Perfect solution for a five year-old with a serious case of The Wiggles! :) Because she's so young, the strap doesn't adjust short enough for her, but that's okay. We just use a back leg of her chair instead of a front leg.

I'm very tall (6'6") so I needed a strap that would allow for my end pin to sit far enough away from me, and this is perfect. It's not even extended all the way! It's great to hold my end pin in place at my teachers home, where she has vinyl flooring that my cello would never stay put on.

Everyone around me loves the metal loop. BUT it can slip out from under chairs that have narrower feet. Just make sure you know if this will happen before you start playing and your cello slips suddenly forward!

My cello instructor recommended that I buy an endpin anchor with strap to connect it to the chair. This seemed to fit the bill, and when it arrived--promptly, I might add--it was what I was hoping for. It seems to be quite substantial with a solid strap and substantial rubber end piece that does not skid or leave marks on the flow. I have not had the anchor for long, so can't speak to durability, but it has all the hallmarks of such, and I am pleased with my purchase.
