It's like there's flashlights in my reverse light sockets now
These just might be the brightest led tail lamp/turn signal bulb on the market. I installed these in my tail lights for brake and reverse lights on my 99 Dodge 2500 and wow. It's like there's flashlights in my reverse light sockets now. I mean these things are dumb bright. Backing up at night I can actually see what's behind me with these. As a brake and turn signal bulb it has a good, bright flash and running function. I would say better than regular halogen. Very satisfied with these bulbs.

Good lights. Warning - might affect cruise control
UPDATE: a few months after installing, I wanted to use Cruise Control, and it wouldn't engage at all. I spent a maddening week trying to find the cause, replaced two parts that didn't need replacing, and finally found that these bulbs were the cause, because I didn't install the resistors (I only replaced the relay to avoid hyper-flashing). The LED bulbs were keeping my cruise control from engaging. The bulbs aren't drawing enough power, and the computer read it as if I had blown bulbs, and wouldn't engage the Cruise Control. Replaced with regular bulbs for testing and it works just fine! I will install resistors, because I want to keep the LED's but this was a very interesting effect of the bulbs. I am not dropping any stars because the product is very good, but the seller should post a warning that they might affect Cruise if installed without resistors. Replaced the original weak halogen ones on 2004 Ford Taurus PROS: - very bright (probably 50% brighter than original ones) - multi directional - fit perfectly - dual beam (just like the originals, these bulbs change from dim to bright when you press the brakes or for the turn signal ) CONS: - I needed to replace the flasher relay ($7 on Amazon), as they were hyper-flashing

Great Bulbs
I purchased these for my 1997 Ford F350. I had replaced all of the head light/tail light lenses and wanted to add a nice LED lamp as well. These are well made and worth the price. One Note: as others have stated on older vehicles when changing from filament style bulbs to LED, you will need an electronic blinker/flasher module so the lights will not "hyper-blink" (since they draw much less power). In my case, I had already replaced mine with an electronic style when the original failed. Adding the LED lamps were just plug and play. VERY bright and they look good through the clear lenses. Very pleased.

Works as direct replacement for 1997 GMC truck OEM incandescent backup/turn/stop light
Was purchasing a new set of backup bulbs for the GMC. Was VERY pleased to try the new bulb in the turn signal/brake light socket and found that they worked perfectly! NO Hyper-Flash, all works well. Ordered two more for the other side backup and turn signal/brake lights. Hopefully they will have a long life! Like the high light output, low wattage of these LED bulbs. My goal was to replace the OEM high wattage incandescent bulbs which overheated the OEM backing plate/bulb holders on my truck (the guts of the rear tail light assemblies) . I replaced the bulb holding backing plates (both sides) because of old age/melting from the OEM Incandescent bulbs and was hoping for a low wattage LED alternative. It Appears I found them!!!

Problem Solved!
I had a problem with my 2006 Jeep Liberty and both driver and passenger side rear STOP lights. The lamp socket was getting so hot over a long period (no I do not ride the brakes!) the sock was melting and discolored. It had the original factory bulbs so I replaced them with these low wattage LED bulbs. They are as bright, or brighter than the originals at a fraction of the current and heat. I did have to replace the sockets but I do not think I will ever have to re-address this issue again, with this vehicle.

Nice quality. Excellent price. Plan to replace every two years or sooner.
Nice quality. Excellent price. These lamps are not as blinding as the one's I removed, so I'm pleased. Based on several years experience with automotive LED bulbs in my older vehicles (1995 to 2003), I will not expect that these will last more than two years. I have found that moisture badly corrodes the assemblies. Most exterior lamps are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). Incandescent bulbs are less prone to corrosion due to the heat they generate (keeps them dry).

As reviewed !
Have only had them a short time, but they arrived quickly and well packaged. They fit my 06 PT Cruiser perfectly. The factory backup lights are quite poor so anything is an upgrade. They are gleaming LED white and make the stock lights look like candles. Significantly brighter but not obnoxious. My searching revealed some dimmer and some that sounded distracting even in daylight. I did not want to draw attention. They are a perfect compromise in brightness. Unless you have to deal with a lot of visual distractions while backing these are plenty bright. Backing a trailer might be a negative as the trailer itself will be well lit and hard to see beyond. I am happy !

No CAN Bus error and insanely bright
I installed these on the front of my 2007 Ford F250. Although iBrightstar says nothing about CAN bus compatibility, I did not get any errors. These are so insanely bright, I may have to put a piece of tape in the center of my (clear lens) turn signal housing to keep from blinding drivers. I will be ordering a second pair for the rear. Because they are so bright, I will be happy to run during the day without headlights, saving almost 100 watts of gas wasting power.

They are brighter than I expected and much better than the 'original' lights
These LED upgrade lights (3157) work extremely well. They are brighter than I expected and much better than the 'original' lights. Very nice Upgrade for older vehicles!!!!! Super easy install. The lights were nicely packed to insure protection while in Transit. This is a very good Company that partners with Amazon with products that out-perform. You can't go wrong with iBrightstar.

Amazing reverse lights, as brake lights may trigger ABS light.
These are really bright led lights. They are multi light level, so they are dim with tail lights on and get brighter with signals and brake lights, they worked fine, however on my vehicle, these lights disabled the traction control system and the ABS system. I know it was these lights because once I switched to the old incandescent lights and turned the car off and on the light went away. Fortunately my reverse lights are the same socket size. As reverse lights they are incredibly bright, and you can really see the light shine down the road. Note I do use a led compatible turn signal flasher, and my car uses one bulb for turn, brake, and parking lights. These lights are polarity sensitive and need to be flipped around so that the negative and positive are aligned.
