The product was as a replacement for my old one and it worked out great. The only issue was the 1/8 MNPT Pipe Fitting turned my burner into a flame thrower. 1/8' was way too big an opening. I was able to re-use the fitting from my old hose which has a pinhole size opening. All is good now.

This is a perfect regulator for an Infra Red grill. You can dial it way down and cook large chicken parts for an hour or more without burning it to charcoal. Also, you can crank it up to supersonic hot with a 1/8 to 1/4 turn. The key to adjusting the regulator is to only make minor adjustments. I only had to turn it less than 1/2" to the "close" position to get the grill to "simmer". Don't go spinning the dial or you could damage your burners!

The adjustable regulator allows you to adjust it to your specific needs. I suggest you start at lowest setting (turn all the way counter clockwise) and turn it clockwise to get to the right pressure. On the highest setting it puts out a lot of gas and it may be way to much for your application.

I recently purchased a quality replacement hose. The problem with that one was that it is made to put out a set 90,000 btu. This is too much gas for a standard gas grill. I was not able to effectively lower the gas output to cook at a reasonable temperature. Lowering all of the gauges to their lowest positions, my grill was still cooking at 450-500 and was overcooking and getting constant flare-ups. The only way to cook at the right temperature was indirectly. I bought this adjustable regulator hose and it gave me complete flexibility to effectively turn the gas down if I want to cook directly over a lower temperature (300-400) or I can adjust it up to cook at 500-600 if I want. Live and learn!

So far so good! Arrived on time and is exactly as described. The red adjustment knob takes some getting used to. The description says no tools, you will need a 13/16th line wrench.

Use this to heat a cast iron discada, or a traditional hammered carbon steel Wok. The ability to adjust from a small idle to Apollo at liftoff and anywhere in between is great! Any more pressure into the burner (not included) would over-richen the mix and blow itself out!

Used it for a smoker that would run too hot even at the lowest setting on the smoker and the LP tank. With this regulator, I can easily dial in the right gas flow and keep the temp where it needs to be.

This is a great replacement regulator with fittings. My grill has instructions to not use one of the burners due to gas pressure. Slight adjustment is very easy with this regulator to maximize grill heat if necessary or use all the burners. I love the flexibility it offers while grilling. As described and shipped quickly.

It made a worthless new SS BBQ into a functioning unit. The BBQ will sear steaks now! The only thing I'd like to see is either the knob harder to turn or a set screw or something to lock it in position.

This solved all my problems. Purchase a large grill 89,000 btu (Costco), would not get very hot. I had to light all 4 burners to cook anything. Change the regulator, all good now! Only had to open the adjustment knob one turn (3 turns is max)
