Easy bolt on

Easy bolt on. Just have to plug an unneeded vacuum port. Fired right up and ran perfect. I used this carb on an old Powermate ER 5000 generator

Very pleased.. bolted carburetor on.. hooked up the gas line.. 2 pulls started and ran great.. no adjustment.. local. Shop wanted $38 for the same one... and would be a 3 day wait..anyways..

Worked perfectly on the first pull

Fit well, but similar to other reviewers you may need to slightly modify the throttle mechanism. To prevent yourself from having to bumble around with the throttle of your engine or having to remount your old carb, take pictures from the same angle for both new and old carb to know where to put throttle line.

I purchased another carb that did not fit right. Then found and ordered this one. Fits to a tee. Fired right up after filling with fuel. Cost of carb was cheaper than rebuild kit. Purchased for a 5000 watt generator.

Works great with minor modifications

Coleman Powermate Generator PM0525312 Got this carburetor to replace the one left with gas in it for over a decade - you know the drill - the old one was so bad the throttle plate would not even rotate and gas poured out of the carburetor from the stuck float. 1) Carburetor bolted right up but had to drill out one of the three holes on the throttle to attach the governor rod. 2) Had to clean up and use the 2 older jets as these older units (2003) needed more gas than was available from the new carburetor as indicated by the unit wanting to "hunt" (engine runs but revs up and down constantly - easily diagnosed by choking slightly and engine smooths out) after installation. 3) Probably good to tap the threads for installing the heat shield as apposed to just using the self tapping screws as it will get tight and the screws break before securing the shield. 4) Filled the unit with gas and some seafoam and ran the unit for 85-90 minutes to ensure operation. Unit now starts on the first pull when properly choked. Overall a good carburetor. Great price and shipping was fast with Prime. Able to get this unit to needy people for relief from Hurricane Michael.

Started up on first pull!

This is a first impression review: * fit perfectly {w/exception that I, like another reviewer, had to slightly drill out the hole for the auto throttle control rod link (for my 10hp)} * cranked right up - I dropped the starter handle the first time I grabbed it because I still have blisters from yanking 150x before I gave up on the last carb about a week ago - grabbed the pull again and it turned over before the end of the rope. * ran beautifully - I actually had to open the choke more quickly than I would have guessed, for whatever that’s worth. Smooth response to the auto throttle system / very steady tach underway. I’ll let you know if i’m still this impressed after it runs for a while.

10 HP Tecumseh Carb

Installed this card on my 10HP Tecumseh engine on a 5000 watt generator. Turned the gas on and started on the second pull and ran great. Never started this easy before.

Don't waste time trying to repair old carb. Just replace it.

Used to replace carb on sears chipper shredder. Fit perfectly. Some mechanical skill and patience needed (along with tools). Took about an hour to disassemble and reassemble parts needed to access and replace carb. Look over carefully and/or take pictures to reassemble correctly.
