Effective in removing makeup, even the waterproof eyeliners. I have super sensitive skin and I also have an old eye injury so it was important that I got a makeup remover that didn't irritate my skin especially around the eye area. I'm glad I gave this a shot. It didn't leave a nasty residue on my skin either but I still wash my face after removing makeup anyway. Most importantly, it didn't sting my eye if I accidently got some in there. A little bit goes a long way.

Zero Stinging (Even with Contacts In)

I'm surprised this doesn't have an overall 5-star rating. It removes eye makeup as promised, and there is literally zero stinging. Maybe it's because I wear contacts, but I find that even the stuff that claims to be gentle causes a tiny bit of discomfort. That is not the case with this - it's like water. No matter how much I use, I don't feel a thing. Another bonus is my skin does not feel greasy afterwards (I'm always amazed by how slick my skin feels after using eye makeup remover, even those that advertise as oil free). I am very happy with this product.

I’m Now a believer in makeup remover!

I used to subscribe to the Sephora box and BirchBox, so I’ve tried quite a few makeup removers. None have really worked that well for me. This Cetaphil one was on sale on Amazon and I thought I might as well try it! It works so well! It doesn’t just smear your eye makeup all over - it actually lets you just wipe it away!

This is the best makeup remover I have ever used. I was a little nervous at first, thinking it would leave my face really oily, but it didn’t! I used it all over, not just on the eyes, and it actually moisturizes without leaving an oily residue. It really removes all the dirt I don’t get off with my Clarisonic.

Gentle and removes my non-waterproof eye makeup!

I use this on a cotton pad to remove my eyeliner and mascara. This works really great and feels very gentle and doesn't sting my eyes. Previously, I was using Sephora eye makeup remover and it stung my eyes. I haven't tried this on the rest of my face bc I use an oil cleansing balm. This is great product and would repurchase.

Best eye makeup remover!

By far the best eye makeup remover I've used. With time, I've learned to use just the right amount so that no residue gets into my eyes and makes my vision a bit foggy for a few minutes. I have extremely sensitive skin, and this works like a charm. I don't use waterproof eye makeup, so I can't really speak to that. However, for regular eyeshadow, eyeliner, washable mascara, etc. this is perfect. Only thing I hope was different is the shape of the bottle and I wish they had those caps appropriate for use with one hand. Twice I knocked the bottle over, because it's so tall and the opening is wide. Other than that, will keep using and rebuying! Good job, Cetaphil!

Must Try

This is by far the best waterproof make up remover that I have tried. It removes make up efficiently and swiftly. There is no stinging or bad odor. Love it. Would highly recommend for anyone that wears waterproof mascara.

I’ve always had to make my own makeup remover, because my skin is too sensitive for even the “gentle” versions. I stumbled across this and gave it a try since I use Cetaphil for everything else. I am in awe! It basically melts the makeup off your face...in a good way! I only wish they made a way for it to squirt out of the bottle instead of an open end, but I’m sure that will come with time!

ANSWER TO PRAYERS - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My daughter has EXTREMELY sensitive skin, and most "sensitive skin" products feel like sandpaper on her face. She went out to college in Hawaii and the change in climate really affected her skin. We tried EVERYTHING, and then our doctor recommended this... IT WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL!!! She loves it and her skin feels so much better.

All I can say is WOW! this is really a super cheap alternative compare to the big name brand that works wonderful. It's too good for its price. My friend tried my while she visits me on a vacation and bought 3 bottles immediately to take it back with her. LOL. There are so many of those eye makeup remover that irritates the eyes, some are just way too oily that my eyes become blurry afterwards and some just don't remove make up well, I had to go back and forth so many times on my eyes and lashes. THIS DOES EVERYTHING, ITS JUST PERFECT. Don't stop making this.
