No complaints, it's an ashtray!

I got this to replace a similar ashtray I got from Marlboro that had broken. This is almost identical except my previous one wasn't solar, it had a battery, which made the top very heavy, which I think is why it eventually broke. The top on this is very light and easy to open compared to my previous one so that is very nice.

This ashtray is much better than the one I originally purchased and sent back by PrettyMakeUp. It's made of metal, not plastic. And the LED light actually works well. The one from PrettyMakeUp was made from cheap plastic and the LED light didn't work right out of the box. I also like the fact that it is solar powered and never needs batteries. Also the light only turns on when the ambient lighting gets dark. It was double the price of the other one but definitely worth the extra $$$. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a really well built great ashtray.

Nice Product.

Nice ashtray. Little solar light helps you see at night. And it looks a lot better in your car than some of the others. If you have to have one you might as well get one that looks good. This matches the interior of my car perfectly.

Sleek, clean, efficient

Great product that cuts down on cigarette smells in the car with simple pop open lid. Solar light ensures you see what you are doing, fits in the cup holder. Release button for emptying (it pops open quickly, hold over waste can before pushing) and cleaning. Liked it so much ordered another for my daughters car.

Handy Worry Free Ash Tray

So about ten years ago in college I set the siding of my apartment on fire after not completely putting out a cigarette. Needless to say I am very paranoid when it comes to extinguishing butts. This product has some weight to it and shouldn’t tip over easily in a beeeze. I was looking for a cheap option just for my deck without having to buy a giant standing ashtray. It has more capacity than similar products I saw and has a little button that pops out the receptacle to make it easy to clean. There is plenty of space inside to stub out the butt and make sure your cigarette is COMPLETELY out. Then you can view the stubbed out cigarette with the little light. Then you can close the lid just to make absolutely sure. Did I mention that I’m paranoid?

Excellent ash tray!

I've tried several of these ashtrays. This one is by far the best. The wide mouth results in less of a mess around the ashtray. The interior volume is larger for butts. The light is not bright but it is just right for lighting up the area the top of the ashtray. Kind of a strange the way it comes apart for emptying but works just fine (hold above the waste basket while opening). As noted, this one is my favorite so far.

Perfect for smokers

This works better than I even expected. Once you close the lid it really hides the smell. The light is handy. Very impressed with the quality and the fast shipping.

loventhis little handy ashtray

Loved this while it lasted. Now it won't light up anymore, but I am still using it. Update: after hearing back in a second I was told to make sure it was getting light. It was in the center of my car with not much light. When I put it on my dash for awhile it was back to light!!! Love this.
