  • Requires weight to be inserted into step to prevent it from floating

The steps arrived quickly and just as promised. There are a few steps that require 2 people otherwise one person can put together easily. Steps are beautiful addition to our pool making getting in and out so much easier and safer.Sturdy and well made. I have severe arthritis and 2 torn rotator cuffs and the dual hand rails are so much kinder than a ladder. Doesn't take up any swim room in my opinion. Great product and I am very happy.

We are very please with these pool steps. Speedy delivery. Very easy to put together, although we did not add sand like the directions stated. I was afraid in the fall when we close the poop that we couldn’t lift them out of the pool. My Husband and son made weights out of 2 PVC pipes and concrete. They started by glueing (with pvc cement) one end cap on each pipe. Then mixed the concrete filled up both pvc pipes upto the top waited 2 days for that to dry. After that they glued the other end caps on. Then zip tied the weights on the inside of the steps. Works perfect 😉

Super good Quality. The Instructions are easy to read and follow. For the people complaining about them floating.......the warning to put 40lbs of Sand into the Stairs is printed all over the Instructions in RED. These Stairs are also made to be mounted onto a Deck or Second set of Stairs (outside Pool Stairs). Since we didn't think we could lift these Stairs into the Pool after filling both......Pool and Stairs.....we put the Stairs in while our soft side pool was still very low and I filled the Sand into the Stairs with a Pitcher and a Gatorade bottle (bottom cut out) as a funnel. We drilled the Screws in with a battery operated drill of course. We are planning to built a Deck with Stairs to connect them to this weekend and will use Bolts with Wing Nuts instead of the Screws since we are planning to lay the Stairs down into the Pool during Monsoon season to be able to cover it more tightly. Also planning on doing that for Winter Storage since I don't think we will be able to lift them all the way out of the Pool during Winter. For us living in the Desert there might be some opportunities to swim even in the Winter......that way the Stairs would just have to be stood up. Again...............these are worth every Penny as far as there Quality goes. Looking forward to Entering and Exiting my Pool Safely :)

Exceptional fit for our pool, instead of regular sand I used the Black Diamond blasting sand from Tractor Supply. It is heaver than sand by volume and I had some on hand. It worked great the steps are very stable we did not even have to attach the steps to the deck, so now we can just slide it out of the way to vacuum under it.

This product was packaged very well and arrived in excellent condition. And I love it. It is just what we were looking for. Due to physical conditions of both myself and my wife it is very difficult, if not impossible to climb up even the most sturdy pool ladders to get into our pool. We had a system that utilized a ladder on the outside and steps on the inside. So we ordered these steps, attached them to the outside ladder and now have steps inside and outside. And we both use them with ease. We recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Put this in out 52" deep pool to make it easier to get in and out. No more shaky ladder, I attached this to our small platform for the pool and they worked great. I did not fill the stairs with sand for weight, figured it would make it too heavy to get out when we close the pool at the end of summer. I instead took 2 large empty plastic cat litter jugs and filled them up with pea gravel. I then tied them to the side of the ladder and they worked fine. Now to close all I have to do is untie the jugs lift them out and lift out the stairs for the winter.

Great ladder, very stable, handrails could be a bit stronger, but quite acceptable. I used Pea Gravel instead of sand, with the drain holes, and seams, sand could escape, and make a bit of a mess....just my method. The plastic portion is not difficult to assemble, but not 1 2 3.....took a while to put it all together. The extra time in getting the weighing material and it’s cost, were reasonable, but still extra time to complete it. For an amputee, the reason I got the ladder, it was a bit difficult....not impossible, but I’m near 60. So if your an aged, or retired client, you may want to consider hiring someone to put it together, and then get it in the pool. My friend help me float it in, on a rubber mat, another expense, and it is a really great and stable ladder. Just being honest..if I had both legs, and was below the age of 45... it would have been a breeze.....

We were looking for a solid set of stairs to replace our old ladder. Found these and they arrived quickly. Packaged well. Easy assembly. They're nice and wide steps. Feels a lot more steady than our narrow ladder did. We used the pvc pipe trick for anchoring and it worked out fine. Originally hubby had them zip tied as you see in the pic but in the end we moved them around to the outside of the steps. Not in the way and really it just looks like something you'd see at a boat dock lol Works for us. Great set of stairs!!

Wow!! Easy to assemble and they are huge!!! Such a big improvement from our boring ladder. We did take some advice from others and cut off the excess "flash" from the mold to reduce the risk of cuts. The hardest part was actually getting the stairs to sink...you must have two people. I was not the best of help to my husband so I'd suggest someone that has a little bit of muscle to help you get them into the pool.
