Great device!

I bought this for my kids' bathroom so they can see the toilet better at night. Though the toilet bowl effect was cool, I decided to hang it on the towel rack next to the toilet instead because with the toilet seat up and the section of the bowl it needed to be hung, it would have gotten pee'd on real fast and probably wouldn't have been able to survive. The amount of light at night is perfect and the device itself, works great! I think it'd also be ideal to travel with, hotel bathroom lights are too bright in the middle of the night and like it does at home, this would provide the perfect amount of light when you get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Not sure how the battery life will be but so far, so good. Update: 8 months later and still working as well as the day it arrived, only had to replace the batteries once and it is used daily.

Love this light! Super cool AND really works!

My husband and I absolutely love this product :-) We decided not to use it on the actual toilet bowl itself due to the fact that we saw a prior post where others hung the LumiLux over the toilet paper holder (thx guys) and it works very well! The light turns on in the dark with a motion in front of the sensor and stays on for a bit :-) I highly recommend this product! I don't leave reviews often but this definitely seemed worth mentioning, obviously, considering I decided to actually take pictures and post them LOL. Just saying, it's nice..... also we just let the light cycle through and don't set it on one color because it's kind of nice when it just changes from color to color

Best toilet light for taking a dump!

Best toilet night Like you can buy exclamation I cannot take a dump without turning the lights on and wake it up by stupid wife. You can change the colors on it and it’s very sensitive he can see you in the dark walking and moving around. Literally the sensor is so amazing.

Highly recommend this product!

I know there are less expensive units and, even though this is the only unit I've owned, I can't imagine the others work as well as this one. I'm the type who'd rather spend a little more for something that lasts and works well than repeatedly buy lesser quallity products. I'm a disabled man who can't stand while using the toilet. I purchased this product due to my bad habit of getting up in the middle of the night and using the bathroom without turning on the light. However I often didn't aim well when I went to sit down, the result of which can be chilling if not dangerous. This product has been a blessing and has definitely improved my life. The product works just as described, the motion sensor works perfectly, I allow it to morph from color to color, and it turns off shortly after I exit. As to power consumption, I purchased this unit on 11/14/17 and just had to replace the batteries for the first time on 5/23/18. I now consider this product a necessity for my needs but, even if I didn't, it's much more pleasant to use the bathroom at night because I avoid the shock I'd experience from my bathroom's bright lighting and can get back to sleep more quickly afterward as a result. If you're considering this type of product, I highly recommend this one. 5/17/19 UPDATE: Received notice from Amazon re: the no. of helpful votes I've gotten for this product. Decided to read some of the reviews and felt I should update mine. I'm on my 3rd set of batteries and haven't experienced any of the issues set out in the negative reviews I read. Mine's as solid and works as well as the day it was purchased, 11/14/17. All products have a failure rate but mine hasn't hit it's yet. I mean this product is so well made that it makes me wonder how many of the one star reviews might be from competitors who were losing sales .... just a cynical thought.

Late Night Bathroom Trips Made Easy

I have the world's smallest bladder and I often have to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I don't have to fuss to find the light. The sensor kicks in very quickly and I easily see where the toilet is . I have it on rotating color setting. The sensor doesn't come on until it starts to get darker in apartment (evening-ish). The light is strong, but not overwhelming or harsh. Very good purchase.

Where has this been all my life?

Calming, creepy, soothing, eerie, beautiful, functional, needed. It’s strangely satisfying to enter into the bathroom in the dead of night and see the brilliant blue light glowing from between the lid and the seat. And to lift the lid and be greeted by a welcoming portal of soft brilliant light to guide you to intended target; magic.

Stop the Wife from Complaining

Like most men, a happy wife is a happy life. Well in the middle of the night, my wife complained that I don't quite have the right aim. Certainly, the wife and I share chores but the bathroom is all hers. The fact is, I don't like turning on the bathroom light in the middle of the night. However, I thought to myself How can I contribute to easing the complaints of my wife....I saw this product and gave it a try. Now when at 2am and it's time, I can clearly see where to go to keep me and the wife happy. The fact this product changes colors is an awesome bonus. ps. She likes it so much, she wants me to buy her one too!

No more lights/fan at night!

Funny story...my new apartment has the bathroom fan wired directly into the light switch (no way to turn off the fan when the lights come on). This little thing allows me to use the bathroom at night without the need to turn on the lights and loud fan!! Perfect amount of light and love the multitude of colors.
