great tool for the money
Was a little dubious due to some of the reviews taliking of bending but figured for the price it was worth a try. I used it to remove the valves from a Kawasaki Z1 head with no problems what so ever. There was no bending and it was fully up to the task. Only thing I'd suggest is a little bit of tape on each end of the bar handle to stop it from keep falling out, otherwise, great tool for the money.

The tool works!
Nice handy case. It works well. The price is very reasonable. Quality is such that it will last a lifetime. I am using it to replace some valves on my Hyosung GT250r. With 4 motorcycles and 2 cars, I will save 100's of bucks.

Used this to compress and remove valves from my 2001 Triumph motorcycle. Did the job perfectly for removing all 12 valves. multiple adapters for different sized valves. Came with the one I needed. I have never worked on an engine before, but this tool made it easy, and I like that it was slow and precise, allowing me not to scratch or ding any surface area by accident. Nice and careful was how I wanted it, seeing that I have never done this before. Recommend this tool for sure.

Awesome low-cost valve spring compressor
Bought this to work on the valves of my 1998 Toyota Camry's 5S-FE. Tool is easy to use, my only suggestion would be to have something to keep the bar used to tighten in place - I ended up putting a zip tie on either side to stop it sliding out. Quality-wise I've found the tool to be absolutely fine for my one of valve job. It's great for a home DIY-er with such a low price, however I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is going to be using it a lot.

Good for the money
It is an inexpensive tool but worked really well for replacing valves and springs. On heavy seat pressure racing valve springs I can notice the compressor flexing but I didn't notice any binding or damage. As others have mentioned, the lack of a detent on the rod that goes through the arbor to tighten and loosen the valvesprings is sort of annoying but easily fixed with 2 small zip ties on either end of the small rod so it won't fall out of the arbor in use. Considering the cost, it's decent for the price for sure

Good Tool
This tool worked fine for my project. I rebuilt the heads on a 2006 Honda Accord with the J30 V6 engine. Removed and replaced all of the valves without any significant issues. I thought the cups were just the right size for my valve springs. I did add a thick piece of leather on the face of the valve to prevent marring the valve surface with the tool's tip. My only minor concern is that the threads may not be up to the wear of rebuilding many heads. I know this is not sold as a professional level tool, so I wouldn't expect it to last for years with daily use. But I'm sure it would work great for rebuilding a few heads for a hobbyist mechanic.

Worked well for replacing the seals on my 2.2 L Toyota engine
Others have said that the frame bent during use. One trick I can offer is after initial light tightening, tap the end with a rubber mallet to loosen up the keepers as they 'lock up' and must be shocked into loosening. You can visually see this happening! After doing that, you should have no problems. I used the largest size adapter for the Toyota valves

Good tool at a bargain price!
This was the third valve spring compressor I tried. The first two were designed to compress the spring with the heads in place, but they would slip off. The third time was the charm! This c-clamp style spring compressor and a hammer (to tap the spring side of the compressor) made quick work of removing the valve springs on a small-block Ford 289. The C part of the tool is made of heavy steel, and it comes with a variety of adapters for different sizes of valves and springs. The case is sturdy and keeps the tool parts in place. It was definitely worth the money.

Works a treat!
Used on a Honda CX-500 without any trouble at all. I've never used a spring compressor before, but this was simplicity itself. The largest (30mm?) of the attachments fit the spring tops perfectly, and compressing them was a piece of cake. Simple, sturdy, well made.

For under $20 what could be the worse, right
My 1999 VW Passat V6 had a bent intake valve and there are many ways to remove it on Youtube, I chose the easiest method is getting a tool. By the way, there are lot of valves removal tools out there, I pick this tool because of its value. For under $20 what could be the worse, right? All I can tell you is this tool does a great job, safe me a huge haslte getting and putting back the keepers. Note: tool does not come with instructions, it is very easy to operate, just place 1 end with extension bolt on top of the valve, the other end with extension bolt on top the spring. Then compress it, the valve keepers start to pop out, use magnet to remove both keepers. That's it. What a great tool to have, I definitely would highly recommended to anyone. The quality built of this tool is above average , no issues as others reviewers mentioned about bending. I don't have issue with this tool.
