Finally an affordable brush that works!

I received this product today and it works like a charm. I have a Shiba Inu that blows it's coat twice a year and this helped out tremendously already. This has been the most effective comb I've purchased and it's a great price. The doge didn't seem to mind the combing either. I would recommend that you focus on brushing one area at a time and using very light pressure since it is a tad sharp and you don't want to hurt your pooch.

Couldn't believe my eyes!!

I ordered this comb for our pet. She is a Labrador and Pitbull mix. Her hair is short and sheds a lot. After the first pass I got a bunch of hairs plus a lot more falling to the ground. I got like addictive and couldn't stop combing her hair. It seemed she was enjoying the combing because she was moving her skin in different directions and was very still. I needed to stop becsuse she got tired after several minutes and was getting away from me since she is not accustomed to long brushings. I had other brush (retractable) but did not last too long before getting stuck. I never had removed the same amount of hair with the old brush than with this comb. Simply love this amazing comb. Easy to use and clean.

So I have a Husky/Golden Retriever mix and she has the undercoat from HE double L. I have tried so so many brushes that are supposed to help with undercoat issues and NOTHING has worked as well as professional groomers do. I purchased this brush and I just used it last night. It removed an entire foodlion bags worth of dead fur from her undercoat and when I got done she was all smiles (probably because she felt much cooler). I will definitely be recommending this brush to everyone I know with undercoat dogs. The whole process took me about 20-30 mins for her entire body and it did not pull out her top coat at all, you can actually see when you are getting close to relieving the undercoat of dead fur because the brush begins to pick up less and less. When that happens I move on to the next area so I don't agitate the skin too much.

Great little tool!

We have only had this grooming brush a day but impressed how well it works. My wife used it on our short haired dog and you will see in the picture the pile of hair it removed in just minutes. Our dog enjoyed it too!

Absolutely fabulous cat comb!!!

This comb is a god send. I have a long haired cat that sheds like it's his job, and a short haired cat that has wires for hair and it works perfectly on both. I've never gotten so much hair off the cats! And the long haired one is picky about the kind of comb but he sat and let me comb him forever and I had enough hair to make a sweater. Then the short hair got word that there was a sweet comb seesh going on and she came running because she loves a rough comb and it worked for her too! So don't waste time buying one that says only for long hair and one only for short hair, this comb works for both.

My favorite grooming tool!

I received my brush today (7/17/17). My first impression was that it looks cheaply made. I thought it was going to break after a few uses lol (I was wrong). As you can see i have several brushes. I have two long haired and one short haired cat. The slicker brush works great on my long haired girls for their top coat but its not very affective in getting the undercoat and its a bit rough on them. I got the dematting brush and it did not work for my cats. After trying this deshedding tool i immediately fell in love with it. It helped remove so much hair without having to apply much pressure so it was easy on their skin. I was even able to remove the small matts my cat had. I feel like i should've bought this tool first before getting anything else. I would definitely reccomend this!

The only brush I'll ever use for my German Shepherd

The only brush I'll ever use for my German Shepherd. I had a $60 Furminator brush that broke on me. I bought this for less than 1/4 of what I had paid for my Furminator, and it works every bit as well.

Would be fantastic if my dogs weren't so squirmy

My two dogs shed like it's their job. It would be unsightly if they had long coats, but these two both have this short, wiry hair that gets everywhere. It's strong and stabby enough to break skin. I despise wearing shoes in the house so this shedding is a problem for me. You see, those strong, stabby dog hairs get embedded in my feet fairly regularly. They're like little splinters, to the point where removal actually requires the use of tweezers. I have to use tweezers to remove dog hair from my feet. I purchased this comb so I could remove some of that hair in a controlled way, in a safe location. As far as I can tell, it seems super effective. The only issue I've had is not with the comb, it is with my recalcitrant dogs. It is exceedingly difficult to brush the back of a dog who insists on having his nose on the comb at all times. If your dog can bring him- or herself to sit still for long enough for you to use this comb, then I highly recommend it.

Better than expected!

Needless to say, I now have two cats.
