Works Great

Good Product. It can handle pass thru wires as well. On one of these the installation was tricky as the box had 3 white and 3 black wires. I had to do a short jumper that I used a wire nut to connect to the 3 wires and run it to the outlet. There was plenty of room in the box to handle the 2 wire nuts. Be prepared with wire nuts and jumper wires in case you box has more than 2 whites and 2 blacks.

Easy to install and well built USB Outlets at a good price

It's always a gamble to go with no name electronics but in this case that gamble paid off. I was immediately impressed with both the packaging of this item and the build quality, both of which spoke to a higher dollar product. In my case I am using these outlets in new wiring so the fact that the face plates come with the rest of the outlet is a nice touch. On that note the outlets match the rest of my decora outlets nicely in terms of color and appearance and color. These were easy to install and the quality of the screws and hardware was reassuring. All said I had each unit in in around five to ten minutes and tested them working. If you're looking for USB charging without constantly scouring for chargers and "wall warts" this set of outlets is a great value and is well made. I'm not being paid for this endorsement, and I paid for these out of pocket I just was happy with the result and I'm passing it along.

Finally, a transformer friendly multi-outlet

It's exactly what I hoped it would be. Because of the distance between each outlet, I am able to put 3 chunky plugs one after the other, and still have access to the other 2 and the USB plugs. I was using a straight one with the outlets lined up side by side rather than top to bottom, and it didn't help with those transformer plugs. If I needed to, I would reorder this.

Nice addition.

Worked as advertised. I replaced an outlet in my laundry room and on my garage work bench. The USB connectors worked well. Just make sure the outlet box you are installing these into has plenty of room. My bathroom outlet box was a shallow design with lots of wiring installed in it. These receptacles require a standard sized outlet box with average wiring bundled inside to accommodate their size. I was able to use my existing wall plates instead of the included plates.

Money Saver!!

I procrastinated in placing this until last week, after several fights with my family over the chargers that kept coming up missing. Please follow the instructions that come with it, or hire an electrician. After installed no issues! During installation I thought the power to the outlet was off, but alas it was not. The 1st turn of the screw to the outlet is all I remember, my wife told me I screamed like E.T. and shat my pants before falling to the ground. I came to minutes later due to my high tolerance to electricity (struck by lightning when I was 12 and lost my big toe). After that I made sure the correct circuit breaker was off, and all was good. All that said, GREAT item, but follow the instructions!!!!

Very convenient but not fast charging at all

These are great to have in the wall and make charging super convenient the only problem I have is my phone's all say "charging slowly" when plugged into them and I was expecting fast charging because thats what they're advertising after all...

Realy easy to install for a NON-Electricion

This think is Pretty cool!!!! So I am NOT!! NOT I repeat NOT an electrician NOT one and I do NOT play one on TV ether!!!!! but this was not that difficult to do, change , replace fix what ever it is called... For me there were 2 difficult parts in replacing this The First one, was the screw on the face plate. those things are flat heads and of course I brought a Philips head screwdriver. Then it took 20 min looking around in the kitchen trying to save the time(actually steps) over going back out to the garage to get the correct tools. The Second one, Turning off not only the electricity to the plug but making sure it was the correct plug before touching the exposed wire you thought was off because you flipped the breaker that said kitchen, use a tester ( another trip to the garage) it can save you fronm the crazy tingigly little felling. the since I could not find the breaker (several trips to out side wall testing) I decided to just do it live with 2 pair of plyers ( another trip to the garage). So after I got the OLD PLUG OFF!!! yes that dance was just to get the old one off. I straighten out the lops made by the wire being twisted around the terminal(screw) of the old one then pushed into the designated hole, while Hot wire and white wire were clearly marked as to where they needed to go, which made it easy and no room for confusion. With the Ground Cable I finished it up, by tightening up the screw and shoved it all back into the wall. The whole process took about 15 min... if we take out looking for circuit breakers, tools, and multiple trips trip to the garage. I even think I can get the second install down to under 5. ill add to this post when I put in the second one with pics.

Stop looking for charging cubes but these!

I love these things. I have purchased three sets so far. Two for my house and one for my girlfriends house. They work perfectly as described. We have nine kids between us and we’re always looking for charger boxes/plugs to plug our usb chargers into. With these the hassle is gone! They are good quality. The first set I about about 8 months prior to this review the others more recently. Everyone can charge as needed whenever needed.

Declutter your charging station

Some reviewers have incorrectly claimed that you cannot wire these as pass-through receptacles. You can do that easily using the back-wire terminals as shown in the attached photos. They are larger than a standard receptacle so it could be a problem to install them in a crowded box. I had no trouble installing either one and both worked. I used them with a standard decorator-style plate. Some competing products will not work with a standard plate. I have not checked the current rating but the voltage is correct. Everything I have plugged into them has worked. These are tamper-proof so it is a little harder to plug in a 120V cord. Extra pressure is needed for the last quarter of the insertion.
