Such a fun toy! It has every aspect of a cash register that you'd want it to have, from the credit card reader, the beep of the hand held scanner, a moving conveyor belt, and a super fun microphone that is everyone's favorite part! It also has a drawer that opens up and holds coins and cash, and a weight scale to weigh the produce that is included (as well as a basket to hold the food.) Honestly, it has everything you'd want to see from a supermarket toy!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old son, he loved it and my 6 year old niece couldnt wait to play with it. It includes some bills and coins as well as a credit card. It comes with a very small basket with 4 grocery items to play with. All the buttons make noise, the calculator on it works and there is also a "Welcome" "Thank you" and "Bye bye" botton. The band does work but it does get a little stuck evey turn where the band was glued together. The scanner has a button with a beeping sound. My son clicks every button on the cash register for every item he charges, which makes him really happy. Overall its a great products for kids, it really helps them play pretend.

I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying this. My daughter, 8, loves it. It is kinda small, but she doesn't mind. She loves that the belt moves and that it makes the beeping sound for ringing things up. It has a little scale, a working calculator, a microphone (a big hit in our house) and a hand scanner. I just wish the cord for the hand scanner was longer and that the mic was longer, as well.

What I love about this product is how it comes with a cover, unlike the Melissa and Doug version AND its cheaper! Boley's play money set is a bit more cartoony instead of being photo realistic but I actually prefer that because its easy to distinguish the play money from real money. It functions as a better tool to have something that resembles the real thing but isn't super photorealistic so you actually get confused. Our set came with all of the coins organized neatly in its compartment. The tray and cover makes it easy for us to instruct kids to put the money back and keep everything organized. This is not only an educational toy but perfect compliment for other pretend play toys and even board game betting systems. The plastic coins and paper bills feels solid and good quality as well.

Well not much I can say about this little gem except that we purchased it for our Church Family Room for the little ones to play with before and after worship... THIS IS ALL THEY PLAY WITH. SO FUN!!! Can't even tell you how great of a purchase this was. It rings... the food belt actually moves...there's play cash, a credit card with all the realistic sounds of that purchase...the microphone works. "We have a spill in ISLE 2" you can weigh things and everything is very interactive... PERFECT. Thanks Amazon and Boley Kids... NAILED IT!

Now a days we rarely use cash anymore. My daughter always sees me swiping my card. I never use coins anymore so I think it's important for kids to know how to use cash when they need to and how to recognize and count them. We have a Melissa and Doug supermarket grocery stand and I'm teaching her to put these green backs in the register. We will worry about correct change and amount later but for now, she just needs to know the value or money and recognize the amounts and coins.

This cash register has all the bells and whistles you could think of! We used to have another cash register from a bigger brand name but it was much simpler than this one from Boley. I would have to say, this cash register is probably most beneficial to kids 5+ and older toddlers. There are lots of different buttons and features that a young toddler might not figure out or understand. However, with that said.. let’s start with the extra items included. There is some pretend cash, coins and credit card. There’s also a basket of pretend food boxes and milk cartons. I also have a set of smaller sized play fruits and veggies from Daiso and found that the little food items fit perfectly on the small conveyor belt and food scale! Some things that we particularly liked about this item: -Welcome, Thank You, and Bye Bye buttons You can press he bottoms or talk into the microphone and it’s like your own little supermarket stand! -Conveyor belt It has quite an engine.. haha. This belts revs up pretty loud and quickly. Prob not ideal for a baby under 1 to play with cause this thing spins fast. -Price scanner Again, it’s like you’re actually at the market.. makes for a good make believe play time if your kid loves the grocery store Only thing that was slightly bothersome about this was the packaging. The register is screwed on to the cardboard case on the bottom by plastic toy screws (not sure what they’re called). Usually you just twist it until it pops out, but the one we had wouldn’t budge so I had to rip the cardboard out to pop off those things. It doesn’t really have anything to do with the product itself, but just thought I’d mention it.

Debated between this and another brand of cash register for our child and am so glad we went with the bells and whistles (i.e. - conveyor belt, microphone, and scanner). Yes, the scanner cord is short, but that hasn't deterred our child from wanting to play with this constantly since she received it. She loves the credit card feature and, once she figured out that the calculator needs to be turned on, loves hearing the beeps of that as well. Great bang for your buck, I think we'll get a lot of use out of this.

Perfect play money and it comes with way more than I thought it would! Perfect for the kids to play store and learn the concept of money to pay for things. I thought my 3 year old would be too young to play with this, but he actually understood it. He puts the money in his toy cash register and plays grocery store and uses it to pay for his groceries. He doesn't know how to compute change, but he does understand to give money to pay for his items then gets less back as his change. It's cute!
