Nice to have, good price

I have been using this for a few weeks now. It seems to be good quality and is shiny and strong. I haven't had any break. It's nice to have such a range of colors as I am making various embroidery designs and I don't have to go get individual colors at the store. The only thing is that they don't have numbers, but in my case I don't need them. There appear to be 2 of each color included. The photo I attached of the bigger design is from KFNeedleworkDesign on Etsy.

Color fast test

Have not use yet but I color fast tested it soaked it in hot water with soap and put it in direct sun to dry on a window sill for days still the same color it was.

Great price for a great product

Wonderful colors!!! The floss does not have numbers printed on the labels, but I can match up to my DMC colors very nicely. Made a few projects with this floss, and I did not have any problems...No breakages...No fading onto my fabric.

Excellent quality and price!

Great product, great price! The colors are vibrant and the floss quality is excellent. The only downside is that the set doesn't contain blacks and greys, which I knew, but really would have liked. That said, order these now. You won't regret it.

The floss came in organized little cellophane see through paper. The colors are just as you see in the display picture. They are also very well organized according to color category. Reds, Greens, Blues, ect...

Pretty, safe

There's no reason to take stars off because I didn't get what I wanted. This floss is really reminiscent of DMC, but made up of a very safe collection of generally very well-matched gradients. What I was hoping for was a neutral, not-too-red, not-too-blue, violet. The best violet in here is a very close match to DMCs 550. I don't have a lot of DMC colors, but if you want to do a lot of shading or huge ombres, get this kit. The ranges are far greater and cohesive than DMC. There were no wild colors that stood out from the rest.

I like this Floss! Here's Some Tips!

Hi! I have to say that I really like this floss. As a professional needleworker with over 50 years of experience, I'm always on the lookout for new and interesting fibers. I see a lot of you have trouble about matching colours to dmc numbers. The best thing you can do is purchase the DMC thread colour card, not the one with pictures of the floss colours, the one with the ACTUAL threads. That will help you immensely with colour coordinating. Also, get some Thread Magic. Thread Magic is a silicone that you draw your thread over for smooth stitching. I hope these tips help. Excellent Floss!

This is wonderful embroidery floss! I don't use it for counted cross-stitch, so I don't care about the lack of numbers. The colors are beautiful and absolutely perfect for my use and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic Bargain, Great Product!

I'm highly satisfied with the quality and assortment of colors in this purchase. The assortment contains 120 colors, 2 skeins of each color. I love the colors - lots of interesting tertiary and muted colors along with bright vibrant primary and secondary colors. I'm an artist who creates original works with embroidery on paper, so I'm not concerned about exactly matching other manufacturers color numbers. The only disappointing thing about this item is that there is no color reference # on the skeins, so if I want to reorder a specific color, it would be impossible.
