I ordered this to get some intensive studying done comfortably on my couch rather than at the desk. This works better than I imagined. Whilst I can’t cross my legs under, I can position myself to get quite comfortable while using it. The adjustable height is great and I “discovered” the locking tabs to lock the legs in place when tightening your adjustments. Really, this performed better than expected. I’m now using it as a drawing table to finish up very detailed work without having to hunch over. Being able to adjust the height and the incline of the surface has saved my neck and back from needless pain. I’d buy this for anyone! My DH even approves of this and he thinks 90% of what I order is unnecessary haha. Great product. Great price. Great quality.

I god the larger version of this product as I tend to keep notes and a cup of tea next to my laptop. I was a little nervous, but all the good reviews sold me on this product. I was not disappointed. Arrived fairly quick, but it wasn't during the holiday season. The little drawer is big enough to hold some writing utensils. My iphone fits in the slot. And this thing is surprisingly sturdy. My fifteen pound cat was fairly sure that this was a table for him and immediately jumped on it while I was breaking down the box. Everything locks in place well, it feels secure. I adore it. My ONE AND ONLY complaint is that the seam where the lifting part and the 'desk' meet rub just a little and will splinter some. Nothing much, just aesthetics.

Great little desk

I really like this lap desk. I bought it because I do a lot of laptop work from my bed and this has made things waaaay easier. I've had it for a few months and have had no problems with warping or splinters. I followed the instructions and wiped it down initially with a damp terry cloth. It did give off a slight musky wood-like smell the first day or so but that's all gone now. I store it sideways between my bed and the side table and so the little insert on top does fall out occasionally but it's not a big deal. The more you put it in and out the looser I imagine it to get, but it still works fine. I reviewed and compared this to sooo many others before I bought this one and I have to say I am pretty happy with this purchase. Especially for the price, this is a pretty nice tray.

Among the reviews I viewed, I especially appreciate the in-depth video (Cosmo Weems) which helped me choose this table. Great craftmanship, not too heavy. I love that the main area lifts up to view/work on an angle w/wooden strip on dowel to keep your laptop/book from sliding down & off the table. Best suited to up to 15" laptop, In my opinion. (My laptop is 15" MBP) I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase!

Perfect for Grading, Typing, Netflix, and More!!!

I just used the desk for the first time and I am THRILLED. I'm a teacher and I have been searching for a way to type comfortably on my laptop or get grading done while seated on the couch without craning my neck, and this desk allows me to sit all the way back for pillow support and also have my arms supported by the desk as I type. I think this will greatly improve my life and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile lap desk. **If you have a child in college, BUY THIS FOR THEM!***

Lots of thought put into its design

I'm a graphic designer, and a mom raising twins- obviously it can be tough to get my work done. I wanted something that would help encourage me to work at night when they're sleeping, but also let me rest my back. I've got a surface book 2, which folds inside out and becomes a digital sketchbook. This desk's flip-up top piece is perfect for laying in bed and doodling digital drawings. It fits a mouse and mousepad on the right side, which stays flat. The little drawer is great if you don't want to lose your stylus pen in your comforter. It won't fit an extra keyboard (for those of you that need to use keyboard shortcuts while your computer is in tablet mode)- but if you have a wireless one you can place it next to you on the bed or on a pillow. If you like to draw on physical paper at night while watching TV this desk is a game changer. It's really high quality construction and it looks beautiful.

Totally fantastic!

Terrific desk. What you see is what you get- solid wood construction, adjustable height legs, tilting work surface, etc. It's all engineered really nicely to get the most out of all the features (the legs especially) without making it heavy or cumbersome. The bolts that lock the leg height can be set anywhere you like, and hold tight so I'm able to use this in bed, on the sofa, and so forth- all keeping my work-space at the optimum height with just a few quick adjustments. On that merit alone this thing is head and shoulders above a much more expensive model I bought from a big box store a year ago. The one "downside" if I had to pick something, would be the drawer. It's tight enough that it won't fall out when you move the desk, but at the same time it's not really big enough to really be useful for anything. You can fit pens in there, but the width and depth of it won't allow for much else. Beyond that, this desk is exactly what I was looking for in every regard. I have bought much more expensive desks before, so I was leery that this wouldn't be great considering the price, but it's been everything I wanted and more. If you need a laptop desk, look no farther- this one rocks!

This is a laptop table made of bamboo. It is free of any strong odor, it has a very refreshing fragrance of bamboo. The table is foldable which makes storage easier and saves space. It is in yellow wooden color as described above. The table is very stable and durable. The height of the table is also adjustable according to my needs. I can use it on my floor or on bed. The table can be multi-functional. One way is to use it as a small dinning table for kids. Another way is to use it as a laptop table with a laptop stand. I can even put my iPad on there for reading. The angle is completely adjustable. On the side of the table, it has a small drawer. The size, color, and the function of the table are the same as the product described.

The best desk EVER

The best desk EVER. The finish is beautiful. I like this particular one because is has a smooth surface without the cooling cuts as that would make it difficult to write properly on it. The adjustments are perfect and can be made to suit our needs. The grip seems strong enough to prevent the laptop from sliding down. Extremely happy with the product. Best for students and those who wish to work sitting on the floor! I also love that it can be folded to a compact flat object that can be stored away easily. It also comes with a tiny drawer on the right side.
