I prefer Hemp wicks over all else

Hemp wicks offer a lot of benefits vs cotton wicks. Without getting into the wick aspect of it, the hemp plant is a lot more environmentally friendly to harvest than cotton, if this matters to you. 1 acre of Hemp can produce the same amount that 2-3 acres of cotton can produce, hemp requires less water and less fertilizer as well. Lastly, it doesn't require any herbicides or pesticides. If those things don't matter to you, in terms of the actual candle you'll be fitting this to, Hemp burns slower than cotton, it burns hotter, and is more rigid than the typical cotton wicks you can purchase. A lot of people think that wicks are only a minor part of the candle, but a bad wick can easily ruin an entire candle, be it through burning itself off before the wax can melt, crumbling under the temperatures, or not providing an even heat distribution through the jar. I've never had a bad experience using hemp wicks, and most of my candles use them. This particular brand makes a nice pre-waxed hemp wick. The base is around the size of a nickel in case you're looking for adhesive stickers to apply. The typical stickers that EricX sells are a good fit.

Candle-making Delight

Purchased as a surprise for my candle-making mom. She raves how wonderful these are to use and that the length is great since she can trim them down based on the candle size. She says they burn easily without issue. These are now the only wicks she will use. Given that she's a bit of a hippy and has made candles for over 50 years that's the best compliment she could give. 5 STARS... heck, add a few more hippy stars -- This is a great product.

These are working really well for the candles that I made. I cut the excess wick of the top (these are pretty long) and then save them to put with solo washers. This way, you can get double uses out of each strand.

Burns great with beeswax

These burn so great with 100% beeswax votive size candles that I made. I trimmed them to size and the flame burns the votive evenly. Very happy! I’ll be purchasing more for future candle making.

finally decent wicks

This is the 3rd wick product ive purchased, the first was waxed cotton and they all burned thred thin and went out. The second was a spool of cotton wick which collapsed into the wax as soon as it pooled. These are excellent, nice thick natural wicks, not sissy wicks. Smoke is minimal if you trim. I use them to replace old inferior wicks.
