I have been having trouble for years with vaginal issues. Itching, burning etc. I was also dealing with menopause so I thought everything was related to that. I went to the doctor and did not appear to have any infection so I sort of was putting up with all this discomfort and using hydrocortisone cream which was making the problem worse in the long run. Almost a year ago I got some estrogen cream to try to deal with the thinning and it really helped that but I was still having the itching so I decided to give BoriCap a try. It was easy enough to use these but they do make me leak watery fluid for the next day when I use one at night. To combat that I have tried to slightly loosen the capsule before I insert it. I do use an applicator to make sure I get it placed as deeply as possible. By loosening the capsule it seems to start working sooner. Maybe because I am post meno...and do not have a lot of natural lubrication going on, the capsule does not dissolve right away. Anyway that is my experience. The good news is that almost immediately this works to relieve the itching. I could not believe it because nothing else worked and I was starting to think there was something seriously wrong with me. I never did use these for several days like the directions said because I felt better after a couple days and could not deal with leaking constantly for a week. I now use them once a week to keep things in check. I have been using them regularly for quite some time and just came back to order anther bottle and decided to leave a review. I have zero side effects. This stuff is ten times better than creams and leaves you just feeling clean. There is no smell, no burning, no irritation. These are literally miraculous for me.. All I can say is Wow! I've been battling with chronic BV for 17 years now but it ended when I received this product. Imagine your childhood and adulthood being known as the pretty girl with the funk box. I had to end a lot of my friendship with people I considered my friend because they talked about me smelling to other people. I couldn't opened up to no one about this because I didn't think they would understand and it wasn't like I was nasty or didn't wash myself properly; it didn't matter what I did I couldn't get rid of the fishy smell. BV had me extremely self conscious and afraid I would never get married and have kids. It ruined my life!!! Changed my life

This saved my life! It was my last resort. After reading sooo many stuff and trying a few remedies to just be back in discomfort, I read about this product and decided to give it a try. I didn’t do the whole dosage (14 days). Not only because I thought that was just too many pills to go up my cooter but I wanted to give it a break to see if the symptoms would come back. After the first 2 days, I felt major relief so I continued as instructed for 4 more days. I stopped at day 6 to test the effectiveness and that was where I ended too. Absolutely no symptoms I had prior to trying the product came back. I was soooo relieved and happy. Definitely give this product a try if you’re having major itch, discomfort and even odor....of course after any major issues (like STDs) are ruled out. Also, the discharge of product (as they melt when inserted) was minimal.

Not a cure or permanent solution

it gets the job done just not permanently. It will need to be used long term not necessarily everyday day but just to maintain. Maybe every other day or every 3-4 days. That can be a little annoying but I'm willing to get over my annoyance for something that actually works. So no to rePhresh, hydrogen peroxide douches, ACV, garlic, and whatever else you've tried, this really Works!!! No Lie!!! ***Update 6/8/17*** This product with a supplement treatment can be a cure. I used the suppositories twice a day for about a week and a half while also taking 2 folic acid capsules and 2 probiotics with 10 billion active whatever the heck it is and I've been BV and yeast free for over a month!!! I had a stubborn yeast infection that prescriptions didn't even cure and I've been struggling with BV for years! I would rephresh, ACV, Hydrogren Peroxide you name it I've done it, only for temporary relief. This product with a supplement regimen will CURE YOU!! Granted you will need to continue to take the supplements but you shouldn't have to insert the suppositories for over the maximum time allowed. Also I did insert one after my cycle just to make sure she was good down there after going through "bloody" hell 😂!!

The only thing that has ever worked to clear up chronic BV (for the last 6 years), including antibiotics or probiotics. Every time I have my monthly, the BV came back. Now, I use this a couple days before and I'm good right after, and if not a couple days after as well and all is normal again. Thank goodness I found this, the BV's were embarrassing and going to the doctor every 3 months was getting expensive!

I AM SO HAPPY I COULD CRY TEARS OF JOY!

I have suffered, and when I say suffered I mean I have suffered from chronic BV for at three years. Over the years the infection/imbalance was treated with Metronidazole pills and gel until my body became completely resistant. Before that happened, I experienced every side affect that that so called medicine warns about. Mood swings, muscle aches, bloating, constipation, rash, you name it. IT WAS TERRIBLE! I obstained for nearly a year, I didn’t bathe, I stopped using latex condoms which by the way made a huge difference but regardless of what I did or didn’t do the issue persisted. I read about alternatives such as inserting PH pills, inserting garlic cloves and blah, blah, blah. Nothing worked 😒 I continued my research and came across Boric acid which I thought sounded a bit like mid evil vagina torture, but I was desperate for relief that I tried it and I am so glad!!! Within 24 hours of inserting the pill I am symptom free and I AM SO FRICKIN RELIEVED!!! FINALLY!!! SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!! 😩😩😩 I’ve followed the directions as followed and I’ve kept up with my PH levels by using the PH strips which I think are bogus, but it’s only been three days. I’ll give them at least a month before drawing my final conclusion. But the Boric Acid Inserts are a definite thumbs up!!!! 👍❤️🙂
