I usually wait a few months before reviewing a product but I am writing this review after installation. The ski rack is for an Infiniti QX50. The installation was straight forward. This is a standard rack. It doesn't slide out from the base to give you access to your skis when installed on a full size vehicle. It is perfect for a small SUV or car. I put a snowboard and a pair of skis in the rack. I pulled the skis from the side of the vehicle and the entire vehicle started rocking. The ski rack is heavy duty. The lock is fixed lock. More expensive brands have removable locks but.....they are a lot more expensive. I ski about 100 days a year and I don't have the time to switch ski racks on vehicles so every vehicle has it's own ski rack. I think this rack is perfect for my QX50. I will update sometime in December.

For the Prepared Skier

Bought this product after quite a bit of research. It is easily mounted on the crossbars of my roof rack. Would recommend using a power screwdriver instead of the Alan wrenches that come with the product. Mine and my girlfriends skis fit beautifully, Snug clamping device with lock that withstood highway speeds over a couple of hours. Highly recommend this product, and can’t beat the price.

Solid product for a small price

Fits my use perfectly. I only need these 2 months a year. These are constructed well, solid and, comfortably hold 3 to 4 pairs of ski's. Be careful with the locking mechanism. Make sure that you push down on the top rail and then lock. If the key does not want to turn, try again. They lock perfectly if you push the top rail down just far enough. I sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the keyhole after which they lock perfectly every time. These were installed on my 2018 VW Atlas on top of of the

Great rack for a great price

Really nice racks for a fraction of the price of some other brands. These don’t fit much equipment but are easy enough to assemble and use. Perfect for my little subaru. Would recommend

Customer Service gets an A+

Had problems with 1 of the locks. Contacted the company and they sent a replacement immediately. Have them attached to a GMC Yukon and they work great. Had no problem holding 1 pair of skis and two snowboards. Excellent value!

Great product for the price

I got my apex racks a day early installed them in 15 mins and they look great and hold my rushing poles awesome I can get 6 poles to fit very nicely in the racks

The rack is durable, great quality!

The item come fast. It is durable. The price is great. It is easy to install on the crossbar of my Toyota Sienna. It took about 15 min. The instructions was straight forward. I saw a few reviews about rusting issue. I will update this review after this ski season.

Solid fit, never came loose on 1000+ mile roadtrip.
