A Very Nice Headset

Have only used it a couple of times with my PS4 VR setup and it was comfortable to use. Fairly light with well cushioned ear pieces. have not had occasion to use the mike but it folds up and out of the way and blends in with the blue black chrome design. Very nice looking almost futuristic. Has a long cord which I have not had to use while connected to my VR headset. The mike design is really neat almost 1/2 wide and 6" long and curved.. A lot of thought has gone into the design of this headset.

Great for gamers with small heads! Works for PS4 great!

I am a female gamer and find that most headsets are too big for my little noggin' but this one is snug and super comfy. Yes it comes with a USB cable but this does NOT need to be plugged into the PS4 console to use the headset or the volume controller/mute - unmute function. The only reason to connect the USB is if you want the blue LED lights to come on. Really. If you're wearing the headset why do you even care if the LED lights are on? Totally not a deal breaker for the quality and comfort of the headset. And, if you're a PC gamer then you can plug in the USB and get the LED light feature (yay!) All around these are cool design, comfortable af, great snug fit for small heads and affordable.

My son picked this headset out based on looks - he liked the blue light - and wanting to be able to talk to his friends when playing. He says it's comfortable and works really well. We had it for about 6 months, and he then experienced problems with the mic. He could hear his friends, but they could not hear him. Upon inspection, we found that the mic cord was broken. We then contacted the company customer support and they were very prompt and really great about it. They asked the expected questions, such as whether the mute button was on, and asked us to send pictures. When they realised it was a quality issue, they offered to send a replacement. As others have pointed out, the cord location is a bit sensitive to tension, and the customer service rep also recommended to use adhesive tape to provide prevent cord damage. Overall, great experience. And we will tape the cord on the replacement headset when it arrives.

Great product for the cost

Great product for the cost. I use this for the PS4, I have very picky taste for headsets ( I use Astros for my Xbox 1) and these are very good considering the cost. very crisp and loud and exactly what I needed. I have not used the chat function of this product so I cant speak to some of the other reviews but I do love the construction of this head set it is not cheaply made it seems very solid. a must have for gamers on a budget or for younger gamers.

Def worth it for a few hours of gaming a night

These are good! I don't use headphones all the time when gaming, just when someone else is in the room. These are comfortable enough to wear for a few hours at a time. The sound quality is great! The mic works well.... my friends say I am louder when using my computer's default mic, softer when using the headphones (which some may prefer). There is a volume control right on the cord that i love. It's a long braided cord with a velcro strap to keep it shorter if you are close to where it plugs in. The lights are cool, and optional (uses a usb plug in addition to the aux plug for sound). Ear pads are large and soft, the huge pad on the top of the band is perfect. The whole thing is very large, so awkward and bulky on my head, but would fit a larger head well, i think. No complaints!

This headset is awesome! 5 star!

This is the one to buy it works for Xbox one, PS4 and pc(with a adapter). It works 10 times better than my Xbox one headset that cost me 100+ dollars while this one was around 20 dollars and has cool bright led lights. The sound and voice are great. Has a volume controller and mute button on the cable that are handy. VersionTech costumer service is excellent if you have any issue quick and responsive. Thank you!

STRONG good SOUND quality

My son loves these. He’s broken ALL of the others. These have stayed STRONG since day one and so far it’s been many months. I don’t see that changing any time soon. I had to feel and hear for myself and the sound quality was seriously clear and I couldn’t hear much outside the earphones at all. I did a good job picking out these. The lights are very nice but it has to be plugged into a battery pack to play while it’s lit.

Very Nice

Works perfect for me....I have two of them now and they both work great. Sound quality is better than I expected. I used it on xbox one a few days ago and didn't have any trouble communicating with the friend I was speaking too... game sound to me is very good quality as well...seems to hold up well too.. if you want the Koiton one that works on xbox one, ps4, and wii u( I use it on all 3) , then you need the one with just 1 audio/mic jack 3.5mm .... oh and usb jack too for light which you'd need a long usb extension cord to use the light if you use it on the three mentioned consoles because the 3.5 mm jack plugs directly into the controllers where there is no usb outlets, need another usb source and the end plug for lights is very short... also to work with xbox one you need a newer xbox one controller with the 3.5 mm outlet (my xbox one original [not xbox one s] that I bought in February did come with a controller that had the 3.5 mm outlet.(came with gears of war ultimate edition download code) .. a lot of the older xbox one's did not have the proper (I believe they are 2.5mm outlets) and you would need an adapter for this headset to work, so be sure what controller you own.... Disclaimer as well I am NOT an audiophile either and I see some bad reviews... I don't share their experiences with the ones I received . and the sound is very clear sound (almost sometimes I think the sound is coming from somewhere like outside or something in some instances so seems almost surround sound), no static nor sputter and I use them quite often..

Excellent for the serious gamer

I bought this as a gift for my best friend after the last one (different brand) broke a few months after I bought it. Recipient loves it, says it is even better than the initial one I bought him. He is thrilled with it. Item was exactly as described by seller. Arrived on time and intact. Will recommend and order from again.

Excellent Headphones for the price

I was looking for a replacement to my expensive wireless Turtle Beach headphones I dropped and broke. I wanted something that would not break the bank and make me upset if I broke them like my last headphones. The G2000 were recommended to me for their sound and price. I was like no way will these sound as good as my expensive turtle beach headphones but took a chance. I was very surprised at the sound quality and sounded as good as my other headphones costing many times more. The mic works great no issues and I like how they glow Blue. Now they dont have all the features and as plush as my Turtle Beach but they work and fit great with good adjustment features. I picked up a second G2000 for my son and he has been using them exclusively over his Razor headphones he raved about for months.
