Great Buy - Charges Flawlessly

I received this in the mail today. The first thing I noticed was the color. I have the Rose Gold 12" Macbook. According to the images, I didn't think that the color would really math my computer, however, the color matches perfectly. I plugged it into my computer and then I plugged my charger, keyboard, and wireless mouse into the device (although only three of the outlets are being used, I tested all four) and everything works beautifully. I noticed that some of the reviews mentioned that the charging aspect wouldn't work (especially if they closed their screen), so I plugged my laptop in, recorded the battery percentage, shut the screen, and walked away for a few minutes. When I returned and opened my laptop my battery percentage increased from 76% to 87% and was still charging. Of course, I just received this today, but I will update my review if I run into any problems as time passes by.

Good Solution

With Apple's removal of the USB ports on the newest MacBook Air, I needed an adaptor and this item did the trick, plus more. The hub provides me with multiple plug-in options and I can keep my wireless mouse receiver plugged into the hub all the time, along with my power cord, and I just plug the hub into my computer when I'm at my desk. I've only been using it for a few days, but so far so good! And it matches my rose gold computer perfectly ☺️

Solves the new 2018 MacBook Air problems

The new Air only has 2 "C" connector slots in it, no USB anymore, so when you have it charging, there's only ONE slot available and if you have USB external HDs you want to use, forget it. This solves the problem, but I did buy 2 extension cables so that I have more freedom to place the hub wherever is convenient. The cable on this one is a bit short and dangles like a dongle--which I don't want.

I bought this hub because my new refurb MacBook came with one USB C port and nothing else. I needed to expand available external connections since My backups are on an external SSD. The Lention hub sounded like a good option - not expensive and supports a variety of USB plugs. It also looks good. I found that the hub more than met my needs. The USB C and the USB 3 are super fast. I can charge the Macbook battery through the USB C while using one of the other plugs for the SSD or for a printer. The USB ports on the device have the minimum necessary separation so if the plugs have a large case or a USB thumbdrive is wide then it may not be possible to use all the ports at the same time. The manufacturer was faced with an engineering decision to balance accommodating several plugs with keeping the hub small. They made the correct choice in my opinion. I have not had a need to use all the ports simultaneously. Now for the service rating. I received the package a day earlier than promised. It worked only for a half hour. The Macbook kept telling me that I was disconnecting a device incorrectly even though I wasn't trying to disconnect. I contacted the manufacturer immediately by email since this product received some really good reviews. I sent the message on a Friday hoping to get a response the following Monday. Instead, I received on notice on Saturday morning that they were dispatching a new hub that day. I don't know when it arrived because I had to be out of town. The new device was there when I got back. It worked perfectly. The multiple follow-up emails were even more satisfying.

Glad it worked on my Lenovo legion gaming laptop

This Lention USB-C hub pairs flawlessly on my new Lenovo Legion gaming laptop. I love the rose gold color I selected and the adapter is the perfect size that I can tuck it behind the laptop while being connected to other devices. I originally bought this device to pair with a macbook air 13 inch. I have to return the macbook to costco and bought the lenovo instead which suits my needs for both productivity and gaming.

Works as advertised

It works exactly as advertised and as I hoped it would. And it matches my MacBook Air perfectly as you can see. I would definitely buy again.

Apple functionality without the Apple pricing

Easy to like a product when it does exactly what it's supposed to do at the fraction of OEM price, and good looking to boot. Also, this unit will charge off one of the hub's ports, so you don't have to worry about use and charging at the same time (though it will use up the USB-C port of course). Lention after sale service wasn't too intrusive or demanding like other merchants. I am pleased with this item and will be looking at their other stuff in the future.

USB-C Hub working with Apple MacBook

It is always not easy to get something not pricy for apple computer accessory. I have an USB-C adaptor that let me copy files with USB. (The one bought from Apple store works, another from a shop not working.) I was looking for one hub that allows me to charge while using my MacBook and found this at Amazon. This hub is not only working (the moment you plug in you will see green blinking lights and ready to use!), with extra features (up to 3 usb) and pretty. It matches my rose gold MacBook. Happy!

Great Accessory and Great Support

Bought this so my wife could connect her iPod to her new 2017 MacBook which I plan to give her for Christmas. When plugged into the MacBook it was not charging it. Contacted the seller and within the day received an email inquiring. Explained the problem and sent a photo showing how there was no through power as it is suppose to do. The seller quickly sent out a replacement and that one work just liked advertised. Now my wife can charge her rose gold MacBook and her iPhone as well as her iPad all with this small portable USB-C hub. Would highly recommend this to anyone that gets a new MacBook so they can connect their accessories to it, but not necessarily in the rose gold color unless that's the color your wife likes.
