Bought this product to enable me to add a handheld shower wand to my parents current shower head. The product is fantastic. I am a 58 year old woman with NO plumbing experience. I watched some of the videos and by the time the diverted arrived, I was confident that I could do it myself. I was able to install it within 10 minutes with no problems. The diverted is sturdy, heavy, and well made. I thought that I might have to tweak it with more Teflon tape or rubber washers to prevent leaks. That was not the case. It worked PERFECTLY. I also installed the Handheld shower wand I purchased from Amazon and installed that at the same time. It was also sturdy, heavy, and well made. No leaks from either item. If I was able to do this with no help from anybody, anyone can do it. I’m pretty sure the quality of the products contributed to the ease of installation. Extra rubber washers were also included in case of a slight leak that might result from removing an extremely old shower head and reinstalling it. I used the extra washers, just in case. Also, make sure to remove any old Teflon tape before applying the new Teflon tape. I also removed the restricter from my parents old shower head. They said their old showerhead, which had no pressure to it for the past twenty years, nearly knocked them down. They loved it. I read about the restricter while researching shower heads. There are plenty of videos showing you how to do this. It takes about 5 seconds. I highly recommend this product. I was so impressed with the diverter and the handheld shower wand I purchased for my parents that 5 days later, I purchased the same two items for myself.

This chrome diverter is good quality per shine, weight and function. can tighten or loosen swivel function. Swivel really good for getting pliers in there (I used a cloth between chrome and pliers as recommended, herein other reviewers) ...in there to connect to the Brass Hex Bushing Reducer 3/4 MPT x 1/2 FPT Model FB908-D. -- correct size but -- Which is probably wrong reducer because I ended up breaking the plastic connector furnished with my Giantex mini-washer trying to get it to stop leaking. But Which I also love, except for this connection issue. Well designed, works great!

I bought this valve to replace the one that came with the hand-held shower kit. It was difficult to use and broke after a short time. This valve is much nicer and very easy to turn to divert the water flow. Well designed, good quality for a reasonable price.

This is a nice looking valve and works just perfect. Should my son and he mentioned it looks great! Easy fit up and your good to go. I have had this item 2 weeks. Bought because my wife like the wand and I was so missing my strong mist low flow shower head. Now we are both happy

Works Great and Easy to Install

We've had several diverter valves over the years for a hand-held shower in our master bath, but they have always been the "push-pull" type. As I have gotten older there are a few things that are more difficult to do with my hands and trying to use the old style valves was one of them. This valve has a simple "twist" style arm to change from the shower head to the hand-held unit and it so much easier to use. It's also very easy to install, which is great for a "not-so-handyman" guy like me. Just remember to use a bit of teflon tape around the threads to stop minor leaks.

All metal construction. No leaks

I had a hard time finishing this item in our local stores. They only offered one style...and they were bland. I was surprised at how well made this product was. It is very solid with all metal construction. It hasn’t leaked and it looks really nice. The handle is super easy to operate and feels good in the hand. I’m glad I picked this one up over the others.

Quality well made diverter!!!

Worked perfectly! Easy install, replaced a leaking plastic diverter. Came with 3 rubber washers and Teflon tape. Well made, heavy brass construction, highly polished smooth chrome finish. Nice!! I looked at many of these and opted for this one... it worked out great for my application, main reason I got this one is you can tighten it down in any position as it has a slip nut and also the lever is easy to actuate ,water flow is great in either position, the finish is bright, well made, no leaks and everything fit with no probs.... I used this on a Premier Tub where the diverter outlet for the hand shower is sticking straight up..... I added a rainfall wall mount shower and this valve allows me to switch from hand shower to overhead rain shower I installed....

Great value for the money

I love the fact that this is made of solid brass and works better than I had anticipated. It allows you to use both the shower head and hand shower at the same time, as well as being a diverted. The chrome playing is good quality. I also like it’s compact size.

Very satisfactory piece of kit

Sturdy and well made. The lever action is perfectly smooth. I was at first concerned to see the small hole through which the water passes as it is nowhere near the full diameter of the fitting, but somehow it does not noticeably restrict waterflow. Before mounting the shower head, I timed the flow of water straight from the pipe into a bucket with and then without this valve and the amounts were the same. I would have sent it back in a heartbeat if there was any reduction as my whole shower setup has been designed (er, hacked) to to allow for full flow.
