Installed on a 2004 MAZDA MIATA (NB). I gave this a 5 stars rating for many reasons. 1. VALUE: many local shops wanted $100 per door. 2. CONNECTING: easy to follow wiring install/connection. 3. CUSTOMIZATION: with some patience and creative thinking i was able to install this on my 2004 MAZDA MIATA (NB). 4. REMOTES: compact, good size, solid look and great bottoms feel. 5. SHIPPING: Prime 2 days on time shipping, no delays. 6. CS: contacted customer service via email with a question and their reply was very helpful, profession and within a few hours. I purchase this because of its customization and one size fits all generic nature. Just note it took some creative thinking and mounting for my vehicle. I would recommend this to friends, family and to everyone else.

Installed the kit in my 2003 extended cab Silverado. I am an auto mechanic and the kit took me about 2 hours to install from start to finish. System works great, if it lasts the test of time it will be well worth it. Even if it only lasts a year, at $30, it will still be worth it. Very simple installation. I would recommend soldering and heat shrinking the wires over using the connectors included in the kit.

Son-in-law had a 2012 Toyota Tundra Base model truck that was a pain to get into and out of because of it's key lock system. Found this keyless entry kit at a great price and decided to give it a try. Did my research, watched a couple of Youtube videos, obtained vehicle wiring info from Bulldog Security, and started the installation. Needed a 524CL cabled doorlock bracket kit for the Toyota's cabled door locks in my case. Overall it took me about 6 hours getting the keyless entry system completely installed doing a little bit each day and learning as I went. It took me a couple of tries for the proper actuator/linkage location because the Toyota door latch is part of the door panel. Toyota does not have readily available wiring diagrams on their vehicles either. Anyway, it way a nice little project for a retiree. I'm happy and my son-in-law is extremely happy.

I love this kit. It works perfectly for my 96' Ford Econoline and was a breeze to install. In fact I've already recommended it to a few of my friends. They have incredible customer service too. I liked the product so much I contacted them to get a 3rd remote. They were nice enough to ship another one out to me free of charge. Awesome! If you want to add power locks to your car regardless of the year make or model, look no further than this kit.

The system is easy to install, made easier by a few google searches to find free sites that list out the color and location of car wires you need to locate and tie into. I was really impressed with the quality and feel of the remotes, far better than the one I had to replace with this unit. I did not rate durability as it is a fresh install. I'll update after 6-9 months.

My old YJ was breaking keys on the rear door and driver side; the cylinders had just seen their day. I was about to purchase a pair of new cylinders for the doors but hesitated because that wouldn’t accommodate the third cylinder and I’d be carrying three keys instead of the original two. The kicker is that the pair of new cylinders is more expensive than this remote kit. Plenty of room in my doors to mount these. The rear door took a bit of time and finesse to get in but remember to take your time and set it up right. These take a little bit of understanding and ingenuity depending on your vehicle but once you’ve got em in, you’ll be happy.

I've done plenty of these, the vehicle is what makes it difficult... but this kit performs excellent, and the range on the remote is more than enough.

Installed in 2015 Nissan Versa Note. Was challenging to install as far as running wires. This is not for the beginner diy’er in my opinion. I am very experienced and had quite a challenge. It probably took around 6 hours. However, I got it done and so far after one month it is working great. The only real gripe I have is that the cables for my manual locks did not have a large enough diameter for the the clamps to work without modification. I worked around this by cutting a strip of wire and clamping it with the cable to take up the space. Ordered a separate kit for the rear hatch but have not installed that yet. Not looking forward to the wiring of that one!

I installed this in my 2004 Ford E350 Super Duty van. It is a utility body van so It only has 2 doors if you don't count the rear door on the utility body. I've done this type of installation before so I knew what to expect. The installation was relatively easy. Everything is color coded and there is an included diagram which tells you what each wire goes to. I had an unused fuse location under the dash, that's where I got the power from. I may hook up a latch to the rear door so that I can use the remote on that one as well. Sometimes I work in areas where I have to make sure I lock the doors every time I pull a tool out. The lock mechanisms seem strong enough. I get a good, solid, noise when I lock and unlock. Basically, if you can't figure out how to hook this up with the included information you should probably just pass the job off to someone who knows.
