They arrived in perfect shape, well protected. The only thing that surprised me was the size. I was expecting small things. These things are big.

Easy and lovely!

I have been skeptical about these since they first came out. And with people saying they drain in an hour I had my doubts but decided to give them a try. I have numerous plants spread around my home and I am one of those plant lovers guilty of overwatering and/or underwatering my plants. For some plants that is fine but other like a nice steady influx of water or want to be bone dry between waterings. So far, the containers with these bulbs are all sucking in water at their own pace. I think the two weeks is a good estimate for how long the water will stay in the bulb. But remember this is PLUS or MINUS two weeks. I would say if your bulb dains in a hour, your soil may have been very dry to start, so try again and see what happens. If it does it again think about what type of media you have and whether this is a good option for it. The only downside to these are most manufactures don't give you an estimated volume of water that is in the bulb. FYI these were around around 1/2 pint each. :)

Easy to fill a good watering safeguard!

All came in good condition, no broken ones. The new ones (green in the side by side pictures out of styrofoam package) have a little larger opening and a little smaller globe compared to the ones I got at menards years ago. They fill very easily, but I suspect they could drain faster. Either way a good stop gap if I forget to water!

Mix stem openings perfect for multiple plant needs

Stem openings are different widths, which works perfectly for me as I have a lot of different sized plants that need different amounts of water. After 2 weeks of use, soil doesn’t appear to be clogging the stems. I occasionally have to give each a slight tap to release soil when filling back up, but overall better than the mini 3 pack I purchased as the stem holes on those were quite small and difficult to fill and unclog.

Beautiful and work great on my outdoor plants

I use these outside to water some of my picky plants. They have held up really well in our hot, dry climate. For me, they last about 2 days after I fill them. Sometimes I double them up on larger plants. Oh, and the colors are really brilliant - very pretty. I paid FULL PRICE and was NOT paid for my review.

they work!

these keep my outdoor potted plants watered for at least 3 days, i have a large begonia, petunias ect., indoors almost a week. It has been a very dry, hot summer and these have saved my plants. I have no problem filling them, just use a small stream on faucet, clean with a wooden skewer when they get clogged with dirt. They do leave a small hole in the plant dirt sometimes so I make sure I fill it in.

Great aqua globes.

I use all 3 globes on my plants. They work as expected. They get quite heavy when they are full. Also they can clog up with dirt. I read somewhere a recommendation to use a gauze to prevent clogging. I tried and it works perfectly. These globes won’t make your life easier; they are intended to keep plants alive. I have a gerbera daisy as one of the plants. It loves sun and lots of water. It can a real “drama queen” if it doesn’t get enough water. Now, it’s a happy plant. Globe can last for several days. And I know when it needs water again!

Large capacity and slow, steady watering system

I ordered 2 watering globe sets. I like and appreciate their beautiful bright colors and larger globe/stem size than found in retail stores. I use them for my outside cement flower pots, as well as several indoors plant pots when I’m away for more than a couple days. I plan to order 2 more sets. Thanks so much!!!

Globes Work Well for One Week

All arrived in excellent condition and work as advertised. Water window boxes and/or containers thoroughly before inserting globes. I used a knife to make the hole all the way to the bottom before inserting globes. When the soil becomes dry, the globes release water that will moisten the soil for about a week. In my large window boxes, I have four strategically placed and can go away for a week without a worry.

Long "noses" are much better than short ones.

Long "noses" are much better than short ones. We bought with short and returned them. Since they do not do their job. It doesn’t matter which hole. Nozzles should be long. In these globes the "noses" are correct. If your globe will give off water very quickly, I recommend inserting KingSeal Natural Bamboo Wood Skewers into the hole, cutting for a length of the "noses". So you can regulate the flow of water. Insert the bamboo stick into the spout after filling with water so you will reduce the holes. The wood will give out water little by little. And as an extra bonus, you can make small tasty kebabs from meat or shrimp on the remaining bamboo sticks.
