some third party attachments(head grip, chest grip, monopod, etc.) before purchasing this and attaching this housing to it is a bit difficult due to the bottom piece not going all the way down for the bolt to fit into the hole. -Some of my LEDs are covered so it's a bit hard to tell if my GoPro Hero 5 is charging or not. I have to set it in an angle or turn the camera on to confirm but this is minor. Great Product!

Nice underwater housing, worked as advertised.

Took this product to a beach vacation with a lot of underwater activities. Used with a GoPro Hero 7 Black. The housing worked great. Easy to open and close, water tight to about 10 feet (that the deepest I dove). Used this product about 8 times during the trip. Did rinse and dry with fresh water after each use. Materials were of good quality. Took underwater photos and videos with and without the light pink filter—-did not make a big difference in color in shallow (<15 feet) water when using a GoProHero 7 with normal video settings: 1040p and 60fps. Video and pictures came out great in and out of water. Note that you cannot control the GoPro with the rear touch screen with the housing, but the buttons worked great, and kept the GoPro dry. For the money, an excellent product.

A must for snorkeling

Just got back from 12 days on Maui, used this almost daily. Rinsed off the salt water every day after use. If you are going to use the GoPro 7 for snorkeling or mild diving, you absolutely have to have this or another filter system. The video and photos you take will suck without it due to the way light is filtered underwater. I thought this item was well made and extremely useful. I saw some mild rusting near the hinge but just a little. Might not hold up for daily ocean use for very long, but I live in Oregon and have no need to snorkel here because it's freezing andv sharks and all! I recommend the product, especially if you are going on a vacation and want to make the best use of your GoPro.

Great for testing the waters ;)

Took this on my first snorkeling trip with my new GoPro. It was easy to use, felt secure, and the filters really helped get rid of the blue hue of the ocean.

I have used this on 15 scuba dives and it has held up

I really liked the value of the package. You get the dive housing plus the filters you would need for underwater diving in various conditions. The quality seems good, and I haven't had any issues with it on any of my dives. The lens filters are easy to mount and tie down so you don't lose them with the included tassels.

No issues with this mount!

I had read the other reviews after I ordered this. Seeing that some of the commenters stated no microphone holes, not very tight, and the mount doesn't fit "official" accessory mounts without drilling to modify the mount tabs. I bought two of these for each of my modern era GoPro cameras and I can say with all honesty that none of these "defects" are present. The open port on the side which allows you to open the door and charge the camera without removal from the housing is the primary reason I bought these. If I didn't know better and these came in a "GoPro" branded package I wouldn't have known any different. All microphone ports are present. A speaker port is present. The mode and shutter buttons of the CAMERA are available through open ports, doing away with GoPro's rubber "button pusher" in the GoPro frame which in my experience sometimes results in missed button presses. This frame is more like the CNC aluminum frame I have with open button ports and mic and speaker ports - only much lighter. The mounting tabs fit both "official GoPro" and 3rd party aftermarket mounts and I have MANY and VARIED mounts from a 3rd party gimbal, to the GoPro Seeker 2 backpack and its built in mounts, scene lapse rotator, Smatree extendable selfie stick and Smatree's answer to GoPro's 3 way, floater grips, two variations of GoPro's Chesty, and the chest mount that came with the Seeker backpack. All fit. No issues. The clamp to close the frame feels as strong as the original. For the price this is less than half the price of the official GoPro frame and offers the advantages of ports for both buttons, and the ability to open the charge and HDMI port door without removal from the frame. Two thumbs up!

Perfect frame for use in the truck

I bought this frame specifically for the ability to open the USB port door while mounted and it meets my needs perfectly. There could be a little more clearance to allow easier door open but for 1/4 the price of the brand-name and the design that allows me to power the camera form USB while mounted in my truck and not have to pullover to change batteries every hour this is perfect. I'll likely still use the OEM frame for anything around water since it forces all the doors to be sealed before insert but this is a very welcome addition to my accessories bag.

Super nice kit that not only comes with the filters but a CASE TOO!

This is a super nice case for our GoPro Hero 7 (Black) that we bought. We ordered the camera bundle (see my other review) and a separate Kupton case, plus these filters. I was surprised to find that this was not only the filters but ALSO the case...the same Kupton case that we ordered, so we returned that extra case. The filters snap onto the front of the case very firmly, which is great. Each filter comes with a little string lanyard that you slip through an eyelet on the filter and tie into a knot. Insert the loop of the string into the hinge when you install the GoPro onto a stick, mount, etc. That will keep the filter from being lost if you remove it from the housing. The kit comes with three filters. We were not initially sure what filter you use and when. Here’s the guidance we found: LIGHT RED filter for snorkel depth water 2-15 feet and color correction in blue water or clear freshwater. RED FILTERD for scuba and free dive depth water 15-85 feet and color correction in blue water or tropical seawater. MAGENTA FILTER for depth water 7-70 feet and color correction in freshwater appearing green at more than 7 feet. We found that the magenta filter worked great for our diving photos. It brings back the red that is lost underwater at depth. This kit also comes with some anti-fog inserts. They prevent fogging of the lens in cold and humid environments inside the GoPro housing. They work with all GoPro cameras and other cameras and housing systems. They are reusable. The inserts can be used multiple times, just oven bake to dry out. Overall, we are very happy with this kit. For the price, you cannot beat it. You get a case PLUS the three filters.
