Very good quailty excellent markings

Excellent square. Im glad I purchased this one. It reminds me of what USA quality used to be. Graduations are 1/8 and 1/12 ths on one side, millimeters on the other. They are press "stamped" or "rolled" in the steel and are all crisp and clear. Has a clear coat to preserve the finish. I ordered a johnson square but returned it because of deep scratches and gouges with the graduation markings etched on the metal. I prefer VINCA

Heavy, sturdy, great quality!

Heavier and thicker then I expected. Great quality and perfect for everyday use and also special activities. I use it mostly for sewing when measuring and cutting fabric. Very happy with the purchase!

Durable, Accurate, Long-lasting L Framing Square!

This Vinca 8 in. x 12 in. Steel Framing Square is one tough square. The square is steel which has some weight to stay in place and not shift. The markings are stamped and protected with an epoxy finish to protect from rust. The coating leaves a shiny smooth covering which reflects light and blackening the marks would have helped visibility. I use it mostly as a guide for setting cuts so the stamped markings are not as important for me, but the numbers are large and can be read just fine in good lighting. What I need in a square is true alignment and in this regard, my Vinca square is solidly accurate. Its a good standard framing square at a great price.

Sturdy

You never know what you’ll get sometimes when ordering from amazon. I was expecting something flimsy but what I received was much better quality. This L frame is sturdy enough so that it won’t bend out of shape easily. Other than that it serves its purpose.

When you just don't need a full-sized square

I like this square better than my full size square. It's very sturdy and small enough for a tool box. I rarely measure directly from the square but the marking on this model are perfectly clear enough for it if you're inclined. It has impressive heft for its diminutive size. I like it.

Nice size and perfect for my projects

I needed this T-square for some projects around the house. I wanted a metal one because I will be using an exacto knife to cut, using this item as a guide. I certainly didn't want one that would rust over time. This one is non-rusting and it is nicely priced for the hobbyist.

This is a great addition to the toolbox of anyone making frequent cuts to wood or any other material. Solid piece of steel that is sure to last for a long time. In a pinch can be used as a spacer as well.

Good price

WEll basically its a flat piece of metal that tells you if things are square or not,no moving parts and nothing to really screw up so its fine. The price was right and it was the size i need . It arrived on time and undamaged so i would recommend it.
