Sturdy and well constructed

Sturdy and well constructed, this little lift is great for precision positioning. One thing to note is that I tried to drill through the top and bottom plates, but they are made of hardened steel and I couldn’t get through them, even with a powerful A/C electric drill! (I wanted to attach this to wood to make a furniture item. I came up with an alternate solution to drilling though.)

Spot Welds Did Not Hold (on first unit)

I just received one of these and the spot welds did not hold on one side and thus the unit did not work. I worked sheetmetal and have done many 1000's of spot welds on stainless steel and know how fickle it can be. I opened a return on this one and ordered another one based upon all the good reviews on here. I will update this review after I receive the next unit. 07/13/2018 Got a new one today and it works great for my macro photography...just like I intended.

Use it as a router lift, works as well as I had hoped

Use as a Vertical Lift in my Router Station. Works great!

My use for this is unconventional. I needed a way to precisely raise and lower a fixed based router in my workbench. This worked perfectly! I lock and unlock the router before and after I use this to make fine adjustments. Pretty slick.

Great router lift

Used as a router lift, love it.

Very well-made. Minimal load capacity.

I wanted to stand on this thing, but it only holds about 10 pounds weight. Clearly stated on the website, my fault.

Works well in a rough and demanding unintended use.

I use this to adjust the height of the butt of my bench rest rifles. I mostly fire .30-06 but have also used it with .45-70 and .375 H&H magnum. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
