Easy to use and mold
Easy to use and mold. After I molded it (seconds not minutes like others) I had to trim down the size a little because of my small mouth size. Comfortable to sleep in all night. What really impressed me the most was taking it into my dentist's office to show the dentist. (My dentist office is a tech wonderland with all the latest equipment) I had thought this would be a stop-gap for me while the "real" dental guard was being made but got surprised and saved myself about $500. My dentist said this do-it-yourself dental guard was just fine and to keep on using it. He checked the bite and how it fit, and how the back teeth did with it in place. I will definately buy it again. (My dog ate the very first one, so be careful)

Protectmy teeth vey well.
Easy to understand directions. Protect my teeth very well. I had a question about if they would stick to my dental bridge that I have in my mouth. So I had to call and a dentist answered the phone. Wonderful service. Don't be afraid to call and ask any questions you might have. I used to awaken with a dull ache in my lower jaw in the back from grinding my teeth but this dental guard has completely fixed that problem.

Two thumbs up
Product works as described, price is great, and excellent customer service. Before trying this one, I first tried a custom made night guard from my dentist, which cost nearly $400. Couldn't stand to wear it because of how bulky and rigid it was. This one is much more comfortable for me.

GREAT PRODUCT. So happy I found it.
I was really happy with the previous ProDental mouth guard for the product and the customer service when I had some initial trouble getting a good fit, so I thought I should give the new thinner version a try. It's great. Really thin and comfortable. If you follow the directions step-by-step, the guard will fit just fine. I got a great fit for 2 out of the 3 I received, however I ruined the third one by touching the side of the hot pan and it got stuck, so be careful about that. It's a fantastic product and their customer service is second to none. My dentist was charging close to $700 for a mouth guard and it looks and feels exactly like this one. So happy to have found it and not thrown my money away. GREAT PRODUCT.

THIS PRODUCT is the REAL DEAL!
THIS PRODUCT is the REAL DEAL! I have a "night guard" made by my dentist 20 years ago and that I used off and on for a number of years - but I can't find it now. I tried 2 other products in the past week or two, one from my drug store and one other from Amazon - but they don't quite cut it - too thick. But this guard, when properly fitted to your teeth according to the instructions comes very close to the professionally-made $500 product. Just be sure to read the instructions and follow them to the letter. I would suggest that even if you still have the dentist-made mold of your teeth, don't use it to attempt a fit outside your mouth. Just follow the instructions.

Amazing Customer Service and Suppport
I tried to make two of dental guards because I grind my teeth at night. However, I was not getting a good impression of my teeth and the guards were both too loose. I contacted the company, worried that I only had one left. They provided me some tips on what could be causing the problem (mouth guard cooling too much before putting in my mouth to mold). Success, I was able to create a great fitting mouth guard. I even tried re-heating one of the ones that didn't originally get a good impression, and it too came out great! The company is also sending me 3 new guards. I didn't know at the time that reheating the previously used guards would work. Best customer service I've seen in a long time! This saved me hundreds over having the dentist make me one and now I have multiple guards. Some of the tips they provided were to 1) hold the spoon right above the mouth piece while in the hot water in order to get it out ASAP when the walls start to curl and 2) to heat the wet paper towel, so it doesn't cool the guard down too much before molding to teeth. I do recommend using a wooden spoon. I didn't have one and placed my slotted metal spoon in ice, as instructed. That's how I ruined the first mouth guard. It stuck to the spoon really bad, even with the ice bath. I borrowed a wooden spoon from my neighbor for the others and that worked much better. These guards are comfortable and not too hard. Great product!

Very Satisfied
I have suffered from TMJ, dental grinding, periodically over the last 20 years. The result is aching in my 2 remaining wisdom teeth and neck pain. When my now retired dentist diagnosed this initially he made a dental guard/plate which along with aspirin solved the problem. Since then I occasionally get flare-ups due to stress. As my bite changed a bit over the years I started using over the counter guards which I find effective and less costly though they take a bit of patience getting the initial fit correct. Recently, I bought the ProDental Thin and Trim Guard hoping for a better fit and I have not been disappointed. I did waste one guard trying a bit too hard to get the fit right but the second attempt went well. My dental pain has just about completely gone after 2 weeks of wearing and last night I slept without it. I did develop a cheek irritation after 1 week so I e mailed MKC Products and Dr Closson promptly responded with a suggestion of some careful trimming. This solved the problem and my cheek is fine now. The product is not particularly different from others on the market but this version is a bit thinner and fits well and I don't drool which happens with a thicker guard. I give the ProDental Guard a "B+" and Customer Support an "A+". The customer support is what really sets this product from the others.

Great Dental Guard, Fantastic Customer Service!
I had my NTI, same purpose as this Dental Guard but I paid $350 seven years ago, just imagine how much the price will be nowadays. My NTI turned nasty after a couple of years of usage so I stopped using it. I was looking for a cheaper alternative of night guard and I’m glad to read the reviews of other users of this product, the reason why I bought Pro Dental mouth guard. First I was skeptical because I only used the expensive NTI which I bougjt from my dentist. The first time I tried to mold the guard in my mouth was a disaster since I don’t know what to expect. The instruction says if it loosens up, try to dip it in the hot water again (that I just boiled) and re-mold. So I kept on doing it until I got the hang of it. Of course I ruined the first dental guard but the second one (from the pack of 3) was perfect, I finally got the fit and the snug that I want. To have the snug you need, once you see the mouth guard curling in the hot water, take it out right away, spread it and mold it in your mouth- don’t be scared, the plastic guard won’t scald your mouth. Make sure while it’s still warm in your mouth to push the plastic towards the upper part of your gum (if molding for upper teeth) to get the snug and fit you want. Let your tongue help in molding the inner side of the guard. Make sure you have a wooden spoon dipped in ice and water to pick up the dental guard from scalding hot water. If your water is not hot enough and didn’t boil, molding it will be a failure! The customer service of Pro Dental is FANTASTIC! I emailed them and let them know I ruined the first mouth guard, they were so cool about it, mailed me an extra one, so I received two in the mail and they arrived quickly. Bottom line, I’m so glad I bought the Pro Dental mouth guard because I was able to sleep better by having longer and restful sleep. I’m not waking up in the middle of the night due to teeth grinding any longer. I don’t feel my jaw so uptight in the morning since dental guard prevents me from grinding my teeth. Just like what the manual said, wear the mouth guard 30 minutes prior to sleeping to get use to it, once the dental guard is inside your mouth, you won’t feel it any longer when you’re about to sleep. Just follow the instruction on how to mold it and you’ll have a happy and restful sleep!

Great product, wonderful customer care
I've had TMJ on and off for many years and it has gotten worse since I had a new dental filling earlier this year. Even after many follow up visits, my bite has never felt right again and TMJ symptoms were starting to make me feel depressed. After reading several articles on TMJ relief, I decided to try a mouth guard one more time to eliminate the nighttime teeth clenching habit that I might possibly have. "ProDental Thin and Trim Anti Grinding" was much thinner compared to other company's product that I tried before. I have a relatively small mouth and I'm also used to wear a thinner retainer made by a dentist, so I got excited when I found this particular product on Amazon. It came with detailed instructions along with a link to an instructional video created by ProDental. My first attempt was not very successful even after reading and watching the fitting instructions a few times. I sent e-mails with my questions to Dr. Closson (ProDental) like other reviewers recommended. He wrote me back very thorough emails with many great tips. After following his tips and advice, I was able to make a beautiful mouth guard with my second mold. I wear it while I sleep and haven't had any issues or discomfort so far. I hope that I'll find a relief from TMJ by wearing the mouth guard at night and trying some at-home remedies during the day. I'm so glad that I found this item and very grateful for their most wonderful customer care. Thank you. :)

I used the Suddora kind and liked them OK
I grind my teeth in my sleep. I've had a really expensive mouth guard from my dentist and also some of the soft, silicone kind that you mold at home (also purchased on Amazon--the Suddora). I lost the one from my dentist and didn't want to spend a lot to replace it. I used the Suddora kind and liked them OK, but even at $14 a pop, that could get expensive with the frequency at which I've had to replace them. I don't like that I am never sure when I'm going to bite/grind through them and possibly chip my teeth again. I've also had some I bought at a brick and mortar drug store but did not like at all. These are great. Very easy to mold, very comfortable to wear. I love how thin they are but they are sturdier than the soft ones you usually buy and mold at home. They're more similar to the kind from my dentist only a bit thinner/more flexible. Will definitely buy again if I wear through all three of these! Though I've been using one for a couple months now and no signs of wear-through. It's more like that a re-buy will happen from loss or them just getting gross over time. Highly recommend.
