EXCELLENT for problem skin!

As a mom who has been pregnant and nursing children for the past few years, I have noticed a decline in the condition of my skin: more permanent lines and wrinkles with ageing, and breakouts coupled with dry zones and general skin sensitivity due to hormonal fluctuations. Basically all of the malfunctions, I’m so lucky. That’s a lot for one moisturizer to tackle, but this lotion has really impressed me! It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly and leaves you feeling like there’s nothing there. And after only about 3 days of use, I was shocked to see a lasting difference in the appearance of my laugh lines and crow’s feet; the skin looks smoother, plumper and less dried-out. Previous moisturizers either hydrated but made me break out, or just didn’t hydrate enough. But one does it all! Highly recommend.

This product leaves my normal/sensitive skin feeling hydrated, but never greasy.

I have been using Cetaphil’s Daily Hydrating Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid for a couple of years now, but was purchasing it online from a drugstore. Amazon has much better prices and faster, free delivery with my Prime membership. I love this daily hydrating lotion because it goes on light, but penetrates deeply. I have normal, sensitive skin and while this product says it is for “dry, extra dry skin” it works perfectly on my skin type. I love that it is fragrance free because I am scent sensitive. This product leaves my skin feeling hydrated, but never greasy. It’s perfect under makeup. I use it in the morning and before bed and my skin is radiant. Nobody believes me when I say that I’m 40 because my skin looks fresh and supple everyday.

Lightweight gel-like. My skin looks better after only a week. Goes well under make up. It does sort of burn my undereye area so I stay clear of that. Cetaphil has a good ranking in the EWG.org database. Gotta love nontoxic products

I love this product

I love this product. Moisturizes without making my face feel oily or sticky. I love how light it feels and that it doesn't have a scent. I have pretty dry skin and I love that my face doesn't start to get flaky halfway throughout the day when I use this in the morning.

Transformed My Skin!

I typically wouldn’t write a review but this product has completely changed my skin. I have been using acne products to manage and reduce acne on my face for more than ten years. It has been a struggle to have completely clear skin. With the use of acne products my skin ultimately dries out and becomes oily and then new acne appears. This whole cycle has repeated itself for as long as I can remember. The acne system has moisturizers that allegedly treat the dryness but I have found them to be ineffective. I could feel the dryness on my skin when I moved my face—which is a terrible feeling. I was recommended Cetaphil moisturizer for the whole body/face by a dermatologist for a different skin condition. However, in effort to try and combat my acne dryness I used it on my face after I applied the three-step acne system. I got awesome results and it really helped get my skin feeling more moisturized and it provided extreme relief from having my skin dried out. I was happy with the result I was getting with my skin feeling moisturized—however I was still getting acne and my skin was still oily. I was going to purchase the whole-body moisturizing lotion again on Amazon but I saw this particular lotion made specifically for the face and very dry skin. Since I had such a great result with the whole-body moisturizer I thought I would give this a try as well. It has been over a month and my skin has completely changed. I apply this first-- in conjunction with my acne system-- and I have noticed my acne breakouts are reduced by a considerable amount. I have forgotten how my face looked like without acne and scars left by them. This lotion has done so much in terms of clearing up my skin and leaving it feeling moisturized and less oily. My face has never been this clear since I was a teenager. I would strongly recommend this product!!

Great stuff for dry skin.

I have dry skin and most moisturizers I use stop working after a short amount of time. This stuff is amazing. Doesn't feel greasy. Absorbs well. My skin feels healthy and hydrated. Will definitely be repurchasing this.

GREAT NON-GREASY WARMER WEATHER MOISTURIZER!

I use the Cetaphil thicker night cream in the COLDEST, DRIEST months, but like something lighter for Spring, Summer and Fall. THIS is it! PROS AND CONS: PROS - LIGHTER - I LOVE the LIGHTER TEXTURE! MOISTURE - while LIGHTWEIGHT, it seems to DRAW moisture to my skin, which is what I look for LONGEVITY - LASTS. I put on a couple LIGHT layers, let one sink in a little, add a little more and it LASTS. It leaves moisture rather than a greasy feel. SCENT (OR RATHER LACK OF) - THIS IS HUGE as products can give me a headache with a heavy scent. I get almost NO scent from this, so thrilled. SENSITIVE SKIN - I HAVE VERY sensitive skin (I use DOVE BABY SOAP for SENSITIVE SKIN) and this is GREAT. My skin just sucks in the moisture and it doesn't irritate, just enhances. QUANTITY/COST - FOR WHAT YOU GET, GREAT PRICE! STOCK UP when it's on sale. NO CONS for me - IN WINTER, I will likely go back to the CETAPHIL NIGHT CREAM for the REALLY COLD, DRY months, but for now, THIS is the ONLY facial/neck moisturizer I need! .

It’s oil free and it’s indicated for extra dry skin, which in my opinion is good for all skin types and for real dry skin I would use it as a serum. BENEFITS: ✅ Perfect for all skin types including sensitive. ✅ Penetrates within seconds and leaves no residue. ✅ Hydrates and moisturizes deeply in one product. ✅ Suitable for acne prone skin. ✅ Oil free, non-comedogenic (wont clog pores). ✅ Dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested. ✅ 100% fragrance free. ✅ It’s a straightforward moisturizer, you can’t beat that. ✅ Wears well under makeup and after serums. CONS: ❌ It’s marketed for dry/very dry skin and I see this moisturizer more suitable for normal to combo skin. ❌ if you’re dry/very dry you will need a second product as moisturizer. Can be used in dry to very dry skin as a serum (you will need a heavier moisturizer afterwards), it’s fine if it’s used as a preparative step before a heavier moisturizer/oil.

I have sensitive skin, which is so prone to acne I don’t touch my face, ever, or I get pimples. For that reason, finding a moisturizer for my face has been a decades long process of trying all different brands and formulas, with no lasting success. I began using Cetaphil cleanser for my face about a year ago, and it was a total game changer, but I was still in need of moisture. I tried the Cetaphil moisturizer with SPF protection, and it was good, but I still couldn’t keep my face completely clear. Then I tried this formula. Oh.My.Gosh, the search is over!! This moisturizer is the perfect blend of moisture and no acne-causing heaviness. Like other reviewers have said, it is much thinner than a lotion. It’s not liquid, but somewhere in between. I LOVE it. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and I haven’t had a single chin pimple or cheek blemish. It’s the answer to my wish for clear skin! I realize that everyone’s skin is different, so if you need heavy moisture, move on to the next. But my experience is one of years of frustration and wasted money, but now, I’m so happy to discover this stuff that I hope it never gets discontinued!! I’m loyal to Cetaphil and their cleanser and this moisturizer for life.

Best basic face lotion. For people with regular skin, I think you won't find a better face lotion.

I used to use regular body lotion my face for literally my whole life. I saw my roomates using this lotion and so I got it. Much better! No breakouts and not as much sweating in humid environments. I still sweat with this lotion, but not as bad. It's also very light and feels invisible. Definitely moisturizing when you put it on. Each bottle lasts me 3-4 months at around 2 applications a day with 1 pump per application. So with this in mind and at the given price point, I have no complaints.
