Great home/party karaoke system, with fun lighting effects.

Great karaoke unit, with some features beyond what I expected for a home karaoke system. Ability to use a large SD card to hold a large library of MP3+G content and record your performances is a nice touch, but isn't as user-friendly as I would have liked. This is the main drawback I saw during my use, otherwise it worked great when using CD+G discs. If you use the SD card, you will want to be sure to shorten the filenames to a short code (e.g., "FS1002.mp3" and the related lyrics file "FS1002.cdg") and use an external lookup reference of some kind, otherwise you will have some trouble figuring out which file to select as you scroll through the list of files. Switches on the microphones are a somewhat unexpected and nice feature. Included disc is acceptable as a starter kit with familiar folk, children's and holiday songs, but you will definitely want to purchase other tracks better suited to your tastes. If your karaoke needs are more public performance-minded rather than home use-minded (i.e., you're truly a budding professional karaoke DJ), you would be much better off shopping for software (and a laptop computer) to store the music, coordinate the karaoke tracks with artist and full name, your performer's names, and the order in which they will play and appear. System also plays DVDs but not Blu-Ray discs, potentially a bonus if you need to present a DVD, but does not have HDMI outputs, so you're limited to composite output, which may not match well with many of the most recent flat-screen TVs and projectors. This same limitation applies when you want to display the lyrics on a large screen. If a concern, you will need to purchase an adapter to convert output to an HDMI signal. However, if you're looking for a useable home system to practice for karaoke night at the bar, or to feature at a small party at your home, or just to have fun singing karaoke songs at home, this may be a very good system for you.

this system is great!!

we love our Karaoke machine, have two microphones with it. We and our kids all enjoy singing songs using the apps on our Android and Apple phones. Smule and Starmakers are great Karoeke apps you can use for many languages and most of the songs are there. I love changing echo and only music or only voice option in the machine. For the price, you can not beat this system. Great quality...easy to play...my 7 year daughter plays, adjust and sings the songs with her choice all alone. What you want...just this machine to keep you and your kids entertained..:)

Solid Karaoke machine for the money

This machine sounds good and is easy to use following instructions. It has a great sound and is fun to use. I would recommend it. My only suggestions are to be sure to purchase a separate CDg for karaoke machines with songs that your group will like. The discs that are included are older songs and gospel - which is fine if that's what your group wants to sing. Also, the cords on the microphones need to be longer, but it's nice to have two microphones!

Honestly the CD's that came with it are more suited for kids, but the sound quality is good, and I am very impressed with the overall system, we put our IPAD up on the holder, thank you for making my birthday party amazing!

This product met my expectations

This product met and even exceeded my expectations by providing more options when practicing my singing. Inclusion of the headphone jack as well as connectivity to a tablet or computer is awesome. It allows for portability as well. Can't think of anything that I did not like about it except maybe the sideloading of CD's but it works well so far.

Fun times with our karaoke

We had a blast Easter Sunday !!! Everything worked well!!!! My great nieces & , ranging from 7-12 we’re a little impatient on allowing the unit to tune to their song , and I was nervous pushing the unit too hard after reading many reviews of many different units 😌😉 But all went well for the 3-4 hrs of playing .. great times. So happy we have this !!!

Wayyyy Better than Singing Machine

Last year we purchased a Singing Machine brand karaoke machine from Sams Club for our children (boy-9 and girl-10) for Christmas and were severely disappointed in the product being unable to ever get music to play unless we paid for their online subscription. We returned it but got relentless begging from our children again this past Christmas. I was on a mission to find a Karaoke machine that played discs rather than have to deal with downloading and having a device to attach which makes things too complicated for the young ones (and hey I like having my cell phone with me not them). Well the Karaoke USA GF845 Complete Karaoke System delivered beyond our expectations. The discs I got from Amazon played flawlessly (I highly recommend the Kids Karaoke disc - so many great songs). The kids LOVED the two microphones to sing with each other and/or with a friend. We got the 10 pack of Handheld Stage Microphone Windscreen Foam Covers to go with it and they loved those too really adding to the festive look and fun. Paying the extra for the flashing lights was also well worth it as it adds the the entertainment value and makes it a wow experience for everyone! I completely recommend this product without reservation. It was worth paying more to have a reliable machine the kids can operate without having me have to help set it up.

Great little unit.

Has great sound quality but not quite the output volume that I expected. Works great to record yourself when practicing singing.

Loads of Family fun

We have had hours of family fun. I have played music from both my iPhone and Galaxy S7 with no issues. Dual microphones have individual volume controls. Kids love this product, so far we have had no problems. Great at any get together.
