THIS STUFF WORKS!!!
Works amazing! Prevents a vapor-lock problem I’ve been having when I added a dual exhaust system to my truck, bringing a new pipe down the side with the fuel lines. This used to cause the fuel to vaporize, and stall the truck, but THIS WRAP WORKS! No more stalling issue from the heat. Side note- they give a warning that this product will cause skin irritation comparable to fiberglass. I work on boats and get covered in fiberglass dust frequently and can tell you although this may irritate some people, it is not nearly as bad as fiberglass, and it’s barley noticeable to me.

Great deal - and a great heat wrap
I wrapped the portion of the exhaust pipes that run pretty close to the rear fiberglass mono-spring. These fiberglass springs don't like to be near excessive heat. This titanium wrap is formulated to block a lot of the heat, and protect the spring. At least that's what it's supposed to do, and so far so good. If you follow directions, take your time, wear safety gloves and glasses, and even a small tittie-mask, (a lot of small particles go airborne) you should be able to apply the wrap without issue. Also to note- you get plenty of wrap, and for about half the cost of what other vendors charge.

2 THUMBS UP! BETTER THAN FIBERGLASS CRAP
Very impressed with this item. Only second time using a lava rock based wrap and this performed better than i could have hoped. Used it to wrap a "test pipe" on an Audi a4. This replaces the catalytic converter and is without a doubt the hottest part of ANY car with a turbo especially. Within 60 seconds of turning the car off after driving, i could open the hood and touch it.(no, not grab it, or keep my fingers on it, but if you tried that with a pipe with auto zone type wrap your skin would be left under the hood) i use this exclusively now to keep engine bay temps down.

Make sure you get an extra roll for the head, its bigger than you think
I bought several rolls of this because I wanted to make an authentic mummy costume for my grandson for his 8th birthday (he loves mummys). I figured the insulating wrap would also keep him cooler in the August heat during his b-day party in the park. We soaked the rolls as instructed, and did him up. Well I want to tell you it worked great! He looked pretty spooky and the kids loved it. The only downside was that Chester got a pretty bad rash and was itchy for about a week and we couldn't tell because he was wrapped up. Pretty sure it was from the birthday cake because we think he was born gluten free but we haven't had him tested yet. The metal clamps were also helpful but maybe a little too tight, he had a little numbness for a couple of days in his fingers but it went away luckily so maybe don;t use those for your own mummy costume. Use some zip ties instead. All around a great and spooky birthday. 5 ROLLS CORPSE PRESERVATIVE WRAP = 5 STARS

Seems like good quality and pretty easy to install.
Seems to be working great, needed it to protect my CV boot from getting to hot after putting on an aftermarket downpipe on a turbo subaru baja. A few tips, like other said use light gloves and long sleeves. It does not really shed, so your face and head should be fine. Do your first few wraps, tighten down the clamp band, then as you wrap the pipe, twist the wrap back up to the beginning to make it evenly snug. You will smell it burning off for the first hour or 2, after that the smell is gone. Also, don't pay attention to amazon, it tries to get you to buy the silicon spray with your wrap. The website says do not spray the titanium wrap, it has a coating built into it and does not need it, the spray won't properly be absorbed and will just burn off.

Cool Stuff.
Decided to try this product since there's no heat shield option for my (FMF Megabomb) header and the heat keeps burning holes in my pants. Watched about three or so videos on youtube on installation to gather all the following tips including some of my own. Tips: 1. Wet the wrap for easier handling and a tighter wrap. When it's dry it slips round the pipe easily even with the clamps and it's hard to get tight. Wetting it makes it grip the pipe better which means you can also wrap it tighter. 2. Put the seam (sewn edge) on the leading edge as you wrap. There's a visible seam or sewn edge that's looser whereas the opposite edge is tighter (cleaner). If you look closely you should be able to tell the difference. You want the seam on the leading edge so that the overlap covers it. It will give you a tighter, cleaner look. 3. Pull it really tight. Seriously tight. 4. Fold the ends under about 1/2" to 1". This will look cleaner and should prevent the ends from fraying. 5. Wear gloves. I used some 9 mil latex. The wrap is really aggravating when you get it on your skin especially if you're pulling and gripping it. However folding the ends under was difficult with gloves on. I just took them off during that part. Or you could just have a helper do the folding at the beginning and end. Had to re-wrap mine 3x on the front section and 2x on the rear section to get it just right. So don't be afraid to make mistakes and do over. Always liked wrapped headers and this titanium wrap definitely looks cool. The real test will be to see if this prevents my exhaust from burning holes in my pant legs.

worked great to wrap my chopper pipes
worked great to wrap my chopper pipes. Unroll this into a bucket of water, make sure you wear some exam gloves and then wrap this as tightly as possible around your exhaust. I then put a heat gun in the end of the pipe and let it run until the steam quits. As it dries it'll tighten up even more. It'll smoke for a bit when you first run the bike but that goes away quickly.

BEWARE! FIBERGLASS
Love the look but beware there's fiber glass also in this and it falls EVERYWHERE, leave u itchy as hell, so wear gloves and a smock or something because they stick to everything and it takes forever to get all off your hands, other than that loved it

Good quality wrap for a low price
Was kind of hesitant due to the price, but all is well. It's kind of difficult to wrap but once you get it going it looks nice. Keeps exhaust parts from roasting body parts and that is what it's meant to do.It does however cut very easy with some kitchen scissors or the like. Only issue I have is that there are not enough steel ties included but that could be fixed by a cheap trip to the local hard ware store. P.S please use gloves unless you want itchy hands.

Great wrap for high EGTs
This works for our teams RX7 endurance car. The previous wrap we had was fiberglass and the rotary engine baked it and it cracked then broke off. We replaced it with this Lava wrap and were 3 races in on it and its only frayed a bit on the bottom side of the car. It still feels the way it did when we installed it on the header, not hard baked like the fiberglass one previously. I liked it so much I got more for my road RX7.
