I've smelled foot odor. I've smelled these Sneaker Balls. I prefer the foot odor. Well, in all seriousness, they are a bit odd-smelling - sort of like a moth ball or fertilizer. They work, though, and keep my shoes fresh when I'm not using them. I'm glad I tried them.

Exactly as we remember doing the job of keeping my closet from smelling like a locker room.

Just like I remember them and they do the job they are supposed to do keep my closet smelling better than a pair of sweaty tennis shoes. I play tennis about 3-4 times a week and USTA on weekends so I rotate through different shoes. Needless to say my wife was not happy after awhile, even though my feet and shoes don't really smell when you multiply that by 4 different pairs of shoes even my rosey sent can come through. I put these in and the closet smells much fresher, granted they may not remove the cause of the odor but I let my shoes dry out well between sessions so it has not been an issue. Will plan to always have these on tap as I go through them.

Get's The Job Done

I have 3 different pairs of shoes I primarily wear to work, so it's very convenient that this comes with 3 pairs of sneaker balls. I've been using them for a few weeks now and they do a pretty good job at preventing odor from taking over the shoes after I wear them. They are expected to last for a very long time, and I am hoping that's the case with the ones I ordered. I also like how they are made to look like sports balls. They are very affordable, so I recommend these to anyone who is looking for a solution to combat odor from their shoes.

Worth the money!

I love these fresheners! They’re about the size of a ping pong ball and are super convenient as well as smelling amazing. The pack of 6 is really the best deal because then you have extras you can put anywhere or save. These things last a very long time so I recommend you put them in your shoes slightly opened then rotate them from pair to pair every day. Eventually your shoes will smell pleasant naturally. A must have if you own a smelly gym bag or have stinky feet.

Does the job.

I am a dancer so I have to carry my shoes in a shoe bag everywhere I go. This product does the job of not making my shoe smells. But because it doesn't kill the bacteria in the shoes which is the main cost of the smell, the odor does come back if I wear my shoes for more than 5hrs making my feet smelly again if I take off in front of someone. Kind of embarrassing. My solution to that is to use Lysol disinfect air spray to kill all the bacteria inside the shoes first. Let it sit for 30mins, then throw in the shoe balls. Then let it sit overnight or at least another 8hrs.. After that the odor in my shoes doesn't return for another months or so. Just make sure you do that to all your shoes so the bacteria will not spread from one shoes to another.

No more smells

These didn't fit anyone, as they are not made to wear. However, extremely suitable for my nephew who is an athlete. I purc.hased this for him because he owns a hand full of tennis shoes, and these would suit him just fine. When he opened his Christmas gift, he was very happy. They have great colors and look very sporty. There are 3 sets of Sneaker Balls, and all three are different colors. They are sleek and are very appealing in design. I received them when promised, and was packaged just right. If the need arises, I wouldn't mind ordering again from this vendor.

I bought some more because I love them!

Arrived on time, packed as expected. I received some for Christmas. I bought some more because I love them !! I don't so much need them for my shoes but they are great for my luggage and gym bag. I also gave some as a gift to a coworker that does need them for their shoes and he has now ordered some and loves them as well.

These are awesome! My husband and I worked in a kitchen for a few years and our shoes would just smell so bad between the sweat from hours of running around and being on our feet to the grease smells and the sea food truck. These worked amazing to keep the smell down and our house went from stinking no matter what because of our shoes, to not being able to tell they were ever there

Works like a charm.

If I'm honest, I didn't expect much from these. Put one in my gym bag and four in my shoes. They really do make a huge difference in odor. The only part that ticks me off is when I forget to put these in my shoes at the end of the day, then when I get ready for work/gym and I get a big whiff of nasty odor. From what I can tell, these don't REMOVE the odor like febreze, but they dang sure cover it up for a day. Thought the price was a bit steep at first, but after a month of using them, they really are super effective and I'll be buying more.

Does the job: eliminates odors + masks odors

After using this exact product many years ago, I decided to give them a try since I couldn't remember if they worked well or not. The reviews here on Amazon, seemed mixed; stating that it either worked well at eliminating odors, or masked the odor instead of eliminating it. In an attempt to perform some semblance of a scientific venture, I performed a "pseduo-experiment" to evaluate the efficacy of this deodorizer. I purchased this pack, since it was the cheapest option: Sof Sole Sport Sneaker Balls (3 Pack) I have a fairly smelly pair of shoes that I wear when biking through the city. I received the deodorizers and decided to test them on this pair of shoes, since I could see how well they eliminate already-formed odors. I measured the distance from the shoe opening to my nose over the course of 7 days to see if the distance would decrease; indicating that the funky feet odor was decreasing. Also, I noted the distance at which I could smell the distinct scent of the deodorizers; indicating if the deodorizers were turning my shoes into a pungently masked mess. In both measurements, I removed the deodorizer from the shoe. I always used the deodorizers with the hole open to the largest setting. Here's the results: Day 0 (I haven't used the deodorizers yet, so this is my control/standard): Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 2' 11" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - null, I haven't used the deodorizer yet! Day 1: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 1' 9" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 4" Day 2: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 1' 3" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 5" Day 3: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 1' 0" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 5" Day 4: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 0' 6" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 6" Day 5: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 0' 5" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 5" Day 6: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 0' 3" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 6" Day 7: Distance nose to shoe (funky feet scent) - 0' 2" Distance nose to shoe (deodorizer scent) - 0' 5" Overall, they appear to have done the job! The funky feet scent has drastically decreased, and while the scent of the deodorizer has certainly increased, it appears to have leveled off at 5-6" from the shoe opening. Furthermore, the distance of the deodorizer scent drops to 0" when I'm actually wearing the shoe, since the scent is unable to escape the confines of the shoe interior! I'm pretty pleased with the product, but I can't speak on long term durability of the deodorizers (how long they'll last) or their performance in other types of shoes (my shoes are 90% all-leather, with only the sole of the inside of the shoe being cloth/fabric). So all-in-all, the deodorizers seem to both eliminate odors (decrease funky scent distance) as well as mask odors (overpower funky scent with deodorizer scent). However, the former is drastically more noticeable, so 5/5 stars!
