Very nice!
While these may seem a bit pricey, they are definitely high quality! The rail itself isn't flexing/warping after loading it up with a bunch of deep sockets. Every socket latched into place very nicely -- not so hard that you struggle with it, but not so weak that you'll have to worry about them falling off. I know someone else said the rubber end caps coming off easily was a negative, but I'm going to consider it a positive -- I swapped a few clips from SAE to the Metric set, and this made it possible to do so. I haven't had a problem with them just 'falling off' on their own yet. The sockets do slide pretty easily on the rail, but they only slide when I push them, not on their own. I will definitely be purchasing some more of these, now that I have 3 red and 3 blue and have them all loaded up, being able to see what exactly is left of the new 311 piece set I just bought. My only complaint would be as someone else mentioned -- it'd be nice to see different "combo packs" sold, like (2) 1/4" with (1) 3/8", etc. These are too expensive to buy a bunch of single rails to complete your set; I may as well just buy the combo packs of each again.

Better than Blowmold
After buying a few socket sets, my toolbox looked like an environmentalists worst nightmare. I had big bulky boxes everydrawer you looked in. Everything changed when i got these racks. I've never been a fan of socket rails due to their flimsy nature, but these have changed my mind entirely. My top drawer looks like I can actually get some stuff done now, and it's all thanks to these. On the 1/2" rail, I have up to 1-1/2 deep impact sockets and this rail has no problem holding them all in place. if you pick up the whole rail, it doesn't bow under the weight of some real beefy sockets. I just wish they had a 3/4 inch rail!

Best Socket organization method yet!
I have found this to be the easiest way to store all of my 1/2'' to 1/4'' sockets in 1/2 of my top drawer. I have tried others and got rid of them all when I found these. Purchased 5 sets and to extra 3/8'' rails and mounted them to plywood so the don't move. The rail clips slide on and off so you can put differn't drive sizes on one rail, such as my torx that are 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4' drive.

Nice product!
Nice product. I would drop a half-star for the lack of blue being available though. These look great and "feel" great. For 40 years, I've always used the metal rail/spring clip type of standard rails riveted in to the top of the top box. The clips are always a bit of a pain. These are a whole new world! Nice and smooth coming off and going on with any size socket. I ordered a second set after seeing how nice these were. I'm sure to order more but really would like to see blue for metrics. Two or three thing on my wish list: BLUE for metrics Different multi-packs - all 1/2", 3/8" or 1/4" Mix and match type of multi-packs - 2 1/2" + 1 3/8" etc.

Fantastic product with a minor design limitation
I have purchased several of these Olsa socket carriers and put them into service in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 sizes. Only thing I can add to the positive reviews is a small limitation - above about 1” or 24mm, the size of the socket begins to overwhelm the carrier, especially for deep sockets. What I mean by this is that the bulk and weight of the socket gets to the point that it becomes overly heavy on one end, wants to roll in your hand (and tool box), and even might pop off because of the socket weight. Just be aware of this limitation as it would apply to any carrier of this style. Most people don't even have sockets this large, so it is really a secondary concern until you get to the larger 1/2" drive sizes. Other than this minor nit, I'm a very happy customer and heartily recommend these organizers. I love them just not above a certain size socket.

Great socket rail, holds heavy sockets without a problem
Don't listen to the two-star review by some "Amazon_Customer" who claims that "the ball bearing spring is not strong enough to hold heavy (18mm+) deep impact sockets". I have to disagree 100% with that claim. I have a set of 1/2" drive deep impact sockets ranging in size from 7/16" to 1 1/4", and the clips on this socket rail will EASILY retain those sockets, even when the rail is held up-side-down. This rail with all of those sockets weighs 8 1/2 pounds, and I can easily lift the whole thing by grasping only two sockets with my thumbs and middle fingers. Now of course, with impact sockets, you do have to correctly position the socket on the clip so that the ball on the clip engages the hole in the side of the socket. Otherwise, you definitely will have trouble with poor socket retention. My only complaint is that there is nothing to keep the clips from sliding off the end of the rail except for the rubber end caps, and those would be insufficient for retaining a rail-full of heavy sockets if the rail were hung vertically. The obvious solution to that is to put a small bolt through one of the end holes. So that isn't really a problem if you work in a mechanic shop and have easy access to bolts of all sizes, but Olsa really needs to rectify this flaw. Other than that, this is a great socket holder.

There's a reason these are get great reviews. Just buy them. Here's why.
These socket organizers are the best i've ever use...no BS ...do yourself a favor and order them. They are way solid and smooth...and the price is cheap for the quality. They hold a whole rack of 1/2" impact deep sockets and no flex, ZERO FLEX, yet they're light and slide easily. The are made from some kind of high grade extruded aluminum and nicely anodized. That's why i bought more in 3/8 and 1/4 . Sockets dont fall off but you don't have to fight to get them off either. I'm very happy with these, in fact, this sale is me coming back here and buying more 1/4 and 3/8 to replace all my others...make life easier. Also, If they don't fit in a drawer or box, you can easily shorten them with a cut off wheel and slide the rubber end back on. Someone said they wish the 1/4 came with more clips for more 1/4 sockets. Yes, maybe they should offer a pack of the plastic slide clips, but I cant ding them for that. It's not often you get something this solid and nice for a cheap price.

Bought them to try, and now I've just placed my third order. There socket rails are awesome.
I bought these because my old spring steel socket rails have never really done a good job at keeping things in place.. heavy deep sockets would always fall off and my tool box was a mess. I liked the looks of these and I thought I'd try a set. When they arrived I was immediately impressed with the quality, They are light, but very sturdy and extremely well finished. I bought the first set, and within 2 days I was placing an order for another set plus 2 individual rails. I just placed my third order today and I'm looking forward to their arrival. The mess that I once had is gone, and now I can easily find the socket I need without digging thru a pile of loose tools in my tool box. I would recommend these rails to anyone from the home owner who does weekend maintenance to the professional mechanic who wants to organize his tool with a quality product at a reasonable price.

Love these socket rails!
Great quality socket rails. The same product seems to be offered by multiple vendors on Amazon, so it's worth shopping around before adding these to your cart. The red anodized finish is beautiful, and the aluminum construction and ball bearing equipped socket holders make these a high quality purchase. I'm so pleased that I just ordered a second set. I ended up getting the first set from Neiko: https://www.amazon.com/Neiko-02454A-Aluminum-Socket-Organizer/dp/B073WKH8VF/ The two advantages of the Neiko branded rails are that they're about 30% less expensive than the Olsa tools set and they come with more included socket holders (eighteen 3/8" socket holders, and twenty 1/4" socket holders). On the other hand, the main advantage of the Olsa rails is that they're available in multiple colors (which is handy for visually separating metric and SAE sockets). The Neiko rails are currently only offered in red. The only thing I wish is that both Neiko and Olsa offered is a shorter rail option. Ares does. These ones are way too long for the typical set of 10 to 12 sockets. If shorter rails were available, it would be easier to find a storage case to fit them in.

Still early in evaluation, but you can cut them ...
Still early in evaluation, but you can cut them to whatever length you want. A suggestion to buyers, once you cut them to length take a set of locking pliers and pinch the ends of slide rails where clips slide off. This way you don't run the possibility of them falling out. Suggestion to manufacture, may be consumers could buy extra neoprene ends. Lots of possibilities for socket style organization
