intriguing! I set out lots of broken things I've been wanting to mend, reuse, bring back in my life, as well as a list of things around the house to fix and then did everything in the 30 minutes they give you for keeping the "glue" pliable. It did seem to fix a rack in my dishwasher, a wobbly birdfeeder, an outdoor thermometer that kept blowing off its stand, some cabinets that were banging shut...not so great on pottery because I couldn't get it thin enough, although it worked on a few pieces, e.g. reattaching a mug on a coffee cup. But I had everything out so I just did the rest of the pottery with Gorilla Glue and tidied up years of a To Do list...recommended. I've given it as gifts to friends who are also intrigued. I think the prices are better at Target and Home Depot but getting it delivered by Amazon is hard to beat.

Good Kit. Good, useful color assortment.

Sugru is a little pricey, but this kit is a good way to sample the product in different useful colors without too much $$ pain. I took care of a lot of little fix-it jobs with less than 1 pack. If you search the web, you'll find there is a way to re-seal the pouches in case you don't use up the entire piece.

This product is AMAZING. I'm telling you if you got wires that need repair, this is all you need. I will offer one warning, however, if you live in a house with pets, use this product in the office if you don't want dust and pet hair to get in your finished product. What can I say, it's like a clay and anything and everything will stick to it. They offer a 3D printer mold program to use for frayed wires. It looks awesome and would cut down on dust getting on it. I wish they'd sell this thing as an accessory instead of a mold program because well, most folks don't have 3D printers. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. So because with the white color. Everything that sticks to it will show. Still a phenomenal product, even with my cat's hair in it. LOL!

Great To Fix Things or Prevent Future Damage

I use Sugru for two main things: to fix things that are broken, or to prevent any damage to things. The Rebel Tech Kit comes with four packs: red, black, white, and silver gray, along with a handy metal case which you can reuse for storing other things. — HOW TO USE — The instructions are simple: Open up a pack and you have about 30 minutes to apply it before it starts curing. The portion is more than enough to use within that time. Depending on what you use it for, you may be able to apply it to 2-3 items. Once you are done, wipe your fingers clean with some toilet paper (that's what the instructions say), and then a regular hand wash. You want to make sure you clean with the toilet paper first because you don't want to wipe this off on nice towels and have it cure on there. Finally, don't touch the Sugru for 24 hours. *** TIP *** If you use this on charging cables, I recommend hanging your cable connected to something heavy (or whatever it's supposed to charge, like a phone/device) and let gravity cure it in a straight line. — THINGS TO USE IT ON — - Charging cable ends to prevent bends - Putting broken things back together - Patching up backpacks - Additional support for securing hooks on walls/ceilings - Adding corner bumpers on a Kindle case so it doesn't wear down as fast — SUMMARY — Sugry is a handy versatile invention that can be used for many things. Fixed my handle!

I love this stuff now. I will put it on my Christmas list. It won me over when the handle to my microwave broke around the screw that held it. I had ordered a pack to play with and felt this was a great time to test what it could do. My first attempt did not work completely because the gap with so big that the sugru couldn't really fill the hole and attach to the screw. I added another bit of sugru and this time it held fast. It has held up to daily use for the last 2 months.

This stuff is magic

I received my kit mayne 2 weeks ago give or take. Which I specifically purchased to attempt to fix my Garmin (vivoactive hr) after I was amazingly disappointed that the band had snapped off on the hard moulded plastic piece and could not be repaired by just using a new pin. After letting the sugru set it was just like new and my friend even said she thought it was just another button on my watch! I don't know how long it will last with exercise, but I intend to find out 😂. Fast fwd to today as I'm picking my favorite pair of headphones out of the DRYER. I used sugu to insulate all the broken connections and frayed wires (including the call button that i never use) and low and behold...magic happens and they work! Happy to have bought this, for $13 I've already repaired about $300 worth of stuff 😁

Interesting product!

This stuff is really cool. I used the white Sugru to fix a few charging cords that were starting to wear around the joint, and it's a really astonishing product. Sets into a nice plastic and the cords should last us for a lot longer now because of it. Very pleased with it!

Excellent stuff!

OMG, this stuff is amazing. I was hesitant to order because of the seemingly small quantity for the price. But, it turns out, you don't NEED a lot. Among other things, I've used it to reinforce mobile phone charging cables and it works perfectly. (One of the cords was already split and frayed, but Sugru magically made it work again.) The printed insert in the box gives a lot of ideas of how else Sugru. Unbelievable product.

Cool product. I have no handyman talents but I was able to make 2 great items so far.

Really interesting stuff. I made a great charging cable holder (instructions are in the booklet) that turned out perfect. Now instead of tossing my cable on the floor, I'm able to "hang" it against my nightstand. I also put a protective wrap around my charging cable, time will tell if it actually prevents damage but I do see how it prevents severe bending of the cord right at the point where it reaches the phone plug.

Works very well - just a tip on how to apply

Firstly, this product is very very good when applied properly. And even when applied improperly it’s still not bad. I used this to fix a fraying power cord. The goo sticks to the cord itself and protects it well. I put the goo up onto the charging head just a little bit, and after a couple months of bending the cord, it has come away from the head. It is still very much protecting the cord, it just doesn’t look as neat anymore. I would recommend applying the goo onto more of the head than as shown in my picture, just so it looks nicer. This product works well and only slightly limits the bend-ability of the cord, which it needs to do to protect the cable. I love it and plan to reinforce all my cables with this and recommend it to everyone.
